Saudi Arabia World Cup Players Rewarded With Rolls-Royce Phantoms
For beating Argentina, Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud gifted each player a $450,000 Phantom and the World Cup isn’t even over yet.

NicoDeMattia
In a stunning upset earlier this week, Saudi Arabia's World Cup soccer team beat Argentina. To reward the team for the impressive victory, according to HypeBeast , Saudi Arabia's Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud gifted each player a new Rolls-Royce Phantom .
For those of you who might not know how much a new Phantom costs, it starts at an eye-watering $450,000. However, there's no such thing as an entry-level Phantom. They're almost all made to exact, bespoke specifications and can easily cost hundreds of thousands of dollars more. The last 2023 Phantom I tested wore a sticker price of over $650,000. But let's say the Prince stuck with the absolute base-model Phantom. There are 26 players on a World Cup soccer team, which means the total cost of the team's Phantoms was around $11,700,000. All for winning just one game, because the World Cup is far from over.

Since beating Argentina, Saudi Arabia lost to Poland, 2-0, and has another match against Mexico on Wednesday, November 30. That puts the Saudi Arabian team in third place in its Group C standings, behind both Argentina and Poland. While Saudi Arabia beat Argentina, and both countries' teams have the same record, the latter has a better goal differential, so it's ahead in the standings. Which makes the choice to buy each player a new Phantom seem a bit premature. If Saudi Arabia doesn't advance further than this group, each player will still walk away with the most expensive Rolls-Royce model the public can buy.
Although, the Phantoms do act as consolation prizes if Saudi Arabia doesn't win the World Cup. Players will still go home with an incredibly luxurious car, one that will make them feel like royalty themselves. That's got to take at least some of the sting out of losing, if that's what ends up happening. On the flip-side, if Saudi Arabia does win the world cup, can you imagine the reward each player will get then? How do you top free Rolls-Royce Phantoms? Bugatti Chirons? Mega yachts ? Individual islands off coast of Fiji? I bet it would be islands.

FIFA World Cup 2022: Saudi Arabia team denies rumors of Rolls-Royce Phantom for upsetting Argentina
Saudi team says they have only won 'a game' and many more 'important' games are to be played this world cup.
A rumor that has gone viral on social media suggests that Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman is gifting each player of the Saudi Arabia soccer team a Rolls-Royce Phantom for their FIFA World Cup upset over Argentina. However, striker Saleh Alshehri and head coach Hervé Renard said there was no truth to it.
Saudi Arabia upset Argentina 2-1 on Nov. 22 thanks goals by Alshehri and Salem Aldawsari in the second half. Argentina held possession of the ball for 70 percent of the match and entered halftime with a 1-0 lead, but that wasn't enough to hold off Saudi Arabia's comeback efforts as it became the first team in Group C to get a win.
During a media conference, Alshehri was asked by a reporter about the Roll-Royce that he was allegedly getting and what color he was choosing. It wouldn't be a small gift: A Phantom model starts at close to $460,000. The player said the rumors were not true, and the reporter followed up with "it's a shame, right?" However, Alshehri was not in a joking mood.
"We are here to serve our country and do the best," he said. "So that's our biggest achievement."
Renard also answered and wanted to make sure it is clear his team is taking the competition seriously, and that they are still chasing more victories.
"We have a very serious federation. We have a very serious ministry of sport. It is not time to get something at this moment. We only won a game," the coach said . "We still have to get very important games, and we are hoping some more. There is nothing true about this comment. We've only played one game at the moment."
Saudia Arabia will be back on the pitch on 8 a.m. ET, Saturday against Poland, then again on Nov. 30 against Mexico. For a full schedule of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, click here.

Fact check: No, Saudi players weren’t given Rolls-Royces for World Cup win over Argentina

The claim: Saudi Arabia’s players will each get a Rolls-Royce for their World Cup win over Argentina
Saudi Arabia’s Nov. 22 victory over Argentina might be remembered as one of the biggest upsets in World Cup history. Some social media users claim that has yielded a financial boom for the players.
"Saudi team gets $460K Rolls Royces for upset win," reads a Nov. 25 Instagram post liked more than 4,000 times in five days. "Saudi Arabia's players will each receive a Rolls Royce Phantom for their historic World Cup upset over Argentina, courtesy of Saudi Prince Mohammed bin Salman."
But the claim is false. The team’s head coach and one of its players said this claim isn’t true, and there is no evidence to support it.
USA TODAY reached out to the social media user who shared the post for comment.

