NORTHERN SUN is a striking 51m exploration vessel set up for adventure, cruising in areas less travelled. With a range of 12,000 nautical miles, she is incredibly seaworthy and is capable of cruising almost anywhere in the world. Having completed a refit in 2019, she is now better than ever.

This impressive 51m yacht offers an abundance of space for up to 12 guests in true comfort and style. Her main deck is dedicated entirely to entertainment areas; from the light and airy Main Saloon to the inviting alfresco dining on the aft deck. The full beam Master stateroom has a King sized bed and sofa as well as an ensuite bathroom equipped with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. There is also a dedicated study area and another five luxurious staterooms, tastefully decorated giving each cabin its own identity. With 12 professional crew members, your every need will be attended to.

Based in Phuket, Thailand, NORTHERN SUN offers cruising throughout the Gulf of Thailand and Andaman Sea. NORTHERN SUN is all about adventure and exploration. Narasaki luxury yacht Northern Sun is able to comfortably sleep 12 guests, looked after by a friendly and professional crew of 11.

Luxury motor yacht NORTHERN SUN has a warm welcoming interior, featuring sumptuous woods, hand-woven rugs throughout and contemporary bespoke soft furnishings. The salon is on the main deck surrounded by panoramic windows, allowing for stunning views and ample natural light. Guest may enjoy relaxing in 3 well-appointed spaces, from the games area forward to the lounge centered, to a further lounge aft. On the lower deck, a generous formal dining area seats guests in style. Forward of the dining area is the full beam master suite and one twin cabin, while aft and below decks are a further 4, bright and airy guest cabins.

The sundeck is spacious and perfect for a casual afternoon or romantic evening, complete with seating, tables, service area and deluxe Spa Pool tub. Run by twin Yanmar 6G-UT diesel engines, the 50m superyacht Northern Sun (ex Hokko Maru) reaches a maximum speed of 13 knots and a cruising speed of 10.5 knots. The all-steel Northern Sun boasts a beam of 9m (29´53´´) and a maximum draught of 5m (16´40´´).

NORTHERN SUN is an impressive expedition-style yacht based in Thailand and available for charters in South-East Asia.  

Originally built as a research vessel in 1976, NORTHERN SUN was rebuilt in 2007 and updated each year since.  

The interior features generous living and dining spaces and can sleep up to 12 guests over 6 cabins including a master, 3 doubles & 2 twins. NORTHERN SUN also features an entertainment & games room complete with piano!  

Featuring a wide variety of water sports toys, tenders and even a two-story inflatable slide, NORTHERN SUN will ensure that you and your guests never run out of activities.

Northern Sun: 50 meters of stately cruising luxury.

Northern Sun offers an abundance of interior space: a massive master cabin, three double and two twin cabins, sleeping 12 guests in true comfort. The main deck is entirely dedicated to entertainment spaces: a vast light and airy main saloon, an entertainment saloon with games table and piano. For relaxation and conversation there is an aft saloon overlooking the aft deck with its open air dining area.

The lower deck features an impressive formal dining room and an adjoining library for relaxing with a good book. The Asian influence on Northern Sun’s interior design may be seen in the elegance of tropical woods such as teak, makore and narra throughout.

While the aft deck is a favorite for alfresco dining, the foredeck offers a lounging area perfect for cocktails during quiet evenings at anchor or sharing a beautiful sunset. The private top deck offers a jacuzzi, solitude and 360 degrees of panoramic views.
