Project Titan will be the first raid in Ghost Recon Break Point and will be available for all players. Set in a volcanic island, players must work together to gain exclusive rewards and loot.

Terminator Live Event

The first Live Event will feature the infamous T-800 from the Terminator franchise, as it arrives to wreak havoc in Auroa. Completing these time-limited events will reward players with time-exclusive rare weapons & items.

Access To Year 1 Adventures & Rewards

Players who purchase the Year 1 Pass will gain full access to the 2 new upcoming adventures in Ghost Recon Breakpoint - Deep State & Transcendence. These adventures give additional hours of gameplay plus exclusive adventure rewards.

Early & Instant Access Of New Classes

Year 1 Pass owners will get instant & early access to unlock the latest incoming classes in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. This means players won't to spend Skill Points to unlock the new classes in the game.

Special Operation Forces Pack

Another perk that Year 1 Pass owners have is that they'll receive the Special Operation Forces Pack. This pack contains skins, Skell Credits, and items that are useful in the game.

Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Season Pass gets last mission pack with latest DLC

The latest Ghost Recon: Breakpoint DLC adds new missions for players to enjoy.

During the pre-show for the September 10 Ubisoft Forward, we learned more details about the latest DLC for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint. Titled Red Patriot, the DLC will add a new class, PvP maps, and other challenges for Ghost Recon: Breakpoint players to enjoy. These additions will be a part of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Title Update 3.0.

The September 10 Ubisoft Forward was home to several major announcements, but the Ghost Recon: Breakpoint Red Patriot news actually came during the pre show. Originally released back in 2019, the game was met with lukewarm reviews, including here on Shacknews. However, the game has received a steady flow of new content in the following year.

The Red Patriot follows a brand new story arc. “Red Patriot begins when Trey Stone asks Raven’s Rock, a Russian separatist group and their agents, the Bodarks, to plan attacks on US soil. Nomad is assigned a simple mission: take down everyone involved in Stone’s plan and the Bodarks. The Adventure will offer a branching storyline and optional mission objectives for a diversity of approaches.”

The Red Patriot story will be composed of 10 missions. Those that don’t own the season pass can play the first two missions for free, with the option to purchase the remaining eight later on. Season Pass owners will have immediate access to the full Red Patriot story.

The Red Patriot update will also add the Pathfinder class to Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, as well as new PvP maps and missions. The big 3.0 Title Update is set to hit Ghost Recon: Breakpoint on September 15 for current-gen consoles and PC.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint – Year 1 Intel and Purchasable Content

As the launch of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint approaches, we take an in-depth look at the content coming in Year 1, as well as the purchasable in-game content that will be offered.

In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint, our aim is to keep expanding the experience with exciting new challenges and content after launch.

With the addition of adventures, raids, new classes, special events, and more, there will be plenty of new opportunities to enjoy Auroa throughout our first year of support and beyond.

Year 1 will contain three episodes – Episode 1, Operation Greenstone, will begin right at launch.

AI Teammates

We’re still working on the AI Teammate implementation, and we’ll have more to share with you later in Year 1. Keep an eye out for updates along the way!

Operation Greenstone begins at launch – October 4, 2019 – and will run through January 2020. New content will release throughout the coming months leading up to Episode 2.

Project Titan is the first raid to come to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, bringing you to a volcanic island to test your skills against lethal opponents. The raids are a four-player co-op experience that is entirely free to play for all players, with exclusive rewards to obtain. New rules will heat things up each week as these fresh elements keep things interesting between bosses.

Live Events will feature special guests who will help Nomad tackle new terrible threats. A new Live Event will be available with each Year 1 Episode, and each will last one month.

Our first event features none other than the Terminator. A new narrative arc focuses on the T-800, who comes from the future to threaten Auroa and its inhabitants.

Completing these Live Event missions will provide you with new weapons, attachments, vehicles, and customization items.

If you miss a Live Event, you will still be able to play the main event story missions after it has passed; however, you will not be able to get the event-specific rewards – so make sure you check it out while it’s live!

The Engineer is the first class arriving in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint post-launch. The Engineer will be free for all users, but Year 1 Pass owners will get an instant unlock of the class, no Skill Points needed, as well as one-week early access.

Faction Missions

Each faction in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will evolve, starting at launch. Two narrative missions will begin every three weeks, allowing players to follow an evolving story.

Additionally, you will have access to 14 daily missions that pose new obstacles in the open world, bringing fresh tactical challenges every day.

Episode 1 will give consistent multiplayer updates to the intense action of Ghost War. These updates will include balancing and new maps.

