The 77.8m/255'3" motor yacht 'Energy' was built by Amels in the Netherlands. Her interior is styled by French designer design house Zuretti and she was delivered to her owner in June 2022. This luxury vessel's exterior design is the work of Espen Oeino.

Guest Accommodation

Energy has been designed to comfortably accommodate up to 14 guests in 7 suites. She is also capable of carrying up to 27 crew onboard to ensure a relaxed luxury yacht experience.

Onboard Comfort & Entertainment

Her features include beauty salon, underwater lights, beach club, deck jacuzzi, WiFi and air conditioning.

Range & Performance

Energy is built with a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, with teak decks. Powered by twin diesel MTU (16V 4000 M73L) 3,046hp engines, she comfortably cruises at 12 knots, reaches a maximum speed of 17 knots with a range of up to 5,000 nautical miles at 13 knots. She was built to Lloyds Register ✠ 100A1 SSC Yacht, Mono, G6 ✠ LMC UMS classification society rules.

Motor Yacht

Energy is a custom motor yacht launched in 2022 by Amels in Vlissingen , Netherlands.

AMELS are masters in the art of modern Dutch high-value yacht building. The yard is the largest superyacht facility in the Netherlands and one of the top superyacht builders in the world. In 2005 AMELS launched the successful LIMITED EDITIONS and delivered the first yacht of the series in 2007. The shipyard also specialises in the build of full-custom superyachts, with the in-construction Project Signature due to become the largest superyacht ever built in the Netherlands upon her scheduled launch in 2025.

Energy measures 77.8 metres in length, with a max draft of 3.8 feet and a beam of 14.00 feet. She has a gross tonnage of 2,885 tonnes.

For over twenty-five years Espen Oeino International has been hard at work designing custom motor yachts for an international clientele from Japan in the East to Seattle in the West.

Her interior design is by Zuretti.

Energy also features naval architecture by Damen Yachting.

Performance and Capabilities

Energy has a top speed of 17.00 knots and a cruising speed of 13.50 knots. .

She also has a range of 5,000 nautical miles.

Accommodation

Energy accommodates up to 14 guests in 7 cabins. She also houses room for up to 26 crew members.

Amels is presently building a fully custom 78-meter superyacht which will be completed in 2021. The design is by Espen Oeino and it is not a Limited Edition build of the usual variety. Although not quite the same length as "Here Comes The Sun", this 78-meter will have a higher GT than her when completed.

It is interesting in the renders this yacht looks alot sleeker while the real thing looks quite bulky above the waterline. Similar angles used for optimal comparison.

Ill-proportioned even mini-van like; maybe the design gives it great utilitarian value. It certainly gives it enormous interior volume, like a mini-van. But, it's aesthetically challenged. There's not much elegance there at all. I guess that's on the designer and not Amels. Espen Oeino is always hit or miss for me and this is firmly in the miss category. It might be that upper-deck extension that seems out of place.

Yes, that might help. You can see so much of the main deck because of those large scallop cut-aways, the color is even more pronounced than normal. I'm sure the views from the inside looking out are great though. I also thought the promo shot they selected for their Instagram account - which is also posted above - was odd insomuch that it cut-off the rear quarter of the ship.

The first Amels 60 with hybrid power and propulsion technology has an Espen Øino exterior design. The yacht was delivered in the spring of 2022. It is not only the Espen Øino exterior that is shaping up. Winch Design was appointed to create the bespoke interiors.

54m Amels motor yacht Addiction sold

The 54.3-metre Amels superyacht Addiction has been sold with Nathan Farrelly of Edmiston introducing the buyer and Henry Goulding of Cecil Wright representing the seller.

Delivered in 2010, the Dutch-built steel and aluminium motor yacht was refitted in 2022. The Limited Edition LE171 was designed by Tim Heywood , with a trademark sweeping sheerline and bulging wingstations. Naval architecture is by Damen Yachting .

Her Nuvolari & Lenard and Boris Vervoordt interior includes accommodation for a party of 12 in five staterooms, looked after by a crew of 13. The 628GT yacht has a range of 4,500 nautical miles when cruising and a top speed of 15.5 knots.

Lying in Monaco, Addiction' s asking price was not disclosed.
