All Jobs possess Link Skills, skills that can be shared with other characters of yours in the same world to give them a power boost. The skills' effects are always applied to the character themselves and, once you reach Lv. 70, you can choose another one of your characters within the same world to transfer the corresponding skill.

When your linked character reaches Lv. 120, the effects get upgraded and you can receive the effects of Lv. 2.

• Cygnus Knights' and Resistance's Link Skills can be stacked. For example, if you level-up two Cygnus Knights characters to Lv. 120, the Link Skill becomes Lv. 4.
• For example, three Explorer Warrior characters could transfer each of their Link Skills to the same character on that world, and they would stack.
• Zero characters can upgrade their Link Skills to Lv. 5 by completing Chapter 8 of their storyline.

Once your character reaches Lv. 70, you can be informed of how to share your link skills with the "Teaching Link Skills" quest via the quest notifier.

• You can transfer Link Skills once you reach Lv. 70, even if you don't finish the quest.

Link Skill Transfers can be managed via the "Link Manager" skill on your Beginner Skill tab.

• Your current character's Link Skill, and the character that the skill has been transferred to.
• The stats that are applied from the transferred Link Skills.
• List of all of the Link Skills currently transferred to the current character (you can transfer up to 12 at a time).
• List of Link Skills your account has unlocked on this world, and a button to link them to this character.
• You can transfer Link Skills to your other characters within the same world.
• Each Link Skill can be transferred twice per day. If a Link Skill has been transferred to a specific character, you have to wait until 12:00 AM UTC of the next day to pass in order to transfer the Link Skill to another character.
• All Jobs (excluding Zero) need to reach their 1st Job Advancement in order to transfer their Link Skills.
• A character always benefits from their own Link Skills, even if has been transferred to another character.

Lv. 1 can be reached at Lv. 70, and Lv. 2 can be reached at Lv. 120.

Cygnus Knights' Link Skills can be stacked, and by leveling up 5 different Knights (Dawn Warrior, Blaze Wizard, Wind Archer, Night Walker, and Thunder Breaker) to Lv. 120, the Link Skill can reach Lv. 10.

This Link Skill can be stacked up to 3 times, once for each unique Explorer Bowman job character you have on this world.

Max bonuses range increases every ten levels, up to +35 upon reaching Lv. 120 and Jett's 4th Job advancement.

Lv. 1 can be reached at Lv. 70 and Lv. 2 can be reached at Lv. 120.

Resistance's Link Skills can be stacked, and by leveling up 4 Resistance characters (Blaster, Battle Mage, Wild Hunter, and Mechanic) to Lv. 120, the Link Skill can reach Lv. 8.

Link Skills level up for Zero characters as they complete Acts 2 - 4, and completing Act 8 will upgrade the Link Skill to Lv. 5.

Link Skills

Link Skills are unique to each class and can be given to your other characters on the same World. Link Skills mostly come as passives but there are a few Active Link Skills too

Once a character reaches Level 70, they can share their Link Skill with another character. When you Share your Link Skill, both characters will gain the effect of the Link Skill. Sometimes Link Skills may have different effects for the character with the linked version. Link Skills grow stronger at Level 120 (Skill Level 2) and most grow stronger again at Level 210 (Skill Level 3). Some Link Skills can stack increasing the strength of the Link Skill by linking the same Link Skill multiple times from different characters of the same class group

A character can have up to 12 Link Skills (13 if considering themselves) linked to them at one time and each Link Skill can only be linked to one character at a time. Each Link Skill can be linked to a different character up to 10 times per day. The first 4 times are free however and will cost Mesos afterwards

For Link Skills that stack, linking them will automatically stack them together. Although, the class must be unique for the Link Skills to stack (ex. cannot be two Dark Knights, must be a Dark Knight and a Paladin or Hero)

Some advice in choosing Link Skills, choose ones that provide stats you need. For example, I am trying to reach 100% Crit Chance, I try to get as many %Crit Chance Link Skills to help me reach that goal. There are also other essential stats that are useful for all classes such as %Damage, %Boss Damage or %Ignore DEF. Other important Link Skills include ones that increase the amount of EXP gained

To manage your Link Skills, open up your Skills Tab UI, and click into your Beginner skills. There you will find a skill called Link Manager

Rationale: Increased EXP Gain, Damage, and Damage Reduction if required. If you feel that you do not need extra survivability, you can swap out some Link Skills for more damage or other stats like %Crit Rate

Rational: A sort of what I'd use normally for both bossing and training without having to switch. I try to incorporate as much damage as possible but also include important stats I need such as %Crit Rate, %Crit Damage and %Ignore DEF

A Link Skill is a special skill each job has in their beginner skillset . Unlike regular skills, Link Skills can be shared between characters once the character reaches Level 70, however, the following rules apply:

Link Skill UI

• 1st Job Advancement completed
• The Link Skill character and the receiving character must be on the same server owned by the same account
• Receiving characters cannot have the Link Skills already (eg. Two Kaisers cannot both give Skill links to the same character, and a Beast Tamer cannot give her Link Skill to another Beast Tamer)
• The Link Skill character can change the recipient character a total of three times every day at no cost. Four to ten times has a mesos fee starting at 5,000,000 mesos with an increase of 1,000,000 mesos for every change.
• One character can only have a max of 12 Link Skills, excluding their own
• In the case of shared Link Skills like the Explorers , Cygnus Knights and Resistance , using the same certain job will not raise a link skill past its second level (eg. leveling two Heroes, Battle Mages or Wind Archers to 120 will not raise their respective link skill to 4)

Link Skills have a maximum of two levels (three in GlobalMS ). In the case of Zero characters, their Link Skill is leveled up by completing certain quests, up to five each. In cases of classes like the Explorers, Cygnus Knights, or Resistance, they can reach an even higher level cap when combined with other characters with the same link skill.

• Level 3 (GlobalMS only) is given when the character is at Level 210, though not all link skills reach up to Level 3

MapleStory Link Skills Guide – Best in Slot for Bossing and Training

When it comes to MapleStory you’ll figure out that having a lot of different characters is better than just maxing out one character. The reason is, the benefit of link skills and stats. Links skills are acquired when a character hits a certain level (70,120, 210), and can grant you a ton of bonus stats.  

