NeVeRLiFt の投稿を引用: On Ghostmode you really get to know the AR's. Being able to CQB and run & gun, scope enemies out to 200-350m and drop them even while detected with just 1-3 bullets, good recoil/handling even with the M203 attached. So you end up looking at the AR's and finding that one that fits you as a BR & DMR so you can get the job done in all situations. AUG A3 AK47 ACR M4A1 R4 TAR-21 AK12 MK17 DLC which for the moment outclass all the others, just use the long barrel for the 416 HK416 MK18 just my .02
NeVeRLiFt の投稿を引用: Use the coolest looking one you like ;) Just remember that bullet drop and bullet grouping will get you everytime... same goes for certain scopes, they might look cool but some of the AR's just handle like drek with them. I use the ACOG always now and have got used to it even in CQB, it would be a lot better if it had the ACSS reticle. https://imgur.com/PFn3UWJ edit: if you did use the Mk16 did you notice the bad bullet drop it had?
NeVeRLiFt の投稿を引用: Here's what someone told me when I asked about the ranges and bullet drop in ARMA 3. No need to aim 2m over a target at 200m. It’s pretty common to engage enemies at 300 - 400 meters. I recently fired at OPFOR that’s been 600 - 700 meters away using LMG. You can set your sights’ or scope’s zeroing manually and with ACE mod it’s taken even further - with adjusting windage and distance separately (only for long range scopes of course). Wind speed and direction, air humidity, air pressure and air temperature can alter bullet’s path. Sometimes you even have to take Coriolis effect under account. I've watched some Twitch streamers playing it and YT videos on it, and it does look good. https://imgur.com/Zdl71Wx

Ghost Recon Wildlands

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Wildlands is the tenth installment in the Ghost Recon franchise. It was announced during the Ubisoft E3 2015 Conference, and was released on March 7th, 2017. It is set in a massive and responsive open world, with the whole campaign playable either solo or with up to 4 friends. A competitive PVP mode, titled Ghost War , was later released as part of a free update. A later update introduced "Ghost Mode" an new game mode that features perma-death to a player character if killed and access to only a primary weapon and sidearm, instead of two primary weapons.

The game's plot revolves around a Bolivian-based drug cartel named Santa Blanca, who has turned Bolivia into a narco-state. After the cartel supposedly bombed the US Embassy in La Paz and brutally tortured and executed an undercover DEA agent named Ricky Sandoval, the CIA launched "Operation: Kingslayer", a top-secret revenge mission against the cartel, with the ultimate objective to neutralize its leader: El Sueño. A 4-man team from the classified special operations unit: Ghost Recon, comprised of: Nomad, Midas, Weaver, and Holt, are tasked with covertly dismantling the cartel with the help of the Kataris 26 rebels, a local rebel movement opposing Santa Blanca in the region who is led by Pac Katari. Credit is failure, so the Ghosts must do all of this without implicating the US' involvement in the cartel's destruction. Standing against them are the well-trained sicarios of the Santa Blanca Security Forces and La Unidad, an elite Bolivian military police unit originally tasked with driving out Santa Blanca out of Bolivia, but ended up with a tenuous cease-fire agreement after months of bloody fighting.

Two story expansions were later released. The first, "Narco Road", has the player stepping into the shoes of an unnamed Ghost who poses as a mercenary for hire and befriending the leaders of the gangs carrying out smuggling operations for Santa Blanca in an effort to identify and assassinate El Invisible, one of El Sueno's top smugglers. This expansion shifts away somewhat from the main game for a more Hollywood-esque tone whereupon the unnamed Ghost must increase his social media following in order to gain favor with the three gangs (because, apparently, a strong social media following is what determines someone's trustworthiness these days...) through various vehicle-based stunts and get El Invisible's attention.

The later expansion, "Fallen Ghosts", has Nomad's team returning to Bolivia after the cartel's destruction to extract CIA operatives still operating in the area, whose covers have been compromised. However, their insertion helicopter was shot down by the Los Extranjeros, a hi-tech South American mercenary group staffed with former special forces operators and any SB sicarios they managed to recruit after the cartel's downfall, who are in the region to assist La Unidad in rooting out the CIA operatives, in exchange for them looking the other way when the mercs takeover and restart the cartel's former operations. The Ghosts are now tasked with re-establishing contact with the CIA, rescuing their operatives, and removing the Los Extranjeros threat in the region by eliminating their commanders and operations.

