Cottage Park Yacht Club

Founded in 1902, the Cottage Park Yacht Club is a boating center situated in Boston Harbor. Our club’s mission is to foster a sense of community and promote social culture among boating enthusiasts in the surrounding area. While over 40% of our membership are boat owners, the Cottage Park Yacht Club is truly an organization that embraces family and community participation by offering various activities beyond boating, such as candlepin bowling leagues, dart league, billiards, social functions, adult and youth sailing programs, family dinners, and book club. Whether you’re an experienced sailor, just getting started, or not a sailor at all, we have something for everyone.

The windy Russian autumn weather might be a little bit tricky for sailing, but it doesn’t stop brave yachtsmen from all over the world from flocking to Russian capital in the beginning of September when the Moscow Yacht Show commences. The main Russian Yacht exhibition gathers professional and amateur yacht lovers together under the wing of The Royal Yacht Club.

This year it took place for a fourth time already. The exhibition is considered the principal event on the sporting and social calendar. The Moscow Yacht Show 2010 united in one area three of the largest Russian yachts distributors: Ultramarine, Nordmarine and Premium Yachts.

A wide range of yachts were on display for a week. An exhibition showcased yachts both from Russian manufacturers and world famous brands: Azimut, Princess, Ferretti, Pershing, Riviera, Doral, Linssen, etc.

It was a real feast for seafarers as visitors of the show had a unique chance not only to take a look at the newest superyachts before they hit the market, but also to evaluate their driving advantages during the test drive. The show provided an excellent opportunity for yacht enthusiasts to choose and buy a new boat for the next season.

The event started with the grandiose gala evening. It included grand dinner, the concert and professional awards ceremony for achievements in Russian yachting industry. The guests also enjoyed the annual regatta.

Special guest Paolo Vitelli, Azimut Benetti Group president, opened the evening.

Next year organizers assured guests they would bring more yachts, the scale of which will even make oligarch Roman Abramovich envious. Sounds very promising indeed.

My family and I came here for a party and wow, it was a nice yacht club. As we walked in, it was very spacious, and we loved the wood interior. I was surprised to see that there was a bowling alley there , that was pretty cool. I would have never expected that at all. Overall, I enjoyed spending time with my family and watching the views of across the way at the airport . It's too bad that there was nasty weather outside so that I could have seen the city of Boston. I am sure it looks beautiful in the summertime.

Logan Airport was across the way and loved seeing the planes come in and out.

I absolutely love how they converted this and made it a light.

Love this Yacht Club. It's so fun and inviting. Our Squantum Yacht Club youth sailors race every year with them in their wonderful Make A Wish Regatta. For any youth sailors looking for another great regatta, Squantum Yacht Club's Lipton Cup is not to be missed www.squantumyc.org/lipton-cup-regatta

Very awesome. I have been a member at this yacht club for a while, and I have nothing to say but positive things about it. The food is excellent. It is always so fresh and I cannot get enough of it. You also get perks when you are a member and those are redeemable for food and or drinks at the Pilot House. The youth sailing program is excellent, and you can go for the summer. You also can store a kayak in the docks, which is another perks. There are plenty of slips for your boats and always room. The staff are very nice and so are the bartenders. They are always willing to help with all your needs. The place is always very tidy and clean and there is never a mess in sight. The bathrooms are also sparkly clean. The hall is absolutely stunning and is a gorgeous spot for a function or gathering. There is also a bowling alley. You can rent it or rent a lane for a party or have it part of your function. The Lobster Dinner is always nice, and is a very nice night. 100% recommend for you to become a member if you live in Winthrop or even East Boston and Revere.

Temporary Slip Rental

The Cottage Park Yacht Club offers Temporary Slip Rental to it’s members who do not have seasonal slips. These rentals are on a space available basis. You can rent the slip for as long as you desire, provided that there is space available. To allow equal time for all who have no slips, you may be asked to empty your slip in order to make space for another member, who has not been in yet. Since all slips have seasonal owners who may bring in their boats, and there may be more requests than available slips, you will have to be ready to move your boat within 24-48 hours of notification. Requests have increased this year than prior seasons, so please call and reserve well ahead of your planned dates. Requests are made through the Wharfinger. Full rental policy here .
