Megan Thee Stallion Reacts After Being Heckled By Tory Lanez Fans

Megan Thee Stallion struggled to hide her true feelings after running into pro- Tory Lanez hecklers in the U.K.

In a video that surfaced on Thursday (July 18), the Houston Hottie, who is currently on the road in Europe on her Hot Girl Summer Tour, can be seen walking past a group of people when several of them yell out, “Free Tory Lanez.”

After hearing the taunts, Megan not-so-subtly puts her hand to her nose and makes a face of disgust.

Megan Thee Stallion has not taken jokes about her shooting at the hands of Tory lightly.

Last year, she called out her music peers for their lack of support after Tory was found guilty of firing several shots at her during a drunken dispute in July 2020.

In a powerful op-ed for ELLE , she wrote: “For years, my attacker laughed and joked about my trauma. For years, my attacker peddled false narratives about what happened on the night of July 12, 2020. For years, my attacker tried to leverage social media to take away my power.

“Imagine how it feels to be called a liar every day? Especially from a person who was once part of your inner circle.”

She continued: “I could have let the adversity break me, but I persevered, even as people treated my trauma like a running joke. First, there were conspiracy theories that I was never shot. Then came the false narratives that my former best friend shot me.

“Even some of my peers in the music industry piled on with memes, jokes, and sneak disses, and completely ignored the fact that I could have lost my life. Instead of condemning any form of violence against a woman, these individuals tried to justify my attacker’s actions.”

Notable rappers who attempted to downplay the shooting include  Drake ,  Joe Budden  and  50 Cent — the latter of whom later apologized .

Before Tory Lanez was sentenced to 10 years in prison for the incident, Megan accused him of embarking on a campaign to “destroy” her character.

The “Savage” rapper didn’t attend his sentincing hearing as she wanted to “preserve her mental wellbeing,” according to Law&Crime  reporter Meghann Cuniff . But she did provide a scathing written statement that was read aloud in court by District Attorney Kathy Ta.

In it, Megan blasted Tory for spinning false narratives about the shooting, which left her with bullet fragments in both feet, and  making light of her “trauma” in subsequent music releases . As a result, she said she had “not experienced a single day of peace” since the shooting.

“He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma,” Megan wrote. “He tried to position himself as a victim and set out to destroy my character and my soul.

“He lied to anyone that would listen and paid bloggers to disseminate false information about the case on social media. He released music videos and songs to damage my character and continue his crusade.”

Recently, Tory Lanez’s team has been dropping tracks from his vault. The newest releases, “Girls In The Room” and “L.M.B.B,” showcase his signature R&B style.

In “Girls In The Room,” recorded in 2020, Tory Lanez sings about being a more suitable partner for a woman who is with someone else. While some of his lyrics may seem obsessive and controlling, his intense, youthful vocals are alluring enough to captivate those who are easily swayed.

“L.M.B.B,” a 2018 track, showcases Tory Lanez expressing relief after ending a relationship. The song has an upbeat tempo, includes both high-pitched and mellow vocal moments, and features a highly catchy chorus.

Megan Thee Stallion faced some pretty traumatic times after she was shot in the foot by Tory Lanez . Still, there are those out there who are on Lanez’s side, and when some of those folks tried to rattle Meg recently, she didn’t give them the satisfaction.

In a video that can be seen here , Megan is leaving some sort of public establishment as people around her say/shout, “Free Tory.” Meg, though, was seemingly unbothered as she put her hand over her mouth and made a sassy grimacing facial expression.

In her statement for Lanez’s sentencing in 2023, Meg wrote to the judge in part , “I want you to know that since I was viciously shot by the defendant a little over three years ago, I have not experienced a single day of peace. I have been tormented and terrorized in every degree by the defendant. He not only shot me, he made a mockery of my trauma. […] He treated my trauma like a joke when I could have died that day. […] Today I beg this court to send a message to every victim of violence and fully hold the defendant accountable for his criminal conduct. This is a statement for all survivors that their lives matter and there is zero tolerance for the torture that accompanies violence. His crime warrants the full weight of the law.”

A small group of  Tory Lanez  fans in the U.K. recently taunted  Megan Thee Stallion  by screaming "Free Tory" at her as she walked by them.

On Thursday (July 18), a video clip emerged online of Megan Thee Stallion and individuals, potentially the rapper's entourage, being berated by a few Tory Lanez supporters. In the footage, which can be seen below, some bystanders screamed "Free Tory" at the Houston hottie as she walked by them after leaving an establishment in the U.K. Mid-way through the video, however, Megan covers her nose and looks at a person with disgust after she hears them say "Free Tory Lanez mane." W hile Megan Thee Stallion 's star continues to shine with a new album and another viral song , the rapper may never escape Tory Lanez 's incessant fans.

The "Mamushi" rapper was recently heckled by Tory's supporters. And this time, the haters were outside. Here's what happened and how Megan reacted.

On Wednesday, July 17, Megan was spotted out with a friend during the U.K. stop of her Hot Girl Summer tour. They exited an outing as Megan strolled through the crowds in a yellow graphic top, shorts, and furry boots. As they were walking, Tory's fans yelled "Free Tory Lanez, Mayne" at her, with one user recording the event on his phone and adding the words "Free Tory" to their video's caption.

Megan continued walking away from the venue but eventually reacted once she noticed what the crowd was chanting. After hearing the person yell "Free Tory," Megan instantly turned up her nose and covered it, showing how disgusted she was by the thought of her attacker being free.

Several outlets, including The Shade Room, posted the video on social media, sparking fans to respond. Amid the comments from those agreeing with the fans were people outraged and jumping to Megan's defense.

"Doing all that And he’s still in jail!!! Nanny nanny boo boo," one user commented.

"She been told y’all to book a conjugal visit," another said, referring to Megan's song, "Hiss."

"I’m convinced that the reason why so many men protect and defend violent men and predators is because they see themselves in them," another added.

Tory is currently serving 10 years in a California state prison. Since his conviction, he has yet to apologize to Megan for shooting her in the foot in July 2020.
