I have bought and sold a half dozen boats during my boating years. This time, after interviewing four Vancouver Island brokers, I chose Freedom Marine Yacht Sales Shawn Dunand to sell my 44' power boat. I was most happy with what he did for us. He was honest with me and with prospective buyers. And despite having numerous other active clients I never felt like he was giving my boat and me anything but his undivided attention. The boat was priced properly and we had a few competing bids. So the boat quickly sold for a fair price. I never saw Shawn take a full day off. To say that I am happy with Shawn's professional services is a major understatement. I recommend that you talk to Shawn to see what he could do for you.

As long time boaters we have dealt with many yacht brokers and service people over the years. The folks at Freedom Marine, in particular Shawn Dunand, stand above the rest. After purchase service has been outstanding. Any problems or concerns have been taken care of in a timely and professional fashion, allowing us to spend more time on the water and not at the dock.

This is an outstanding team of guys. I have used them exclusively for the last few years working with Mike Murdoch. I purchased or sold 4 boats with him, 7 transactions in all including a boathouse! 2 of the boats well in the 7 figure bracket. Buying a boat is not without risk, and you need a knowledgeable, honest, and detail-minded person on your side. Mike was it. A wealth of experience, and a great guy to spend some time with. I've met most of his teammates at one time or another and they are all similar. These guys are a class act.