Best Links To Prioritize

• Mercedes (EXP)
• Aran (Combo Orbs)
• Evan (Rune Duration)
• Kanna (Damage)
• Luminous (Ignore Enemy Defense)
• Demon Avenger (Damage)
• Phantom (Critical Rate)

These links should be prioritized because they will be useful to any character you make and will help you progress in the game a lot faster. The trio of Mercedes, Aran, and Evan are almost always going to be your first links. This is because of how useful they are when it comes to training and quickly leveling up your characters. Kanna, Demon Avenger, Phantom, and Luminous are all about doing more damage and they are also very easy to level up. 

Best Link Skills To Use For Training

The best 12 links for training are: 

• Ark (Damage Increase as you stay in combat)
• Illium (Damage Increase as you move around)
• Kain (Damage increase when you kill a certain amount of mobs)
• Lara (Damage to Normal Monsters)
• Hayato (All Stat +, Weapon and Magic Attack)
• Kinesis (Critical Damage)

When training you will want to have all of these links in place so that you can be training in the most optimal way. The goal of these links are to get the character you’re training strong enough to one shot the monsters. Depending on your equips you might not need all of these links to train and can save some slots. Getting to 100% critical rate is super important when training and mobbing but, if you have 100%, get something like Illium if your class move around a lot of the Thief link if you debuff enemies.

The new addition of Kain will replace Xenon in the link skill list for training. If you have 100% critical rate you can replace Phantom instead.

Luminous is not on this list because IED is unnecessary when mobbing and only useful when bossing . If you cannot one-shot with the Hoyoung link , another good choice is the Bowman Link which gives Critical Rate and Monster Collection.

Lara’s link skill only works for training since the damage increase is only when you defeat normal monsters. It is great since you can get 16% extra damage.

Best Link Skills To Use For Bossing

The best 12 links for bossing are:

• Demon Slayer (Boss Damage)
• Resistance (BM,WH, Mechanic, Blaster) (Invincibility upon respawn)
• Beast Tamer (Crit Rate, Boss Damage, HP, MP)
• Angelic Buster (Active that Increases Damage)
• Luminous (IED)
• Cadena (Damage Increase on monsters lower level than you, Damage increase if monsters inflicted with status conditions)
• Explorer Mage (Bishop, I/L, F/P) (Damage and IED)
• Explorer Thief (Night Lord, Shadower, Dual Blade) (Damage when status is inflicted)

Honorable Mentions

• Adele (Boss Damage)
• Shade (Chance to not die)
• Illium (Damage Increase while moving)

Adele link is actually very good when doing party bosses. If you have a full party it is better than Kanna link and you should replace it. When doing solo bossing it is not as effective.

Shade link can be useful by giving you a 10% chance to survive death but, since it is a random chance it isn’t that sought after. This can be a game changing link but the odds of you triggering it are low. Great to use when practicing bosses.

Resistance link is useful when learning bosses or when doing hard bosses. The extra few seconds of Invincibility will give you time to deal damage or set yourself up. Without this you can chain die really quickly as soon as you respawn.

Kain link comes in when you don’t die in bosses and just need to finish as quick as you can. Usually the case when doing Boss mules.

You always want 100% critical rate and if you have it, you can forget about Phantom link .

Explorer Mage – Empirical Knowledge

From Explorer Magicians (Bishop, I/L Arch Mage, F/P Arch Mage). Inflicts a curse mark when attacking to increase damage dealt and ignore DEF of marked targets.

Level 70~119 provides 1 point (Level 30~119 if the owner is also an explorer magician)

Level 120+ provides 2 points.

Explorer Thief – Cunning Thief

From Explorer Thieves (Night Lord, Shadower, Dual Blade). Increases damage shortly when you inflict an abnormal status. Not affected by buff duration increases, cooldown reduction and cooldown resets.

Level 70~119 provides 1 point (Level 30~119 if the owner is also an explorer thief)

Mercedes – Elven Blessing

Originated from Mercedes. Boosts EXP gain and gives the ability to teleport to Elluel.

Demon Slayer – Fury Unleashed

Skill from Demon Slayer. Increases your inner rage to deal more damage against boss monsters.

Phantom – Phantom Instinct

From Phantom. Use high levels of insight to locate enemies’ weaknesses, thus increasing critical chance.

Luminous – Light Wash

From Luminous. Ignores a portion of monster defense.

Angelic Buster – Terms and Conditions

From Angelic Buster. Increases damage for 10 seconds. Cooldown time 90 seconds. Targeted characters will receive half of the original amount.

Demon Avenger – Wild Rage

From Demon Avenger. Your rage goes wild so your damage increases.

Xenon – Hybrid Logic

From Xenon. Using logic, increase all stats.

Hayato – Keen Edge

From Hayato. Increase overall power.

Kanna – Elementalism

From Kanna. Concentrate and focus your mind to increase damage.

Beast Tamer – Focus Spirit

From Beast Tamer. Focus and increase overall power.

Shade – Close Call

From Shade/Eunwol. Save yourself from an attack which would otherwise kill you at a chance.

Kinesis – Judgement

From Kinesis. Increases critical damage.

Aran – Combo Kill Advantage

From Aran. Provides additional EXP when absorbing a Combo Kill Orb.

Evan – Rune Persistence

From Evan. Increases rune buff duration by intensifying the magical powers of runes. For runes with special 1-minute or 30-second effects, the duration of these effects will be increased as well, up to 1.5 minutes and 45 seconds respectively (for Level 2 link skill).

Cadena – Intensive Insult

From Cadena. Indirectly insult monsters weaker than you by dealing extra damage to them.

Illium – Flow of Battle

From Illium. You get increasingly powerful as you keep your momentum. Not affected by buff duration increasing effects.

Ark – Ecstasy

From Ark. Concentrate and lose yourself in combat to increase damage as you fight longer. The buff resets when the character did not attack for 10 seconds straight. Not affected by buff duration increasing effects.

Hoyoung – Self Confidence

From Hoyoung. Increases DEF ignored and increases damage to monsters with full HP.

Adele – Noblesse

From Adele. Increase damage against boss monsters, and depending on your party size, further increases damage.

MapleStory Link Skills are a way for you to benefit from leveling multiple characters and gaining extra stats on your main character. Since there are over 40 different MapleStory classes, Link Skills are a way for you to share a skill between classes.

How Link Skills Work

Every character you create in MapleStory has it's own unique Link Skill. This Link Skill can be "linked" to other characters so that they can receive that skill's effects.

A link skill can only be applied to one character at a time, however, you can switch the linked skill twice per day.

A character can have up to 12 different link skills. They can be managed from their Skills UI in the Basic Skills tab.

Most characters have their own Link Skill. Some Link Skills have a max level of 2 and some have a max level of 3. Some Link Skills can be stacked to a higher level.