A note is that the player character Nomad is fully customizable, down to their gender (though his canonical appearance is a full-bearded Caucasian man, as can be seen in promotional materials and the game's boxart). A later patch gave the same level of customization to his 3 AI teammates. For this reason, Nomad's and the crew's appearance and gender will constantly fluctuate throughout the page.

A direct sequel, Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint , was announced in May 2019 and released in October 2019.

Wildlands and Breakpoint are set in the "ClancyVerse" of Tom Clancy canon. This is the current shared canon of the Splinter Cell , HAWX , and Rainbow Six series including Rainbow Six: Siege .

A Cartel member can be seen with a Beretta M9 in the "Fight for the Wildlands" trailer. During gameplay, the Beretta is found in a locked weapons box in the Villa Verde province and is simply labeled as the "M9." It features a rail from the M9A1 while maintaining the curved trigger guard of the standard model. The Beretta starts with a standard issue 15-round magazine, and can be modified to accept 25-round extended magazines, various tactical laser sights, and a detachable suppressor. A unique M9A1 called "El General" is awarded to the player when they capture General Baro, a UNIDAD general. It sports a black paint job with brown grips.

The weapon is also the default sidearm of Nomad, who will always draw a black M9 in cutscenes, regardless of the player's currently-equipped sidearm which, amusingly, will still appear inside its holster on his/her leg even in cutscenes. Its also the default sidearm of AI companions, although they never actually use the weapon. Agent Karen Bowman, the Ghosts' CIA c, also uses an M9 handgun during several cutscenes. US Marines that appears in Operation Oracle: Suspicion have suppressed M9s in holster or hands.

Random sicarios, and La Cabra, will also brandish two M9 handguns during random, out-of-combat interactions with certain NPCs, although they never actually use the weapon and will revert to their primary weapons if engaged in combat.

FN Five-seveN USG

The FN Five-seveN USG can be recovered by the player in a locked weapons box during gameplay. Indexed as the "5.7 USG", it starts with a standard 20-round magazine, and a weapon mod allows it to carry 30 rounds. It can be fitted with various tactical lasers and has a threaded barrel that allows for a detachable suppressor. A customized but unmodifiable Five-seveN called the "Lady Killer" can be acquired by capturing Antonio. The customized Five-seveN used by Sam Fisher in Splinter Cell: Conviction and Blacklist , indexed as the "Five Seven Blacklist" is part of the Splinter Cell Equipment Pack included in the Year 2 Season Pass.

The weapon boasts decent overall performance, has the highest magazine cap for semi-automatic pistols (20 default and 30 upgraded) and the highest armor penetration stat of any sidearm, but hampered by its low rate of fire.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

In the debut trailer, Midas is seen using a suppressed FNX-45 (although in the game itself, his sidearm is a suppressed Beretta M9 ). Both La Plaga and La Yuri uses the weapon when confronted (although La Yuri will opt to mount an M134 when encountered). The FNX-45 is the player's starting pistol in the game, labeled as the P45T.

Due to its status of being a starter weapon; it has low damage, but high handling, even compared to other sidearms. Strangely, the handgun shares a lot of common stats with the M9 pistol (especially the damage) rather than other .45 caliber handguns, so it acts more like its smaller sibling, the FNP-9.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Heckler & Koch USP45 Tactical

The Heckler & Koch USP Tactical can be found in a freight yard in the Tabacal province. It appears under the name "P12" (its German military designation) and has a proper 12-round capacity, unlike the USP45 in Rainbow Six: Siege . It has the option of using a 20-round extended magazine. Being a spec-ops tailored weapon, the USP is the second most silent of all the sidearms once the suppressor is mounted, behind only to the Maxim 9.

The weapon can be seen on Kozak's leg holster during Operation: Silent Spade, but he never actually uses it.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

IMI Desert Eagle

A highly stylized Desert Eagle is seen in the debut trailer. It is indexed as "D-50" as per most recent Ubisoft titles, and is found at a UNIDAD FOB in northwestern Libertad. A unique D-50 called "La Novena" is awarded to the player when they defeat El Gato. It features an Aztec themed paintjob and engravings with a gunmetal grey and gold two tone. La Yuri keeps a Desert Eagle on her person (although never actually uses it in combat as she goes for the M134 minigun near her instead) and sometimes used by cartel lieutenants. Major Cole D. Walker uses a Desert Eagle in Operation Oracle.