'Nothing true' about Rolls-Royce rumor, head coach says
Saudi Arabia striker Saleh Alshehri smiled as a reporter asked him whether he and his teammates were each gifted a Rolls-Royce Phantom for their win over Argentina.
The claim that players would get Rolls-Royces began circulating on social media shortly after the team's victory and was repeated without evidence over the next few days. British tabloids and other outlets gave the idea additional prominence by publishing articles about the players getting cars.
There are no credible reports, though, that the country's players were given Rolls-Royce Phantoms, and the team says it never happened.
“It’s not true,” Alshehri, who scored the first of his team's two goals in the match against Argentina, said at a Nov. 25 press conference. "We are here to serve our country and do the best, so that’s our biggest achievement."
Saudi coach Hervé Renard refuted the claim as well, saying "there is nothing true about this comment."
"It is not time to get something at this moment," Renard said. "We only won one game. We still have to get very important games, and we are hoping some more."
Fact check: Images of dirty locker room are from March soccer game, not Japan's World Cup match
Saudi Arabia's two goals happened in a five-minute span early in the second half and gave them a 2-1 lead that Argentina couldn't overcome.
After the victory, Saudi Arabia, which hasn't won a World Cup game since 1998, declared a national holiday for the day after the match, according to the New York Times .
PolitiFact also debunked the claim.
Our rating: False
Based on our research, we rate FALSE the claim that Saudi Arabia’s World Cup players will each get a Rolls-Royce for their win over Argentina. There are no credible reports that support the claim. Alshehri, a player on the team, and Renard, the team’s head coach, have both said the claim isn’t true.

BBC apologises for 'misleading' coverage of pro-Palestine protesters in UK
The BBC has received hundreds of complaints over its coverage of the conflict between Hamas and Israel.
Putin in China to meet 'dear friend' Xi
Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in China on Tuesday to meet his "dear friend" Xi Jinping and bolster their relationship at a summit that will be overshadowed by the Israel-Hamas war.China this week welcomes representatives of 130 countries for a forum of President Xi's vast trade and infrastructure Belt and Road Initiative (BRI).At the top of the guest list is Putin, who is on his first trip to a major global power since the Ukraine invasion threw his regime into international isolation. He is due to hold talks with Xi on the sidelines of the forum on Wednesday, the Kremlin said, with the war raging between Israel and Palestinian militant organisation Hamas looming large over the summit."During the talks, special attention will be paid to international and regional issues," the Kremlin said in a statement, without elaborating.Western countries led by the United States have rallied to Israel's side since October 7, when Hamas launched the deadliest attack in Israel's history, shooting, stabbing and burning to death more than 1,400 people, mostly civilians, in a shock offensive. The United States has asked China to use its influence to help de-escalate the war, which has seen more than a million people in the blockaded Gaza Strip flee their homes under the relentless bombardment that Israel launched in retaliation for the attack.China brokered an entente between key Hamas backer Iran and its regional foe Saudi Arabia earlier this year, and will send its Middle East envoy Zhai Jun to the volatile region this week.No details have been given about where or when exactly Zhai would travel, though China's state broadcaster CCTV has said he will push for a ceasefire and peace talks.Russia, which has traditionally maintained good relations with both Israeli and Palestinian authorities, has called for an "immediate ceasefire" in the conflict. In Beijing, Putin is on a mission to strengthen the already strong bond with his communist neighbour, though experts say Moscow is increasingly the junior partner in the relationship.China is Russia's largest trading partner, with trade between the nations reaching a record $190 billion last year, Beijing customs data shows.Beijing has drawn criticism from Western countries for its stance on the Ukraine war, on which China insists it is neutral even as it refuses to criticise Moscow for launching its invasion. While the BRI forum provides a fresh opportunity for Putin and Xi to showcase their alliance, experts do not expect any new major agreements to be announced."Russia is aware that China doesn't want to sign any high publicity deals," Alexander Gabuev, director of the Carnegie Russia Eurasia Center, told AFP."China holds all of the cards," he said.- Friends reunited -Xi kicked off the summit Tuesday with talks with Chilean and Kazakhstan Presidents Gabriel Boric and Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Chinese state media reported.Ahead of the forum, China and Russia's top diplomats were singing from the same song sheet when they met in Beijing on Monday.Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov thanked China for inviting Putin as the summit's "chief guest", according to a readout from Moscow, which later said the top diplomat would head to North Korea after Beijing.Putin and Xi will discuss the countries' ties "in their entirety" when they meet this week, Lavrov told Wang.Wang, in turn, said China "appreciates" Russia's support for the BRI. The two nations share a symbiotic alliance, with China appreciating Russia's role as a bulwark against the West, and Moscow increasingly reliant on Beijing's largesse in trade and geopolitical backing."Since Moscow embarked on its all-out invasion of Ukraine, it has been put in a position where it is unprecedentedly dependent on China," Bjorn Alexander Duben of China's Jilin University told AFP.At the heart of the deepening partnership is the relationship between Xi and Putin, who have described each other as "dear friends"."President Xi Jinping calls me his friend, and I call him my friend, too," Putin told Chinese state broadcaster CGTN ahead of his visit, according to a Kremlin readout.bur-oho/ser/smw