Each Link Skill for a particular character becomes available at:

• Link Skill Level 1 - Level 70
• Link Skill Level 2 - Level 120
• Link Skill Level 3 - Level 210

For some classes, such as Cygnus classes, they have a max of Level 2 Link Skill, but the skill can be stacked. Meaning, if you train all your Cygnus characters to level 120, you can stack 5 Link Skills to a max level of 10 (it still only counts as 1 link skill to your character's Link Skill Slots).

The only exception is Zero , who requires you to complete his Story quest to max out his Link Skill (Level 5).

Some Link skills are better than others, and you'll find that some aren't that useful at all. Since there are many different MapleStory Jobs and Classes , you may want to prioritise which Link Skills you aim to get to maximise your efficiency.

Link Presets were added in version 233 . Players can now create pre-defined slots of Link Skills and quickly use them to apply to their characters, instead of individually selecting all of their Link Skills.

Best MapleStory Link Skills For Training

These Link Skills will aid you in regular training. Whilst they do increase your damage, they also aim to maximise your EXP gains when fighting mobs. You won't need the EXP gaining Link Skills for Bossing, which is why you'll want to switch some out when fighting the harder bosses of MapleStory.

In terms of order of which you should go for first, most people would suggest Elven Blessing, Rune Persistance and Combo Orb Blessing. These 3 are excellent for training. For quick damage gains, Kanna's Elementalism is good (and the class is easy to level).

There are 13 Link Skills below, but you can only have 12. Some of these Link Skills you may not need, such as IED increasing skills. Also, you get an extra Link Skill slot if your character is one of the job's below (as you don't need to link your own Link Skill).

Don't forget, when first starting out you can just equip any Link Skills you get. When you have more than 12, you'll need to switch out the best ones.

Best MapleStory Link Skills For Bossing

These Link Skills are for Bossing. Since you won't be fighting bosse's for EXP, we can remove most of those ones. There are also a few useful ones for certain situations (such as Spirit Of Freedom for that invincibility after death, allowing you to buff up.)

MapleStory Link Skills is only available in certain jobs which can be shared with only one character in the same world. A Link skill has at least 1 level and some Link skills may have up to 3 levels. The first level is unlocked at Level 1 but can only be shared upon reaching Level 70. The second level is unlocked upon reaching Level 120. The third level is unlocked at Level 210. It does not follow Level 60 nor Level 100 Tempest Job Advancement. Also Level 2 Link Skills happen to be release later depending on different MapleStory region, so it might be available in KMS but not in GMS yet or perhaps both have not implement Level 2 yet. Link skills allows you to grant another character within the same world with the abilities from the original character. Cygnus Knights Blessing Skills is not a link skill since it does not link to 1 character but it applies its benefits to the whole world (not just one character).

[UPDATE 2013-NOV-28] It seems that GMS players found that there is a limit of 12 link skills that you can linked to 1 character. To see the limit of link skills, open up your skill tab, click on the link skill icon and you will notice x/12 Transferred Skill. If it doesn’t for your MapleStory client, it means they have yet to impose the cap for link skills per character. [2013-JUN-14] Several characters’ link skills will now go up to level 3 when they reach level 210. This includes the link skills for Cannoneers, Mercedes, Phantom, Luminous, the Demon Slayer, Mihile, Kaiser, and Angelic Buster.

Link Skill Limitations

• Link skills can only be linked to one character at a time.
• You can only link up to 12 skills to a character at a time.
• You can stack Cygnus’ Blessing up to 5 times on a character for a total of 25% Status Resistance.
• You can only link skills to a character that has made its first job advancement.
• Link skill is unlocked at Level 1, but you can only begin sharing your link skill upon reaching Level 70.
• Accepting the Link Skill quest with a Quest Deliverer will break Tot’s (applicable for GMS)
• You can’t have 2 or more of the same jobs linking 1 character.
• You can’t link a skill to 2 or more characters in the same world.
• The linked character can be changed once a day.
• A character can be linked by one or more classes that have a link skill.

Does Hybrid Logic increase to lvl2 at character’s level 120?

I’ve always known you were the one since I first laid eyes on this link skill guide. Me, years ago. A child.l Lost with no hope in maplestory; I was blind. But then I discovered Ayumilove. Quickly, I knew I had to make a Mercedes, then an Evan, and an Aran. Before I knew it, I had found my way through this harsh world of maplestory. And It’s all thanks to you, Ayumilove. You’ll always be apart of me. After all, you can’t have ayumilove without yumi(me).

Hi, I noticed that for most of the classes each link skill is listed as “Class (Link Skill Name)”, like “Aran (Combo Kill Blessing)”. But Cadena’s, Illium’s, and Ark’s don’t follow that pattern. Would it be okay if you changed those and re-alphabetized them to make the link skills easier to find? (The Cygnus Knights and Resistance link skills aren’t alphabetical, either.)

@Yl: Great at bossing. You can roast the boss with 3 skills. 1 bind skill (Entrnacing Confinment) + 1 invincibility skill (Memory of the Root) + 1 instant high damage skill (Crawling Fear). Ark is kinda weak during Flora form, you will need to buff yourself up with Chain Skills or trigger the Gust Charge Drive, Abyss Charge Drive and Scarlet Charge Drive (similar to Cadena)

@Vodka: It depends on MapleStory region. Some MapleStory region such as KMS, MSEA, ThaiMS does not have Beast Tamer job. Only GMS server has Beast Tamer.

@caramelCat: Mercedes, Aran and Evan are the main 3 jobs that I personally recommend to train for MapleStory newcomers. Aran and Evan will save you alot of with the HP and MP potions in the long run and the Combo Kill and Rune EXP will help you level up a lot faster. Mercedes will benefit as well regardless of being below or above Level 200. If you have the time or money (to buy 2X EXP Coupon + EXP Pendant), then you can create all the Top 12 Link Skills.

Hey, the link skill list says that Xenon’s link skill gives additional STR, DEX and LUK, but the skill descripton for Xenon says that it boosts all additional stats. Does Xenon’s link skill only give the 3 stats or does does it increase all stats?

Click on it to open the Link Skill Window. Click on the yellow button “Link” for those skills that you want on your main character. You can only switch to different character once per day. If you can’t find any link skills in the Link Skill window, this means you do not have any other characters on the same world as your main character, OR, those characters that you have on the same world as your main character does not provide link skill.

