Bridgeview Yacht Club can accommodate up to 400 wedding guests in its picturesque indoor and outdoor event spaces. Their main indoor setting, The Pavilion, sports a timeless aesthetic with its crystal chandeliers, ceiling drapery, and large windows for plenty of natural light. Our photographers had a great time capturing this romantic wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club. The adorable couple got ready at home and exchanged vows in a church ceremony before heading over to the waterfront venue for photos. Elizabeth and Daniel chose the Pavilion room at Bridgeview Yacht Club which features a grand ballroom with walls of glass and fabric draped ceilings and eleven (yes 11) crystal chandeliers! The reception kicked off with a fun introduction for the wedding party and first dance by the newlyweds. Our videographers did a great job creating a romantic yet fun wedding trailer video for Elizabeth and Daniel that features footage of them getting ready, their ceremony and of course those amazing water views. Theresa & Rich’s New Year’s Eve wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club was a blast to capture! The adorable couple and their fantastic wedding party didn’t let the cold weather stop the party. To celebrate their winter wedding and the new year ringing in , the bridesmaids wore glittery gowns (all 13 of them) and white fur shawls! Bridgeview Yacht Club was sure to have the reception room set up and ready to go for the wedding celebration after their church ceremony and quick stop at their local bar for shots (how fun!). We are so glad we chose Lotus as our wedding photographer. When we photograph bridal party photos at Bridgeview Yacht Club we have a number of locations to use.  One of my favorite locations is their outdoor ceremony area. The white backdrop is the perfect location to use to take light and airy photos of you and your bridesmaids, the groom and his groomsmen as well as all of the bridal party together.  

Our goal is to show your true relationships with your bridal party.  Of course, we will take a traditional photo of everyone looking at the camera, but the best photos for us to take are ones where everyone is laughing and smiling.  These candid photos are a must-have for any wedding album.

Reception Detail Photos at Bridgeview Yacht Club

While you are enjoying your cocktail hour, we will be hard at work photographing all of your reception details.  Some of the things we will focus on are getting creative photos of your wedding cake, dais, centerpieces, card box, your menu with your names and wedding date on it, as well as any other details that help us tell the story of your wedding day.  When you are choosing images for your wedding album, these images help set the tone and tell the full story of our couple's wedding day.

Night-Time Wedding Photos at Bridgeview Yacht Club

During your wedding reception, there will be many great moments that we will photograph.  Your grand entrance into the main ballroom, your first dance, the best man and maid of honor speeches, your parent dances, cake cutting ceremony, garter and bouquet toss, and all of these moments should be photographed as candidly as possible.  These are wedding photography 101 staples of any wedding album.  But the one time during your reception where we would like to take posed create photos is when we photograph your night-time wedding photos.   Bridgeview Yacht Club looks fantastic at night and is the perfect setting to take creative night-time wedding photos on your wedding day.  In this image, we used the venue itself as the backdrop, but we also love to use their red truck and Ferris wheel in our night-time photo session.  All of these images should take no more than 10 minutes.  We try to take these as fast as possible so you can get back to dancing and having a great time at your wedding.

Everything you need to know about Bridgeview Yacht Club

Bridgeview yacht club rooms & features.

The Pavilion at Bridgeview Yacht Club is their grand ballroom. It is 5,500 sq ft and can host up to 375 guests on your wedding day. 

It comes fully equipped with 1 full bar and two rolling bars that the guests at your reception will love. 

The 11 crystal chandeliers and 640 ft dance floor are perfect for all of your wedding reception photos.  Such as bridal parties grand entrance, the newlywed's grand entrance, your first dance as husband and wife, your best man and maid of honor speeches, parent dances, cake cutting ceremony, and garter and bouquet toss. 

The State Room at Bridgeview Yacht Club is where they host their cocktail hour as well as welcome your guests prior to your reception. 

It is 7,500 sq ft and has beautiful views of its docks and waterfront pier.  

It also leads up to the bridal suite on the second floor which is called the Bridgeview Room. 

Bridgeview Room

The Bridgeview Room is their bridal suite.  When you walk up the beautiful spiral staircase you will see a huge crystal chandelier, as you make your way past that, you will notice the wall of windows overlooking the pier and docks. 

When we photograph weddings here, we always use this room to create stunning images of our couples together as well as their fun bridal party photos. 

The Courtyards is Bridgeview Yacht Club's outdoor ceremony location.  It can host up to 300 guests and is the perfect place to say your "I do's."

When we photograph your ceremony in the Courtyards, we love to go upstairs and get a beautiful photo of your entire ceremony from above.  Of course, we will take many candid photos of the first time the groom sees his bride-to-be for the first time in her wedding dress, as well as your vows, ring exchange ceremony and first kiss as husband and wife.  But we would also like to throw in a few create photos of this beautiful event space.  

I also love to use the Courtyards to take fun bridal party photos like the ones you see here.  The white backdrop is perfect for us to create the light and airy wedding photos that our couples love. 

The Docks at Bridgeview Yacht Club are why most couples choose this venue to host their wedding reception.  The photos we are able to take here are breathtaking.  When we photograph your wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club we will use the docks in a number of ways. 

I love to use this area to create creative and romantic photos of our couples together on their wedding day. The leading lines of the railing are symmetrical and look fantastic when photographed the right way. 

I also love to use the Docks to take fun and silly photos of the groomsmen and the groom as well as the bride and the bridesmaids.

The Spiral Staircase

The spiral staircase at Bridgeview Yacht Club is also a must-have for any Bridgeview bride.  It leads to their bridal suite and has a beautiful chandelier that photographs perfectly.  When I photograph a wedding at Bridgeview Yacht Club, I love going to the top of the staircase and have our couple in the center of the stairs, the leading lines of the spiral staircase frame the couple beautifully and are always requested for their wedding album.   

The Red Truck

The red truck is one of those spots that a lot of photographers don't know about. 

We use it for night time photos because of how the truck lights up at night. 

I love how the red of the truck compliments the bride's white wedding dress and the groom's tux.