Saudi Arabia manager denies players will be given a Rolls-Royce Phantom each as reward for World Cup win over Argentina

Saudi Arabia manager Herve Renard has denied Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman promised players a Rolls-Royce Phantom each after their win over Argentina.
A public holiday was announced for the country after their shock 2-1 upset on Tuesday.

Saudi Arabia, ranked 51st in the world by FIFA, beat No.3 Argentina in their Group C opener, ending a 36-game unbeaten run .
Goals from Saleh Al Shehri and Salem Al Dawsari came after a Lionel Messi's opener in what was one of the all-time World Cup shocks.
Multiple reports had claimed Bin Salman has promised the squad a Rolls-Royce each, with prices for the luxury Phantom starting at £363,600.
That figure would've equated to £9.4million for Bin Salman, who reportedly has a net worth of $8billion.
However, the national team's manager insists the claims are false.
Renard said: “There is nothing true about this. We have a very serious federation and ministry of sport. It’s not time to get something at this moment.

Rolls-Royce Phantom for Saudi Arabia football players for win against Argentina
One of the biggest surprises at the ongoing FIFA World Cup was Saudi Arabia’s win over two-time world champions Argentina. Saudi Arabia won the match 2-1 against Argentina and this certainly shook the status quo for many. While a massive disappointment for fans of Argentina, Saudi Arabia has been revelling in the victory and it is surely paying off for the players. As per recent reports, each of the football players will receive a Rolls-Royce Phantom from the government for the historic feat.

UK-based Express reports that Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud will present each of the players with the Phantom himself when they return from Qatar. The victory saw the people of Saudi coming to the streets for celebrations, while Arab news suggest that the King announced a celebratory holiday in the country.
So just how much of a big deal is it for Saudi Arabia to win against Argentina? The latter is one of the strongest teams in the championship with both countries separated by 48 places in the world rankings. Argentina is also led by one of the biggest football players in history, Lionel Messi, and is a favourite among the football aficionados the world over. Prior to the win against Argentina, Saudi Arabia had only won three world cup games.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom then, is just the perfect way to show the government’s appreciation for its players. The flagship offering from the marquee British brand is hailed as the epitome of luxury on wheels. The Phantom Series II was unveiled earlier this year. The car packs a 6.75-litre naturally-aspirated V12 engine that develops 555 bhp and 900 Nm of peak torque. The engine is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission that sends power to the rear wheels. The Phantom VIII is quick despite its mammoth size and can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 5.1 seconds.
The Rolls-Royce Phantom comes with an adaptive suspension that aims to deliver the most comfortable ride while the cabin is covered in the best of leather, wood, and metal accents for an opulent feel. It also comes with a host of driver assistance systems. The Phantom is one of the most expensive cars in the world and prices in India are north of ₹ 8 crore (ex-showroom) before the customisation options kick in.