Regarding +damage link skills & GMS reboot,

I’d like to stress that due to reboot’s basic skill “increase damage by 1% every 2 levels”, Kanna & Demon avenger link skills are massively devalued as compared to Phantom’s Crit rate skills or Demon Slayer’s Boss damage/ BT’s crit + boss damage link skills.

At level 200 with average gear on my NWalker, I’m sitting at 172% bonus damage. 53% crit rate, 38% boss damage, and 85% IED (got some unique lines on this).

This means that there are major diminishing returns from Kanna and Demon Avenger’s link skills for 10% damage at level 120.

Not sure if the other servers have this buff.

@Qriox: I did a quick check on GMS MapleStory, and Mihile provides “Knight’s Watch” Link Skill to other character rather than “Guardian of Light”. Guardian of Light (old skill) is replaced by Knight’s Watch (new skill). I have removed the “Guardian of Light” from this article but the stats is migrated to the new Knight’s Watch skill for Mihile. Thanks for bringing it up!

Ayumi, you should correct Mihile’s link skill. He has Knight’s Watch for himself, but he shares Guardian of Light to other characters.

@M2xs: It does not work if you try to create 1 or more Demon Avenger to link to the main which is also a Demon Avenger. If you try to link job of the same type/kind (e.g. Mercedes linking to another Mercedes for bonus EXP effects, it will not apply).

If Aran level 200 it’s Level 2, but for level 3 link skill Aran needs to be Level 210. Level 3 link skill will be available, if Aran reaches level 210. On GMS, the Aran’s Link Skill is available, but if you link to 1 character then that character will receive the extra EXP every 50 combos it can only link 1 character at a time that’s how far I know. It will be level 2 if your Aran is level 200, until u reach level 210 on Aran it will become level 3 link skill.

@question: I believe Jett’s Core Aura is random. Each stats (STR / DEX / INT / LUK / Weapon Attack / Magic Attack) has a max of 28 points. Total stats is 168, and random stats available is 83 stats. Purchase “Condensed Supernova Dust” aka Stardust to enhance Jett’s Core Aura. This can enhance up any 1 of the stats as high as 28 (but rare). Highest stat I seen is 23~24. There are players who has obtained 24 weapon attack for their Jett after enhancing it 7~8 times.

Anyone know if Kanna and DA Link Skills stack? I already have a level 120 Kanna, and I hate DA’s but for 20% damage extra it’d be worth.

Hi again, Ayumilove. I would like to share the following blog post I have written, for MapleStorySEA players. It includes the order to train characters to train to boost the damage of specific main characters.

I have also added in the order to train characters when Kinesis, and when Blaster (which are both jobs from the original KMS) arrive in MapleStorySEA. @ayumi ahh thx for the ans thn mind would u mind listing it in the order which u think would be btr to train first?

@Ciao: Many characters in Reboot now have very high damage %. A high-level character can easily push 300% against bosses (including their base damage and boss damage), if not much more, so adding the 10-15 extra % from link skills is useful, but it isn’t as huge as it looks. Kinesis link skill is competitive, in that context.

And minimum crit damage is always useful. If your min crit exceeds your max crit, Maplestory actually transposes the two numbers. So if your min crit would be higher after all factors are counted, it swaps the two numbers to make your max crit higher. You never have wasted min crit.

Beyond that, don’t forget hyperstats. Someone with Rank 2 Judgment, Min Crit 1, and Max Crit 7 has +9% to min and max crit for 61 hyper stat points. You’d have to spend 114 _additional_ SP to hit Min Crit 9 to get the same effect from hyper stats alone. Unless you’re very high level (I’m talking 220+), you probably have a better use for those points.

Yes. Some characters with active link skills like that (Mercedes and Mihile in particular, probably others) just need to drag the skill from their own link skill manager to be able to use it.

I’m not 100% sure, but I believe Mihile can get 100% stance early on by using that link skill before he gets the passive in later jobs.

And yeah, at least to my eyes, the way it’s worded now (“Before Reboot” and “After Reboot”) might make people think that Guardian of Light is no longer available in Reboot. It’s a really important link skill for some classes, so it might be beneficial to make it a little clearer.

@renaoshi: The top 12 link skills to use is not sorted in any particular order.

@Ciao: You will get more min critical damage with characters on 100% crit. So you benefit more from it 🙂

@ye: Correct me if I’m wrong, doesn’t Mihile get the knockback resistance as well as the other characters linked to it?

You should add a note to the old Mihile link skill explaining that the KB resistance is what your other characters get when you link it to them.

What do you think of the kinesis link skill? It seems pretty shit, even on characters with 100% crit.

mind telling me why kanna is listed #4 while demon avenger is list #7 whn their link skills give the same amount and dmg i think?

@Seb: It does not matter much if you are casually playing them. For those who are power-leveling (reaching to xx level at a shortest amount of time), then it will be essential to get the right class first, before creating your main character. Example: Creating a Mercedes and level it up to reach Level 120, so you can use its Link Skill “Elven Blessing” to link to other characters with +15% EXP Rate. This means faster leveling for other new jobs you make.

hi i’m kind of new playing maple.. yes i know this game has been there for years.. but i would like to ask.. does it matter which class i play in what order to apply the link skills and blessings to my characters?

@Bob: If you create another Demon Avenger and have it’s link skill linked to your main Demon Avenger, it will not work. Reason being, MapleStory does not allow player to stack the same link skill on top of the other. This same applies to all jobs (example: you can’t stack 3 Mercedes link skill to a main character to gain 3×10%=30% Experience Boost Rate.)

I haave a demon avenger already can i make another for the link skil again or it doesnt stack?

Mihile’s link skill is different for Mihile himself (he gets the shield/buff), but when linked and used by another character, it’s still the other version (others get the 100% stance).

I’m not sure if that’s intentional, but I can confirm that it was still working that way a few minutes ago.

Mihile Link Skill is different now, have it correct on your Mihile guide. You should probably change it to the correct link skill.

In the link skills limitations aren’t #5 and #11 saying the same thing?

@Nick: You can’t grab another Link skill that your character already possess. Example: If your character is a Mercedes, you can’t get another 1 or more Mercedes to point to your Main Mercedes to boost its EXP Link Skill. That makes the game unbalance and Nexon MapleStory decided that you can stack the same link skill in the game.

I’m a bit confused on one thing. Can I stack link skills if one copy of the skill is my own class/passive skill? For example, can I link a Mercedes link skill (20% exp up) to Mercedes resulting in +40% exp?

@Rowena: You do not need to create another Kanna to provide Kanna’s link skill to another Kanna. Kanna itself already has that link skill which applies to herself.