February 2020–May 2020

New Adventure – Deep State

A new adventure called Deep State provides more than five hours of additional gameplay that expands the original story. The first hour or so is free for all players, and Year 1 Pass owners receive the entire adventure.

If you do not own the Year 1 Pass, you can join a friend who does own it in co-op to complete the entire mission. However, only Year 1 Pass owners will receive the exclusive adventure rewards.

Project Titan

Updates to our first raid, Project Titan, will be coming. We’ll have more information on the specifics closer to the release date.

Special Event

A new special event will bring new weapons, vehicles, and customization options.

A brand-new class will become playable for all users in PvP and PvE. Year 1 Pass owners will have instant unlock and one-week early access to this class.

With Episode 2, the factions in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will experience more evolution, expanding their narrative arcs.

Episode 2 will continue to add Ghost War maps and updates to keep things fresh! Starting in Episode 2, we’ll have special limited-time events where you can try out a new Ghost War mode or format.

June 2020–September 2020

New Adventure – Transcendence

Episode 3 will bring another adventure with more than five hours of gameplay and will introduce a new faction. The first hour is free for all players, and Year 1 Pass owners receive the entire adventure. As with the Episode 2 adventure, you are welcome to join a friend who owns the adventure in co-op to complete the entire mission; however, only those with the Year 1 Pass will get exclusive adventure rewards.

You can expect another special event to drop in Episode 3.

A new class comes to Episode 3, which will be usable in both PvP and PvE. Year 1 Pass owners will get instant unlock and one-week early access to this class.

New faction missions will offer more variety in Episode 3.

Episode 3 will continue to add updates and content for Ghost War, with new maps and events. We will have more information to share regarding Episodes 2 and 3 closer to their launch dates. Stay tuned!

PURCHASABLE CONTENT

We would like to dive into some details about purchasable in-game content options and what you can expect from this system in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

All weapons and attachments can be obtained by simply playing the game. Exclusive weapon blueprints will be cosmetic only.

YEAR 1 PASS

All Gold and Ultimate Editions of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will give you access to the Year 1 Pass, which can also be purchased individually. The Year 1 Pass will provide the following:

• Access to the two Year 1 adventures and their rewards (non-owners can be invited to play the entire mission)
• One-week early access to the three new classes and instant unlock
• Siren’s Call Mission coming day one
• Scorpio Scout | Quiet Blueprint
• 1400 Skell Credits to craft the blueprint once at Maria’s shop or a bivouac
• Covered ACH
• Crye G3 Combat Pants
• Cross Draw Vest

The currency system will be different from Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Wildlands. Our primary goal is to reward player engagement in the long term, right from launch.

All standard weapons and attachments can be obtained by playing the game! You also have the ability to gain instant access through the store. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will have two forms of currency:

• Skell Credits – Earned by playing the game or purchased with Ghost Coins. You will earn plenty of Skell Credits through in-game activities like looting, completing missions, playing Ghost War matches, etc.
• Ghost Coins – Purchasable with real money only. Used only to unlock a few exclusive cosmetic items and time savers, such as crafting materials, from the store.

Just by playing you will get:

• Skell Credits
• Weapon Blueprints
• Attachments
• Weapons and Gear
• Customization Options

You can use Skell Credits for:

• Crafting specific weapons
• Unlocking specific attachments
• Purchasing specific weapons and gear
• Unlocking specific customization items
• Unlocking specific vehicles

You can use Ghost Coins for:

• Exchanging for more Skell Credits
• Unlocking weapon blueprints automatically (you can find them in-game for free)
• Unlocking weapon attachments automatically (you can find them in-game for free)
• Exclusive customization options
• Exclusive vehicles
• Various time savers
• Rewards Booster

The majority of items in packs can be purchased individually if desired.

Time Savers

Crafting materials, to craft medicinal items or explosives, will also be available for purchase.

Skell Credit packs can be bought for purchasing items in the shop.

Battle Rewards Boosters will double your past and future Battle Points in Battle Rewards. This means you will be able to unlock rewards faster. The Battle Rewards Booster will start being available two weeks after launch and is purchasable with Ghost Coins.

BATTLE REWARDS

New to Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is the introduction of the Battle Rewards system.

• Players progress in Battle Rewards by earning Battle Points, which are obtained by completing faction missions or Ghost War matches.
• The number of Battle Points a player can earn in a day is capped.
• Each tier of Battle Rewards will provide access to exclusive rewards.
• Each Episode will have two separate phases (called Acts) of Battle Rewards. Each Act will offer a fresh set of 50 items to unlock.