Business Leaders Confront a Dilemma Over ‘Davos in the Desert’
The Future Investment Initiative kicks off in Riyadh next week, with questions swirling over who will attend and who will drop out of the event.
By Andrew Ross Sorkin , Ravi Mattu , Bernhard Warner , Sarah Kessler , Michael J. de la Merced , Lauren Hirsch and Ephrat Livni

Will C.E.O.s risk going to Riyadh?
As President Biden prepares to visit Israel on Wednesday and diplomats work to ease a growing humanitarian disaster in the Gaza Strip, top C.E.O.s are confronting a tricky question: whether to attend the Future Investment Initiative, the high-profile conference in Saudi Arabia known as “Davos in the desert.”
The annual event, scheduled to start Oct. 24, is meant to promote the ambitious economic agenda of the Saudi crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman, and showcase his influence on global business titans. But deciding whether to go appears anything but straightforward.
The conference is set to feature prominent names, including BlackRock’s Larry Fink, Carlyle’s David Rubenstein, Goldman Sachs’s David Solomon, JPMorgan Chase’s Jamie Dimon and Standard Chartered’s Bill Winters. A spokeswoman for Winters said he was attending. Representatives for Dimon, Rubenstein and Solomon declined to comment about attending, and one for Fink didn’t respond to a request for comment.
For the attendees, it isn’t just about networking — it’s also effectively a kissing of Prince Mohammed’s ring. Saudi Arabia is a major client for the world’s biggest banks and industrial conglomerates, and has invested billions in high finance, media, sports and more.
Some executives are worried about the optics, pointing to an initial statement from Riyadh about the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks that appeared to blame Israel. The diplomatic normalization talks with Israel appear to be on hold, and the crown prince has reportedly begun talks with the Iranian government about preventing the conflict from metastasizing.
Meanwhile, Riyadh has been cool to U.S. efforts to restore calm and preserve progress made in the Saudi-Israeli talks. Prince Mohammed reportedly made Secretary of State Antony Blinken wait hours before meeting , and then called for a halt in the “current escalation” of the conflict.
“The headlines emerging from the region at this moment are not quite constructive,” Ayham Kamel, the head of the Eurasia Group’s Middle East and North Africa research team, told DealBook.
But attending may not be as fraught as in years past. A slew of top executives withdrew from the conference in 2018 after the killing of the journalist Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi agents. But the stigma of going has since lessened, amid Prince Mohammed’s public calls to modernize his kingdom’s economy and talk of normalizing relations with Israel. The kingdom’s billion-dollar economic diplomacy initiatives are also a big draw.
Many executives plan to go, for now. Some have suggested that attending would help encourage Saudi Arabia in its modernization push. And so far only two of some 5,000 attendees have dropped out, according to Reuters.
But everything could change if casualties in Gaza mount, putting pressure on Arab leaders to take a harder stance on Israel to placate their pro-Palestinian populations. (The crown prince may be able to resist that better than most: He “doesn’t seem to care about public opinion,” F. Gregory Gause III of the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University told DealBook.)
Any shift from the current Saudi approach could raise the stakes for corporate leaders, especially given how outspoken many have been in defending Israel over the past two weeks. At the same time, the Saudis will probably take note of which executives bail: “They will take it a bit personally,” Nader Hashemi, a professor of Middle Eastern politics at Georgetown, told DealBook.
For now, most executives are staying quiet, with some hoping that the crown prince will simply cancel the event. DealBook will keep you updated on developments throughout the week.
In related news: Palestinian supporters accused Facebook and Instagram of suppressing their posts ; Meta, the social networks’ owner, cited a technical issue.
The DealBook Summit will be held on Nov. 29. Jamie Dimon, C.E.O. of JPMorgan Chase, David Zaslav, C.E.O. of Warner Bros. Discovery, and Shonda Rhimes, television producer and head of Shondaland, are among the confirmed interviewees. You can register here to apply to attend.
HERE’S WHAT’S HAPPENING
Wall Street banks continue to report strong results. Goldman Sachs and Bank of America both reported better-than-expected quarterly earnings on Tuesday. Goldman was helped by a surge in trading revenues while Bank of America saw steady loan growth. Shares in both initially rose in premarket trading.
Representative Jim Jordan hopes to clinch the House speakership on Tuesday. The Ohio Republican has strong-armed dozens of party holdouts, leaving him around 10 votes shy of the 217 he needs to win the position ahead of a vote around noon Eastern. But a victory for Jordan may not meaningfully ease Washington’s legislative paralysis, with bills to rein in Big Tech among the initiatives likely to be put on hold.
Corporate giants continue to lay off thousands. Rolls-Royce plans to cut up to 2,500 jobs as part of an efficiency initiative at the British aerospace and defense company. And Microsoft’s LinkedIn will lay off 668 employees in its second round of cuts this year amid slowing revenue growth.
