Goodtime i to kelleys island.

Before we get the screws turning on the boats, let’s get our sea legs back! The Goodtime I will be taking all participating Point Yacht Club members and their guests* on an adventure to Kelleys Island for an afternoon cruise. Please join us as we kick off the 2018 boating season! Not a member of the Point Yacht Club and want to come along? We have special pricing for you (see below). Schedule of Events:

Boarding time: 10:45am at Cedar Point Marina fuel docks.

Departure from Cedar Point: 11:00 am ***Arrive at Kelleys Island: 12:00 pm

Boarding time from Kelleys: 3:45 pm ***Departure from Kelleys: 4:00 pm

Arrive back to Cedar Point at 5:00pm Entertainment to and from Kelleys Island will be provided by Jimmy Jack of the Jimmy Jack Band

APYC is affiliated with three main boating organizations on Lake Erie: Associated Yacht Club (AYC), The Greater Cleveland Boating Association, (GCBA) and Inter-Lake Yachting Association (I-LYA) These memberships provide many benefits to our members. This allows you to travel to other marinas and get discounted dockage. The host members will welcome you with open arms and make you feel like one of their own. In addition, these organizations represent the interest of boaters with governments at local, state, and federal levels.

Harbor Bay Yacht Club

Organized in 1995, Harbor Bay Yacht Club is a fixture of the local boating community in Sandusky. Members enjoy 24-7 access to the clubhouse, which features a TV lounge, kitchen, and grills for cooking out. The Club hosts a number of events year-round, including group cruises, social gatherings, races, and more.

Lake Erie Fishing

Even though it’s the shallowest of the Great Lakes, Lake Erie’s waters are teeming with fish of all species and sizes ripe for the catch. You may have heard it called the “Walleye Capital of the World” by other anglers, and it’s true–you’d be hard pressed to find a spot where you can snag a bigger walleye than here. And there’s more–yellow perch, bass, trout, and salmon all make their home in these varied waters. Book a local charter to take you to where they’re biting and you’re sure to have a fun and successful trip.

Kelleys Island

The largest of Ohio’s Lake Erie Islands, Kelleys Island’s gorgeous natural setting provides the perfect quiet getaway. Visitors enjoy birdwatching, hiking along the coastline, exploring in kayaks, hunting for shells on the sandy beach, and observing the world’s largest and most fascinating glacial scoring. Cedar Point

Complimentary shuttle service to and from downtown Sandusky is available for Safe Harbor members on Fridays and Saturdays.