Each Act will have milestone items that all players will get on that tier. The items granted in-between will be randomly selected from the pool of 50, minus the ones you have already received and the milestone items. You will not get duplicates and are guaranteed to get all 50 items if you reach each tier before the Act is completed.

Two weeks after launch you will be able to purchase a Rewards Booster using Ghost Coins for that Act if you want to gain the rewards more quickly. However, engaged players will always be able to unlock all of the tiers for free by earning enough Battle Points.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Year 1 Pass content and various game editions detailed

Ghost Recon Breakpoint releases on October 4, and there are various editions available for pre-order - there of which include the Year 1 Pass.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint was announced today alongside Year 1 content and various editions featuring extra goodies.

The Year 1 Pass will feature  two new adventures on the island of Auroa. These are called Deep State and Transcendence, and an additional mission at launch, Siren’s Call, will be available as well.

It also comes with one-week early access to three new character classes, which will be released throughout the year, and the Special Operations Forces Pack. This includes the Quiet DMR, Covered ACH, Crye G3 Combat Pants, and Cross Draw Vest.

Those who pre-order any edition of the game will gain access to the beta, and at release, unlock the Sentinel Corp. Pack.

This provides customers with three in-game exclusive items: the Valor assault rifle, the Sentinel Mk. 2 Assault set, and the Hammer Mk. 2 digital vehicle.

Pre-ordering the Ghost Recon Breakpoint Gold, and Ultimate Editions comes with three-day early access to the game starting October 1.

Ghost Recon Breakpoint: What Do you Get With The Year 1 Pass?

Ghost Recon Breakpoint has just been announced, and fortunately we already know when it's coming out. Due October 4, 2019, the next installment to the Ghost Recon franchise is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated titles of the year.

While the game won't be out for another five months, it's already available for pre-purchase on the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store. With four different editions and a whole lot of goodies, exclusives, and bonuses, everybody's scrambling to find out which edition gives them the best bang for their buck. If you're one such person, read our Ghost Recon Breakpoint Edition Guide to find out which edition is right for you.

Apart from the Standard Edition, which includes only the base game, the Gold Edition, Ultimate Edition, and Collector's Edition of Ghost Recon Breakpoint also give players instant access to the Year 1 Pass. But what exactly is the Year 1 Pass and what does it offer?

In the official Ghost Recon Breakpoint announcement, developer Ubisoft also mentioned some of its content plans for the game's first year after release. Currently, the Year 1 Pass will give players access to two planned DLCs called Deep State and Transcendence. These DLCs feature more content and story expansions, and will be released at different times during Year 1. Access to the Year 1 Pass will also enable users to play Siren's Call, a bonus mission to be released when the game launches in October. Year 1 Pass holders can also be able to get one-week early access to other content releases throughout the year, including the three new character classes planned for Year 1. Finally, Year 1 Pass holders will receive the Special Forces Pack, which includes the long-range rifle Quiet DMR, the Covered ACH weapon, Crye G3 Combat Pants, and the Cross Draw Vest.

If you're not sure whether you'll like Ghost Recon Breakpoint , getting an edition with the Year 1 Pass might be a bit of a gamble since you'll be spending more. After all, you can always purchase the Year 1 Pass separately once you know you enjoy the game, even though you'll be spending a little bit more than if you bought the Year 1 Pass along with the game in a bundle. However, if you think you will like Ghost Recon Breakpoint , then the Year 1 Pass is definitely worth it. Not only will you get a whole bunch of goodies alongside access to paid DLCs for Year 1, but you'll also save a moderate amount by purchasing any of the editions above Standard.

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint will break points no longer. At least, not any new ones.

In a statement published on the Ghost Recon Twitter account, publisher Ubisoft has announced that Breakpoint will no longer be updated. Servers, however, will remain active for both Breakpoint and its predecessor, 2017’s Ghost Recon Wildlands .

Breakpoint had a troubled launch, with criticism levied at the game for its focus on a more tiered loot-based gear system. This was at odds with the game’s history of more realistic tactical action, the sort that made Wildlands so popular.

The gear system was entirely discarded in 2020’s “Ghost Experience” update, making Breakpoint a better overall game and more like what fans expected — while also making it clear how Breakpoint was different from Ubisoft’s other tactical shooter, The Division 2 .

Like Wildlands , Ghost Recon Breakpoint received approximately two years’ worth of updates that added a wide variety of content. There’s currently no new Ghost Recon game on the horizon to replace it.

Breakpoint ’s last significant update was, ironically, Ubisoft’s first experiment with NFTs , back in December 2021.