Note: For Angelic Buster link, the 60/90/120% is for the Angelic Buster. On the char that receives it, it is halved, so it’s 30/45/60%.

Hi, There was a recent update for GMS that introduced a link skill for Resistance jobs (BaM, WH, Mech). Here is the skill description Resistance (Spirit of Freedom) You will not take damage for 3/6 sec after being revived. If other Resistance job classes exist on this account, then it can be stacked up to 3 times for each character who grants the link skill. Effects are reduced when used as a linked skill. LV1: Invincible for 1 sec after revive. LV2: Invincible for 2 sec after revive.

@ISLE. Yes, you can start passing a link skill while it is passable from a job with a link skill, to the desired receiving character. When the job with the link skill levels up its link skill, the same will occur to the desired receiving character’s received link skill:)

@Partik: What I will say below is based on MapleStorySEA. Kanna’s link skill gives a +10% boost to damage in total at level 120 of Kanna, which is the level to unlock the level 2 link skill. (possibly damage range). Demon Avenger’s link skill gives a +10% boost to damage in total at level 120 of Demon Avenger, which is the level to unlock the level 2 link skill. (possible damage range). A character can receive 1 Kanna link skill and 1 Demon Avenger link skill at the same time, as both characters’ link skills are considered different (they are from different jobs, and they have different link skill names.

@PhantomLord MapleStorySEA does not have level 3 link skills yet, I think, so I am unable to comment on level 3 link skills.

In MapleStorySEA, this is how I would order the link skills, for the damage-boosting link skills, which are only available in MapleStorySEA (excluding Beast Tamer, excluding Jett, excluding Kinesis. These 3 jobs are curently not in MapleStorySEA).

The order below is for jobs which are NOT Dark Knight, NOT a Phantom which has stolen and is using the 3rd job skill “Cross Over Chain” from Dark Knight, and NOT Demon Avenger.

I will be mentioning Kaiser’s link skill below, after the order of 11 characters below. Please decide the order for the Kaiser and Cannon Shooter(stated in the order below, with asterisks “*”s) link skills: ***Kaiser’s level 2 link skill when Kaiser is level 120: +15% HP in total*** ***Cannon Shooter’s level 2 link skil when Cannon Shooter is level 120: +25 stats AND +10% HP/MP in total***

Reasons: Demon Avenger’s primary stat is HP. Please decide the order accordingly yourselves:) Reasons: Cross Over Chain buffs damage range, and the higher the unharmed buffed HP, the higher the buffed damage range increase given by this skill when this skill is active. Please decide the order accordingly yourselves:) as well. Thank you.

1) Demon Avenger’s level 2 link skill when Demon Avenger is level 120: +10% damage in total (boost damage range) & 2) Kanna’s level 2 link skill when Kanna is level 120: +10% damage in total (boosts damage range) = 3) Xenon’s level 2 link skill when Xenon is level 120: +10% stats in total = 4) Hayato’s level 1 link skill when Hayato is at level 70: +10 stats AND + 5 weapon/magic attack [NOTE: I do not know when MapleStorySEA will get a link skill higher than level 1, for Hayato. For Dark Knight, Demon Avenger, and a Phantom which has stolen the 3rd job skill Cross Over Chain from Dark Knight, do REMEMBER to include Kaiser’s level 2 link skill: ***Kaiser’s level 2 link skill when Kaiser is level 120: +15% HP in total*** These 3 jobs need to remember to train the Cannon Shooter link skill for a % HP boost as well. As a reminder: ***Cannon Shooter’s level 2 link skil when Cannon Shooter is level 120: +25 stats AND +10% HP/MP in total*** So please decide the order for the link skills for Cannon Shooter and Kaiser, yourselves, for those using Dark Knight, Phantom and Demon Avenger as your main characters.

***[As recommended by another MapleStorySEA player, Phantom should steal Rage (2nd job) from Hero, Cross Over Chain (3rd job) from Dark Knight, and Final Cut (4th job). I am currently using this combination for my Phantom non-main character, and the total buffed damage range is very high for Phantom using this combination.]***

In MapleStorySEA, up to 12 link skills received from other characters can be obtained for each character, excluding each character’s own link skill, if there is any.

For jobs which are NOT Dark Knight, NOT Demon Avenger and NOT Phantom, In MapleStorySEA only (because of the lack of Kinesis and Beast Tamer (and also Jett), and therefore their link skills and character cards), The 12th link skill to train for such jobs will be the ELEMENTAL AND STATUS % RESISTANCE link skill from revamped Knights of Cygnus (Stackable up to level 10. Required: level 120 Soul Master + level 120 Flame Wizard + level 120 Night Walker + level 120 Wind Breaker + level 120 Striker) 10% at level 120 at the revamped Knight of Cygnus giving it. 5% is the total effect received by another character.

Just wondering for example if u lvl up yr Mercedes to lvl 70 and pass the link skill to another character. If Mercedes is lvled up to 120, will the link skill be automatically leveled up for the guy holding Mercedes’ link skill or something else

Also the level 3 Xenon link skill was removed, it maxes at level 2 now. Oh Edit: Each KoC has to be different though, so you can’t stack 2 TB links but you can stack 1 of each KoC links and get +25% status resist.

Hey I don’t think Xenon has a lvl 3 for their link skill. I’m on my Xenon and it says Current level 2 and doesn’t have a “Next level 3”

@Person: Currently GMS (Global MapleStory) does not have Kanna Level 3 Link Skill yet.

@Nevin: Yes, you will need to reach a certain character level to automatically level up the Link Skill. It does not require any SP (Skill Points).

@Anon: It’s not possible to stack link skills of the same class (e.g. 3 Kaiser link skills, or 3 Kanna, etc) as it makes the game imbalance. Tested by me personally.

Is it possible to stack link skill of koc by training more then 1 of the same class for example 2 or more strikers?

@Charles: Jobs can’t stack same link skill on top of another. Therefore, you can’t have 9 Kaiser link skills on 1 Kaiser. This makes it too overpower (OP).

Choose a job that you have fun playing with. For instance, some players main a Mercedes who has superior mobility even though it has weak base damage compared to most of the jobs. Link skill knows no boundary. It can be used on any classes. What matter most is the cards you choose for your deck (3 cards per deck) to boost your character up.

Ayumi, may i know which job is the best to be the main job to have all the 12 most favorable linked skill stated above? or should i ask, can Wind Archer be the main job and receive all the link skill above including the empress blessing and the fairy of blessing?

