‘Sea Dreams’ is a 131.99ft  /40.23m  motor yacht, custom built in 1995 by Northcoast Yachts and last refitted in 2011. The yacht was previously named Life’s Finest II, and her stylish interior design is by Robin Rose & Associates and her exterior design is by Northcoast Yachts.

Sea Dreams’s spacious interior layout sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom, 2 double cabins and 1 twin cabin. She is easily capable of carrying up to 6 crew members onboard to ensure you and your guests enjoy the most exquisite charter experience, making use of the superyacht’s impressive amenities. Her interior design is immaculate, and she has a really stylish feel throughout.

A deck Jacuzzi is just perfect for relaxing with friends and family, while taking in the breath-taking views after a long day of exploration.

Sea Dreams can sleep up to 12, with use of sofa bed in Sky lounge, preferably for Nanny or Children. This guest has to share shower with one of the guest staterooms. $2,000 per additional guest after 10. For pick up/ drop off in Staniel Cay, delivery is $3,200. For week long charters, the owner may consider waiving it. DAY CHARTERS: $12,300 for 10 guests and $160 for each additional guest. They can carry up to 12 guests for day charters. *Rate includes: Continental Breakfast, Surf and Turf Lunch, Snacks, Open Bar and Beverages - Dockage at Yacht Haven Grand is also included but transportation from Atlantis to Yacht Haven is charterer's expense.

Captain: PETER VASQUEZ

Captain – Peter Vazquez Cuban/American Peter has owned and operated a variety of yachts for both private and charter use. As well as managing several yachts for his clients through the years, Peter has 30 years of experience in the Corporate Aviation field as a Pilot and Aviation Manager. With his partner of 19 years, Kim, he has had the opportunity to travel throughout Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, South America and the Caribbean. His high-energy personality and enthusiasm for entertaining guests has earned him the nickname Energizer Bunny. Whether he is teaching you to water-ski, dive or ride the Blaster, Peter will ensure that your voyage aboard Sea Dreams will be memorable. Peter holds a 200/500 Ton USCG Master License and is fluent in Spanish and dabbles with French. Mate – Peter Nelson South African Growing up on the East Coast of Southern Africa, Peter’s love for the ocean started at an early age. Fueled by his passion for fishing, he soon started exploring the underwater world. He became a Dive Instructor at the age of 18, and from there, worked in many exotic locations around the world including the Maldives, Cayman Islands, Oman and South Africa. He ran his own Dive and Whale watching charter business in South Africa for 5 years before joining the Yachting Industry in 2009. Since then, he has sailed the Caribbean, Bahamas and the Mediterranean extensively. Peter is also a kite-surfing instructor, avid fly-fisherman and passionate surfer. If it’s time on, or under the water you are looking for, you are in good hands! Chief Stewardess – Amanda Kaczay American Amanda was born and raised on the beautiful and often challenging shores of Lake Erie, in Bay Village, Ohio. She spent her summers boating, exploring and enjoying the lake and nearby islands. She went to The University of South Carolina to get her degree in business management and marketing, but it was her minor degree in fashion merchandising that served to launch her career in fashion retail management. After five years in the retail industry Amanda was in need of a change and joined her first motor yacht as a Stewardess. After working for two years she pursued her passion for Scuba Diving and travelled to Utila, Honduras to complete her Divemaster and Instructor courses. Since being certified as an Instructor, Amanda spent time teaching at Sea Saba in Saba, Netherland Antilles in the Caribbean and now works as a freelance Scuba Instructor on motor yachts based out of Nassau, The Bahamas. Amanda is a very easy-going person and quick to make guests feel at home. She also enjoys other water activities such as kayaking, surfing, spearfishing and paddleboarding. 2nd Stewardess – Lore Castillo Chilean Lore was born and raised in Chile and gained a desire for traveling and discovering new cultures when she was 15 years old. Lore moved to America for two years where she graduated from high school in New York. Lore has a Masters Degree in Psychology but decided to leave it aside for a while and move to Australia where she discovered the industry of yachting and then decided to move to Fort Lauderdale to give it a real shot. Lore has a bubbly, outgoing personality and will make guests feel welcome and at home. In her free time Lore likes to cook, go hiking and has a love for the water and paddleboarding. Engineer – Sam Wheaton Australian Originally from Australia, Sam studied Business at the University of Newcastle and University of Wisconsin. After growing up on a farm, Sam has always enjoyed working with machinery and equipment. His real passion is fishing and when he found a way to combine the two, he jumped at the chance and began working as a engineer 5 years ago. He enjoys almost all sports and can easily spend a whole Sunday playing golf. Chef – Martin Snyman South African Martin was born in South Africa. From a very young age he was busy in the kitchen helping his mom and grandma cook. At the age of 9, he cooked his first meal for his whole family and that’s where it all started. He finished school and went to study at Keven Warwick Chef School. After studying, Martin got the chance to go work with Peter Temphelhoff, one of South Africa’s top chef at the 5Th best restaurant in South Africa, called Grande Provence. Its located in the beautiful wine valley of Francshhoek. He then went on and help opened a Restaurant called Freedom Hill. Martin really wanted to travel and learn more about food and decided in 2010, to start his yachting career and he never looked back. Martin has traveled to the Caribbean, Canada, New England and the Med.

The 40m/132ft luxury yacht ‘Sea Dreams’ is offering an eight-day charter for the price of seven or a reduced rate of $74,500 for a week-long booking on August charters in the Bahamas .   