Donald Trump is under a second gag order. The judge overseeing a federal trial over the former president’s efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election ruled that he cannot make public statements attacking witnesses, federal prosecutors or court staff members, the second such order imposed on him this month. Trump faces potential fines or jail time for violating the gag order, though he’s free to disparage President Biden, the Justice Department and the judge.
China’s gloomy economic clouds
China’s $1 trillion Belt and Road Initiative was meant to be Xi Jinping’s signature foreign policy project to expand Beijing’s influence abroad. Instead, as the Chinese leader opens a B.R.I. summit on Tuesday , the program is hobbled by economic woes at home.
Belt and Road was intended to challenge Western power. Chinese banks extended loans to construct airports, roads, railways and more, and its state-backed firms built them in countries that had unsteady ties to the West. And Beijing did it without imposing some of the environmental and human rights rules that Western governments and multilateral lenders demanded. Instead, it sought political support.
But it hasn’t worked out as planned. Many of the projects were shoddily built , and dozens of poor countries are struggling to repay their debts, breeding resentment. The government is now focusing on smaller projects as it struggles to recoup the billions it lent under B.R.I.
Meanwhile, economic problems at home are mounting . After lifting severe Covid restrictions, many hoped it would unleash spending at home and lift global growth. That hasn’t happened. Official data published last week showed that China is flirting with deflation and that local governments are mired in debt.
The property sector is especially troubled. The industry has accounted for about a quarter of G.D.P. over the past decade. But developers are defaulting on billions in loans , including Evergrande, once the country’s biggest property firm. Last week, Country Garden warned it could be next.
The U.S. is expected to ramp up pressure on Beijing. The Biden administration will reportedly widen restrictions on the types of advanced semiconductors that American companies can sell to China. The tougher rules may also extend to other countries that export to China, further hampering Beijing’s high-tech ambitions, including in artificial intelligence.
Beijing is building new alliances. Vladimir Putin , Russia’s president, will attend the B.R.I. summit, only his second overseas trip since March. The visit highlights growing ties after Moscow’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Trade between the countries has soared 30 percent in the first nine months of this year. Beijing and Moscow have also adopted a common front on the Israel-Hamas war , firmly at odds with the U.S. and many other Western governments: both have held back from directly criticizing Hamas after it attacked Israel.
“It should be Ford and the U.A.W. against Toyota, Honda, Tesla and all the Chinese companies that want to enter our home market.”
— Bill Ford Jr. , the great-grandson of Henry Ford, the company’s founder. A veteran of labor disputes, Ford sees this one as potentially damaging to the company’s ability to invest in new technologies and expand in the market for electric vehicles.
“Reeked of excess”
Nishad Singh, the latest star witness to take the stand in the criminal fraud case against the FTX founder Sam Bankman-Fried, testified on Monday that his former boss had used customer funds to partly pay for expenses that “reeked of excess.”
Singh is the third member of Bankman-Fried’s inner circle to testify against him. The testimony by Singh, a former top FTX engineer who has known Bankman-Fried since high school, comes after that of Caroline Ellison, a top lieutenant and Bankman-Fried’s former girlfriend, and Gary Wang, a co-founder of the FTX crypto exchange. They have detailed how the firm, under Bankman-Fried’s direction, sank under bad bets, leaving depositors and business partners out billions.
Prosecutors accuse Bankman-Fried of using customers’ money to plug holes in FTX’s indebted sister hedge fund, Alameda Research, but also to make political contributions, venture capital investments and real estate purchases. Bankman-Fried has pleaded not guilty.
Here are some of the most revealing details from Singh’s testimony:
Alameda had a $13 billion hole in its finances , Singh recounted Bankman-Fried informing him. The admission occurred on the balcony of the Bahamas penthouse that became the company’s headquarters, pictures of which the prosecution shared with the court .
Bankman-Fried and FTX went on a lavish spending spree . Other than the Bahamas villa, this included investments in start-ups, and big money endorsements for celebrities and sports stars like Tom Brady, Steph Curry and Larry David. “I felt embarrassed and ashamed,” Singh said of a several hundred-million-dollar investment in K5, an investment firm led by Michael Kives, a former Hollywood agent.
Another tantalizing trial detail: Bankman-Fried’s defense raised the possibility that the fallen crypto mogul would testify. But they’re concerned that he cannot get enough Adderall, a drug used to treat depression and A.D.H.D., while in jail. They say that could prevent him from being able to “meaningfully participate.”
Elsewhere in crypto: Bitcoin briefly soared roughly 10 percent on Monday, hitting its highest level since July, after a now-retracted Cointelegraph report that the S.E.C. had approved an application by BlackRock, the huge Wall Street fund manager, for a Bitcoin spot exchange traded fund.