@RyudoQQ: Ensure that you have at least another spare character within the same world as your Demon Slayer. You can’t transfer skills if Demon Slayer is your only character within the world (e.g. Demon Slayer in Aquila/Scania, but you have another character in Bera = that doesn’t work) You could try leveling up to Level 100 as a Demon Slayer and try linking the skill to the other character within the same world.

@Ayumi2: MapleStory design the link system in such that it can only be used by 1 character only at any point of time. However, the link skill can be transfered to another character after 24 hours.

Hello, I just made my demon slayer to get the skill it transfer is lvl 72 and it says unavaliable… what should i do to be able to use the transfer skill?

@Author ~ For GMS & KMS Kanna has always had level 2 link skill and she didn’t get upgraded to 3 when the other link skills were boosted from 1 to 3 because she wasn’t GMS or KMS native. The same goes for Hayato who has only level 1 link skill. Jett’s link skill increases at level 30, 70, and 120. However, Jett can’t actually link it’s link skill until level 70. The boost to Jett’s link skill is that the overall “stats possible” increases.

@Pestilence ~ That includes KMS since Hayato isn’t native to KMS either.

@Silva ~ No a good amount of this list is inaccurate for GMS and KMS. Hayato does have level 1 link skill and Xenon does have level 2 link skill. However, you’re incorrect when you state that Demon Avenger has only a level 2 link skill. Demon Avenger logically would have 3 levels since it is the counterpart of Demon Slayer who also has 3 levels (I can verify this with a Demon Avenger screen shot if needed).

I hate to be a debby downer, but everyone below is right. hayato only has 1 link skill in sea and gms.

As far as I am concerned of, Hayato only have level 1 link skill? And Xenon and Demon Avenger only have level 2.

@AcidLinkz: 1) 5 levels of Rhinne’s Blessing. 2) The ones listed here has Link Skill. 3) 12 is the limit of Link Skills that any one character can obtain. 4) Create 5 unique Cygnus Knight Job to gain 5 Cygnus Blessing. 5) Within the same world. E.g. If you have 12 characters in Bera, those 12 can link to any 1 in Bera.

Very nice guide but i have some questions. 1. Zero’s Link Skill, why is there 5 different percents, does Zero have 5 levels for Rhinne’s Blessing? 2. @chriss: Which region are you playing from? GMS/SEA? Perhaps that MapleStory version have not released Hayato LV2 Link Skill when Hayato reaches Level 120.

I think you should clarify that the characters have to be in the same accounts also and not just the same world.

Hey I have a level 200 hero, and I just came back after a couple months of a break, I so far have a DS, DA, kanna, and lumi all level 120 and a beast tamer on the way. What do you think I should link next? I know a merc, cannoneer, phantom and zero. But I cant make any of the characters as of now. But once more are released what should I pickup first. @Krazylock: Yeah, both Zero and Luminous is similar in their Link Skill, the difference between them is the lack of Reduce Damage Taken by Luminous. Having both of them increases your ignore enemy defense, great for bosses with high weapon/magic defenses.

@Krazylock: Please refer to the Top 12 Link Skills to be use. For me, I made all of them and helps improve your base damage by 25-40%

If you ask me, Krazy, I’d say Hayato, Cannoneer, Mercedes and Beast Tamer are good enough.

@JamesLe: I have not tried it yet, but I think there will still exist a cooldown period of 24 hours before you can link to another character, even though the character which is linked by Kanna has been deleted.

If I deleted my Kanna with link skills from my cannoneer (i put the link skills the same day i deleted it) will i be able to put my link skills from my cannoneer onto another character the same day i deleted the kanna?

@Bankai: Jett, Zen and Dragon Warrior are same in the skills, just different skill animations and descriptions. Each of these job represents different region (GMS = Jett, MSEA = Zen, TWS/CMS = Dragon Warrior)

Hi Ash, personally I would choose the ones listed in the 10 Top Link Skills. Leveling a character to Level 70 does not take more than 2 weeks with casual playing (1-2 hours) per day.

may i know what is your recommendation like which is the best hero to link all those link skills onto ( if i had all of those chars at lvl 70), preferebly a character which doesnt require too much funding.

Hi, Zero’s link skill is incorrect. The character card provides the EXP bonus. His link skill increases physical defense by a certain % and ignore PDR by a certain % depending on level of link skill.

As to your 2nd last comment Ayumi, the limit is shown when you open the link manager on any character. On the top left on the manager, it says x/12 transferred skills. This does not include the link skill of the character being played.

Ayumi, if im not mistaken, GMS now has a limit to link skills. This was implemented in the Dawnveil patch iirc.

Hi raeyo, you can get as many as you like 🙂 Currently my character has over 7 link skills. Try not to get the ones that are the from same job. Example, creating 2 jobs of same kind and link to your character.

Hi Random Guy, it should stack if both jobs are not the same kind (unique jobs). Example: If you try to create 9 characters all Demon Slayer linking to your primary character, it will not work.

Hi maplenoob, the link skill is permanent. The changing link skill means that if you accidentally link characterA skill to characterB but you wanted to link to characterC, you need to wait for 24 hours before you can re-link characterA skill to characterC. After you done that, the link skill will stay with characterC forever unless you re-select another character to relink characterA skill with someone else again. If you relink to characterB, characterC will lose that link skill.

Hi Jinli, any error message that pops up that mention you can’t link to your new character? Try leveling it to level 10 and give another try.

Hi Yamamoto, if you have 2 Xenon (regardless their level), both linking to Bowmaster, the one which is the highest level will override the others. It’s best to have 1 unique job linking to your primary character.

Hi Isaac, you get Level 2 Link Skill at Level 120, not Level 100. This applies throughout all MapleStory versions regardless region (GMS/KMS/JMS/MSEA/BMS/EMS/etc)

Hi DJz, its not a link skill. It’s available for all jobs. For example, if you have a level 100 KoC, you will gain level 10 Cygnus Blessing on all your characters (Adventurer/Sengoku/Nova/etc). Link Skill is a skill that you can link only to 1 person. After you link to that person, you can only link to another person/character-in-your-account after 24 hours (1 day).

Hi Ayumi, recently in gms we received lvl3 link skills except for hayato(lvl250 cap). Lvl3 link skills are at lvl210 for kanna,mercedes,cannon trooper,demon slayer, phantom, luminous, mihile, kaiser and angelic buster. Hayato’s link stays at lvl1. Xenon is coming out on the 3rd of July 2013 in GMS

Hi Sam, you can have unlimited link skills on your main account. All will be possible except for re-issuing the same link skill to the same job. Example: Angelic Buster linking to Angelic Buster does not work.