Launched in 1995 by US shipyard Northcoast Yachts, Sea Dreams boasts classic lines, a timeless interior, and wonderfully appointed deck areas designed for relaxing, entertaining and dining.

Based year-round in the Bahamas , she offers unforgettable yacht charters in the Exumas – one of the most idyllic island chains in the world with sapphire blue waters and footprint free beaches. What’s more, she has access to the beautiful private island Leaf Cay.

Views of the brilliant surrounds are best taken in from her sundeck, where a six-person Jacuzzi and lounge area invite guests to unwind in the glorious sunshine while docked in a secluded bay or anchorage.

Enjoy barbecues on the upper deck aft, equipped with a large alfresco dining table, or take advantage of the second outdoor eating area on the aft deck, capable of hosting up to 12 guests.

Following a 2011 refit, the interior of charter yacht Sea Dreams now benefits from sophisticated styling thanks to Robin Rose and Associates. Rich dark mahogany is offset by soft neutral tones, creating a classic and elegant atmosphere.

A lounge in the main salon is formed by sumptuous leather-upholstered sofas and armchairs, and a formal dining option is located further forward. One deck above, the skylounge is a great place to enjoy cocktail evenings with friends or family.

The motor yacht is able to sleep up to 10 guests in five staterooms, comprised of a master suite with a Jacuzzi tub, three VIP staterooms and one twin stateroom.

Yacht Charter Bahamas: Sea Dreams Offers Private Island Access, Short-Term Charters

The 132-foot Northcoast Sea Dreams is offering several unique options for charter clients in the Bahamas this summer.

First is access to a private island called Leaf Cay. It’s about two miles west of Staniel Cay in the Exumas archipelago and is the only private island there with shorepower provided by silent underwater cable. That means complete quiet (except for the rustle of palm fronds in the breeze) as you relax on your charter yacht or at one of the island’s private villas or private beaches.

“A charter yacht with access to a private island is a rarity, and Leaf Island really is spectacular,” says Yachtstore charter broker Gina Robertson. “The owners include golf carts for exploring, beach chairs for sunbathing, a tiki bar and grill for beach barbecues, and more. And if you don’t want to go back to the yacht until after sundown, you can enjoy the air-conditioned amenities in the villas onshore. It’s the best of both worlds.”

The second unique option that Sea Dreams offers is bookings that are less than a week long. Corporate and private clients alike can book the yacht for just a few days at a time, at a prorated day-charter rate.

“What’s great about Sea Dreams for shorter charters is that the yacht is based year-round in the Bahamas, so the captain really does help guests make the most of their time onboard,” Robertson says. “He knows exactly where to go no matter how many days a charter lasts or how much time there is to cruise.”

SeaDream I (1984-built as "Sea Goddess I", last refurbished in 2022 January, planned refurbishment in 2024 April) is the first of two identical-design top luxury superyachts - together with SeaDream 2 . The cruise line SeaDream Yacht Club is a private (family-owned) company established in 2001. The SeaDream 1 ship was previously chartered to Sea Goddess Cruises (1984-1998), and also to the Cunard and Seabourn lines (1999-2001).

SeaDream I cruise ship deck plan has a total of 56 staterooms for 94 passengers (max capacity is 112 guests) served by 100 crew/staff. The boat has 6 decks (5 passenger-accessible, 3 with cabins), 2 restaurants, 2 lounges and bars, 1 swimming pool, 3 Jacuzzies (outdoor whirlpool hot tubs), retractable Marina (aft/stern watersports platform), 1 elevator, Infirmary (medical facility / hospital and pharmacy with a resident doctor onboard).

SeaDream 1 is a top-luxury cruise yacht operated with all-inclusive deals. The list of all complimentary amenities and services features:

• 5-star resort amenities in cabins: smart UHDTV, CD/DVD player, iPod dock station, well-stocked minibar (complimentary), Bvlgari luxury bath amenities, mirrored vanity table, two twins or queen bed with deluxe bedding and pillow menu, logo-embroidered pajamas, terry bathrobes, slippers, hairdryer, personal safe.
• Open Bar throughout the ship (all drinks are included in the fares, excepting only premium alcohol and wines), with daily changing fine wines selection at lunch and dinner.
• Complimentary Wi-Fi Internet, laptop computers and powerful binoculars (both for onboard usage only), onboard mountain bikes are offered complimentary on shore excursions. When the boat is anchored, guests can rent some of the onboard Segways (nominal fee applies).

All guests can enjoy a complimentary 24-hour available in-room dining and 24-hour room service, twice a day housekeeping, complimentary laundry, and ironing.

Special events and parties on the yacht can be designed by the SeaDream Cruise Director onboard.

SeaDream 1 refurbishments review

In 2022 (January and May), SeaDream conducted a USD 10 million (EUR 8,8M) drydock refurbishment project for both yachts at Navalrocha Ship Repair Lisbon  (Portugal).

Works included full-scale renovations of all staterooms (new furniture, hardware, textiles, wardrobes, electrical upgrades / USB charging ports, Wi-Fi, fingerprint sensor lights, 55-inch smart HDTVs), all outside deck spaces (premium teakwood flooring, premium mahogany Balinese beds and sun loungers, Loro Piana upholstery and cushions, Frette towels, TUUCI parasols and hammocks), upgraded cabin amenities (woven lines, silk pajamas, silver ice buckets, GioBagnara Miramar trays).

Forward on Deck 6 (Sundeck's sunbathing area) were installed 2x new Jacuzzies and 2x new rain showers.

The aft-located/stern Marina Platform was also upgraded.