Is the Saudi Prince gifting a Rolls-Royce to each player of his World Cup team?
by Kate Bain | Published on 24th Nov 2022

Bad news… if you’re a Saudi Arabia player.
As it turns out, the Prince didn’t actually gift a Rolls-Royce to each player of the Saudi Arabia World Cup team.
The rumor began spreading after Saudi Arabia defeated Argentina 2 – 1 in the World Cup but, as confirmed by Fact Crescendo , it was indeed just a rumor.
However, the Prince was so stoked with the victory that he declared a national holiday to celebrate the win.

The rumor was that Saudi Arabian Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud was going to give each player in the World Cup team a brand new $450,000 Rolls Royce Phantom.

However, the player themselves denied this was true.
Twitter still blew up, though.
One said: “Wow, for winning a match? What if they win the cup?”

People are also talking about Saudi Arabia manager Hervé Renard.
Partly because he has a long track record of winning trophies with underdog teams, but also because he looks like an actor.
Specifically, fans are saying he looks like Jaime Lannister (Nicolaj Coster-Waldau) from Game of Thrones.
Hervé Renard, el Matarreyes pic.twitter.com/T60kk0KF3u — Manu Heredia (@ManuHeredia21) November 22, 2022
Renard also took to Twitter to dedicate the win to the people of Saudi and to rally their support for the next match.
“Thanks to all the Saudis for the show yesterday,” he said.
“Congratulations to the team and the staff for this game, I dedicate this victory to the Saudi people. We are waiting for your support next match!”

Where does the rumor come from?
The rumor is believed to stem from the 1994 World Cup when Saudi Arabia made it to the second round despite being one of the lowest-ranked teams.
After the team arrived back home, the king gifted a Rolls-Royce to striker Saeed Al-Owairan for scoring a goal against Belgium.
So, while there is no official word from Saudi Arabia, we’re certainly waiting with bated breath to find out if history will repeat itself.

Saudi Arabia’s Players Rewarded One Of The Most Expensive Cars In The World After Huge World Cup Upset Win Over Argentina

Saudi Arabia’s win over two-time FIFA World Cup champions Argentina 2-1 at the Lusail Stadium in Qatar was one of the biggest surprises this year. Many called Argentina’s defeat as the biggest upset in World Cup history.
Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud was so proud of the players on the Saudi Arabia soccer team that he is rewarding them greatly for their win.
They will be presented with a Rolls Royce by the country’s royal family after the stunning win. It is said that Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud will present each of the players with an RM6 million Rolls Royce Phantom when they return from Qatar.

2023 Rolls Royce Phantom … Here’s what we Know So Far

The 2023 Rolls Royce was caught roaming the streets again wearing camouflage covering some parts of the body, and the company’s intention is still not clear to us, but we can clearly see the new headlights’ internals and the new exterior color.

We are expecting a 2023 model appearing later this year with the BMW 7-Series technologies, and eventually, we expect to see the aerodynamically enhanced Spirit of Ecstasy mascot.
There are no speculations around a new powertrain, as we are still very much impressed by the twin-turbocharged 6.75-liter V-12 engine the current model has, which is connected to an 8-speed automatic transmission that transfers the 563 hp and 900 Nm of torque.

Later on, Rolls Royce might introduce a fully electric version of the Phantom, but not before the company becomes fully electric in 2030, and if you remember clearly, we previously mentioned the first Rolls Royce EV called Spectre , which will start sales in 2023.