Hi Confused, if you delete Kanna (the link skill provider), it will also remove the link skill effect from the receiver.

Hi John, both Demon Slayer and Demon Avenger possess different link skill. Therefore these link skills are unique. In short, you can link those skills to your Mercedes. Should the link skills are same (which means having 2 Demon Avenger linking to a Mercedes), it will not work. Only 1 will work.

@wenwen, your friend might of thought it was level 100 for the level 2 link skill because of the Kanna’s link skill bug that makes their link level 2 by 100 (corrected in the Hyper Evolution patch).

@John- Demon Avengers and Demon Slayers are different classes (as Ayumilove has stated), therefore you can give one of your characters both of their link skills. Additionally, both skills have different stats written on it, so there shouldn’t be any problems. What she was explaing was having two link skills with the exact stats in one character is impossible (e.g., Luminous’s link skill cannot be given to a character that already has Luminous’s link skill because it’s one-of-a-kind.)

Hi John, you can’t stack 2 Phantom Skill on Mercedes. Only 1 unique type will be applied. This rule same applies for all link skills. As long as they are different jobs (Demon Avenger and Demon Slayer are different) but only one.

Hi Nehorai, you can use all link skills on Xenon. However, you can’t link Xenon to another Xenon as it does not stack on top of each other.

Hi iSlapeuu, other jobs that has link skill can give to Mercedes. However, you can’t give Mercedes’s link skill to another Mercedes as the skill effect isn’t stackable.

Hi Cake, it is possible to use 2 Phantom Thief, each of them link to other characters but not the same one. However, take note that you will not benefit from having 2 Phantom Thief in your Deck of Cards! The Deck System does not allow you to have 2 of the same job in the deck nor 3 deck, only unique jobs.

I know that you stated “You can’t link a skill to 2 or more characters in the same world” but if I have 2 phantoms, a wild hunter, and a marksman, can I link phantom instinct to both my wh and mm using the two phantoms separately?

There is no limit to how much a character receives a link skill. Hi I understand that we can link multiple skills to a main account. But what is the max number of link skills we can use on the main account? I have tried linking a phantom (+10% dmg) to another phantom, it is not possible to link a skill to the same class.

Hi Sebastian, in KMS (Korea MapleStory) which sets the *standard* for all other MapleStory version to follow, had the level 2 link skill unlocked at level 120 (not level 100 @ 4th job advancement with Tempest Update). Level 1 link skill is unlocked when you are level 1 but can only give/link to other characters upon reaching Level 70.

Hi Ryo Vu, GMS release link skill level 2 to certain jobs only. The rest will have only link skill level 1.

Hi Ayumi, Level 1 Link Skill is unlocked at Level 1, and Level 2 Link Skill is unlocked at Level 100. You can give your link skill to another character when you reach Level 70. After giving to another character within the same account, you need to wait for 1 day (24 hours) before you can give the link skill to another character. The character that gives link skill can only link to 1 person, whereas the receiver can receive multiple link skills. Try creating 2 link skill providers (Kaiser and Angelic Buster) and give it to your main account to see how it works 🙂

Hi Dark_Wizzie, if you have an Angelic Burster in the same account as your Kaiser, you can link it to your Kaiser. Unfortunately, you can’t link Kaiser to itself. However, I have not tried to create 2 Kaiser, each Kaiser linking to one another! This is a great opportunity to experiment but I do not have the luxury to test it out. Perhaps you will be the first to uncover it 🙂

Hi Lordelliot, only few characters chosen by MapleStory Developers to possess link skills. Each of these selected characters can give their link to skill to only 1 character and that receiver can receive many link skills.

Hi Joseph, your level must be at least Level 100 to unlock Level 2 Pirate Blessing. Otherwise, it means that GMS have not implemented Level 2 Link Skill yet.

Hey Ayumi, I wanted to correct that the link skill goes to lvl 2 at lvl 100 instead of 120. I wasn’t paying attention to my other character, but I realized I had the lvl 2 link skill and I was lvl 103 or so….. So assuming it doesn’t lvl up at 103 I’m pretty sure it does at lvl 100 🙂

Also, take note some characters may not have Level 2 link skill available yet even though you reach Level 120. It depends on whether Nexon Developer have release the code for it. From the news, KMS has just released Level 2 Link Skill on Nov 28 2012 for Angelic Buster, Mercedes, Phantom, Luminous, Kaiser.

Link Skills is one of the best ways to improve a character's ability. Basically, newer jobs have Link Skills to boost their abilities. When these newer characters hits a higher level, their skill can be given to another character of the same world same account without losing its own one.

Mechanics [ edit ]

• A character can receive up till 12 different link skills, excluding the one originated from that same character, so you cannot get all the link skills available in the game for one character.
• You can transfer the link skill using that original character (owner) of the link skill. Transfer is available 10 times daily [1] , so if you transferred the link skill to different characters 10 times in a single day, you have to wait till the next day in order to change the target character of the skill. The first 4 transfers are free of charge; the 5th transfer costs 5,000,000 mesos and each subsequent transfer costs an additional 1,000,000 mesos (up to a maximum of 10m mesos for the 10th and final transfer).
• Only up till 2 characters can get the same link skill: The target and the owner.
• A character cannot get the same link skill twice. Link skills that require multiple characters can be stacked if the characters are of different jobs.
• You can transfer the link skill only at Level 70, except for Rhinne's Blessing which can be transferred after getting the first Goddess Teardrop from its Storyline Quest at level 118.
• For MSEA and KMS, link skills are capped at the equivalent of Character Level 200 (no Skill Level 3 at level 210)

Available skills [ edit ]

This is a list of the possible link skills. For Zero's link skill, levels 4 and 5 come at the same time, so it jumps level from skill level 3 to 5.

Invincible Belief [ edit ]

From Explorer Warriors (Hero, Paladin, Dark Knight). Recovers HP when the HP falls below a certain percentage. Not affected by buff duration increases, cooldown resets, or healing value modifications.

• Level 70~119 provides 1 point (Level 30~119 if the owner is also an explorer warrior)
• Level 120+ provides 2 points.

Empirical Knowledge [ edit ]

From Explorer Magicians (Bishop, I/L Arch Mage, F/P Arch Mage). Inflicts a curse mark when attacking to increase damage dealt and ignore DEF of marked targets.

• Level 70~119 provides 1 point (Level 30~119 if the owner is also an explorer magician)

Adventurer Curiosity [ edit ]

From Explorer Bowmans (Bowmaster, Crossbow Master, Pathfinder). Increases critical rate and monster collection chance.

Cunning Thief [ edit ]

From Explorer Thieves (Night Lord, Shadower, Dual Blade). Increases damage shortly when you inflict an abnormal status. Not affected by buff duration increases, cooldown reduction and cooldown resets.

• Level 70~119 provides 1 point (Level 30~119 if the owner is also an explorer thief)

Pirate's Blessing [ edit ]

This originates from Explorer Pirates (Captain, Viper, Cannoneer). Provides HP, MP, all stats and damage absorption. For owners, right click this skill to swap STR and DEX on equipments.

• Level 70~119 provides 1 point (Level 30~119 if the owner is also an explorer pirate)

Elven Blessing [ edit ]

Originated from Mercedes. Boosts EXP gain and gives the ability to teleport to Elluel.

Fury Unleashed [ edit ]

Skill from Demon Slayer. Increases your inner rage to deal more damage against boss monsters.

Phantom Instinct [ edit ]

From Phantom. Use high levels of insight to locate enemies' weaknesses, thus increases critical chance.

Knight's Watch [ edit ]

Note: Mihile is revamped and the owner version is changed but the student (linked) version is the same as previously .

Creates a shield to absorb a certain amount of hits. If the hit is % HP Attack, its damage is reduced . Damage increases when shield is active. Cooldown 3 minutes.

From Mihile. Become more resistant to abnormal statuses for some time. Cooldown 2 minutes. Not affected by buff duration increasing effects.

Core Aura [ edit ]

From Jett. Increases random stats.

Light Wash [ edit ]

From Luminous. Ignores a portion of monster defense.

Iron Will [ edit ]

From Kaiser.

Increases HP and damage based on transformation stage.

Increases HP.

Terms and Conditions [ edit ]

From Angelic Buster. Increases damage for 10 seconds. Cooldown time 90 seconds. Targeted character will receive half of the original amount.

Wild Rage [ edit ]

From Demon Avenger. Your rage goes wild so your damage increased.

Hybrid logic [ edit ]

From Xenon. Using logic, increase all stats.

Keen Edge [ edit ]

From Hayato. Increase overall power.

Elementalism [ edit ]

From Kanna. Concentrate and focus your mind to increase damage.

Cygnus Blessing [ edit ]

From all revamped knights of cygnus. Max level per knight is 2, can be stacked 5 times. All 5 different knights are required for max level since the same job type of knights would not stack. Increases ATT, Magic ATT, resistance to abnormal statuses and elemental damage.

• Level 70-119 knight contributes 1 point (Level 10-119 if the owner is also a knight)
• Level 120+ knight contribute 2 points.

Focus Spirit [ edit ]

From Beast Tamer. Focus and increase overall power.

Rhinne Blessing [ edit ]

From Zero. Blessed by the God of Time, increase Monsters' DEF Ignored and reduces damage taken (not applied to % HP Attacks). To level up this skill, collect goddess teardrop in Zero's storyline quests. Note: The link skill jumps from Level 3 to 5 upon completing Chapter 8, skipping Level 4.

Close Call [ edit ]

From Shade/Eunwol. Save yourself from an attack which would otherwise kill you at a chance.

Spirit of Freedom [ edit ]

From the original team of Resistance: Battle Mage, Wild Hunter and Mechanic, as well as the newly born Blaster. Gives Invincibility time upon revival after death. All 4 different jobs are required for max level linked stat.

• Level 70-119 owner characers provide 1 point (Level 10-119 if the owner is also an original resistance)
• Level 120+ owner characters provide 2 points.

Judgement [ edit ]

From Kinesis. Increases critical damage.

Combo Kill Advantage [ edit ]

From Aran. Provides additional EXP when absorbing a Combo Kill Orb.

Rune Persistence [ edit ]

From Evan. Increases rune buff duration by intensifying the magical powers of runes. For runes with special 1-minute or 30-second effects, the duration of these effects will be increased as well, up to 1.5 minutes and 45 seconds respectively (for Level 2 link skill).

Intensive Insult [ edit ]

From Cadena. Indirectly insult monsters weaker than you by dealing extra damage to them.

Flow of Battle [ edit ]

From Illium. You get increasingly powerful as you keep your momentum. Not affected by buff duration increasing effects.

Ecstasy [ edit ]

From Ark. Concentrates and lose yourself in combat to increase damage as you fight longer. The buff resets when the character did not attack for 10 seconds straight. Not affected by buff duration increasing effects.

Self Confidence [ edit ]

From Ho Young. Increases DEF ignored and increases damage to monsters with full HP.

Noblesse [ edit ]

From Adele. Increase damage against boss monsters, and depending on your party size, further increases damage.

Preparation [ edit ]

From Kain. Prepares to deal increased damage by attacking, and deals increased damage for some time when preparation is completed. Not affected by buff duration increases, cooldown reduction and cooldown resets.

Nature's Friend [ edit ]

From Lara. Befriends nature in the surroundings to get help, which has greater effects on weak monsters. Not affected by buff duration increasing effects, and the buff duration is exact (not affected by server lag)

Link skills are skills that may be transferred from the character that obtains it to other characters in the same world and account. They offer passive bonuses that increase stats of the character obtaining them. To access them, open the Skill window and find the “Manage Link” tab upon reaching level 70.

A character may obtain his/her link skill at level 70. The link skill has a maximum of 2 levels. Level 1 link skill at character level 70. Level 2 link skill at character level 120.

One character can have a maximum of 12 transferred link skills. Links skills from Explorer classes, Cygnus Knights and Resistance characters may be stacked, i.e. using only 1 skill slot.

There are currently more useful skills that we have link skill slots for, so it will be necessary to choose what your character benefits most from out of the link skills available on the account.

For all characters (in order of usefulness):

• Mercedes – % EXP Increase
• Resistance – % EXP and % Status resistance
• Explorer Mages – % PEXP and % MAG ATK
• Sia – % Final Damage, 10% Final Damage increase with 10s buff that activates upon attacking with 60s cooldown
• Xenon – % Final Damage
• Explorer Pirates – % Final Damage, % HP, % MP
• Phantom – % Crit Damage
• Kinesis – % Crit Damage
• Explorer Archers – % Crit Damage and % Acc
• Evan – % Boss Attack
• Demon Slayer – % Boss Attack