Due to the lack of a threaded barrel (and general difficulty of silencing large-caliber handguns), the weapon cannot accept a silencer.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The Luger P08 is available in the "Veteran" Ghost pack. It has custom details and white grip panels with S.P.Q.R written on them. S.P.Q.R. is an initialism for the Latin phrase Senātus Populusque Rōmānus , literally translated as Roman Senate and People but more freely as The Senate and the People of Rome , which was the motto of the Roman Republic.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

An M1911A1 with gold plating and ornate engraving can be seen in the Cartel Cinematic trailer. A standard issue M1911A1 with a railed frame and threaded barrel can also be recovered in a locked weapons box on a cattle ranch in the southeastern part of the Ocoro province, simply labeled as the "M1911." The M1911A1 starts with an 8-round magazine, and can be modified to accept 15-round extended magazines, various tactical laser sights, and a detachable suppressor. A two-tone version with a black slide, khaki frame, and grip panels to resemble the M45A1 CQBP was added as the "M1911 MARSOC" in Title Update 15 and can only be acquired from Battle Crates.

The slide incorrectly designates it as the "1911-A2", which is a 1911 variant manufactured by Rock Island Armory (although the gun in game is not an RIA 1911A2, as demonstrated by the lack of ability to use double-stack magazines).

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Ruger LC380

The Ruger LC380 , an updated version of the Ruger LCP , is given to the player upon completing the El Emisario chapter in the Ocoro province. It is referred to as "The BFF," despite apparently being a licensed model with detailed trademarks, although this is likely due to the unique naming of boss-unlocked weapons. Strangely, the weapon is one of the more powerful sidearms in the game, surpassing the damage and recoil of all the other vanilla sidearms besides the Desert Eagle. This is even stranger given that its chambered for .380 ACP rounds, the smallest caliber out of any weapon in the game.

Its sights are misaligned, causing its point of impact to be well above its point of aim. It also lacks a threaded barrel, so it cannot be silenced.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

SIG-Sauer P227

The SIG-Sauer P227 can be found in a Santa Muerte house in north-central Malca and is labeled as the "P227." The P227 starts with a 10-round magazine, and can be modified to accept 15-round extended magazines, various tactical laser sights, and a detachable suppressor. This is the first appearance of this P220 variant in any media.

Suppressed P227s are notably used by a trio of cartel surgeons operating an unethical clinic in Remanzo, where they turn desperate locals into drug mules . This is the only place in the game where the weapon can be picked up from an enemy.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

SilencerCo Maxim 9

Available for real currency from the in-game shop is the integrally-suppressed SilencerCo Maxim 9 , as part of the "Silent" Ghost Pack. Referred to as the "Whisper" in-game. This is the first major media appearance of this handgun.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Colt Python

A Colt Python with a 6 inch barrel is part of the western-themed "Last Chance" Ghost pack. It is referred to as ".357 Joker".

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Colt 1851 Navy

A Colt 1851 Navy , called the "Peacemaker" (a nickname more commonly associated with the Single Action Army ), is included in the Civil War and Antique Firearms packs.

Submachine Guns

C1 sterling.

The Canadian produced Sterling SMG variant from Rainbow Six: Siege can be acquired from a quinoa processing plant in central Remanzo. Like the one in R6S, it appears to be modeled after the MGC Sterling with its unique round front sight.

Due to the lack of rails, the weapon cannot use a handguard-mounted laser sight or underbarrel attachment (although it's fully capable of using optical attachments using a top-mounted rail that magically appears during customization). It is also the only SMG in the game that cannot be silenced, as it lacks a threaded barrel (or a long-enough protrusion to allow attachment of a screw-on suppressor, even with the custom long-barrel mod). By default, it comes with a 34-round magazine with no other mods to size, giving it the third largest magazine capacity for an SMG.

A unique version of the C1 Sterling, "Experimento #42", is awarded to the player when they capture El Cerebro, it comes with an ATPIAL laser sight and a custom wooden foregrip both of which is not available on the regular version.

The weapon is only used by one character: a cartel informant who is meeting with an UNIDAD captain to reveal CIA spies in UNIDAD.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1

A CZ Scorpion Evo 3 A1 can be seen being loaded by a cartel gunman in the "Fight for the Wildlands" trailer, although no faction actually uses this weapon in-game. The gun itself is located in a UNIDAD firebase in Koani.

Players who have played Rainbow Six: Siege can get a Rainbow Six themed Scorpion Evo 3 via Ubisoft Club for free, it can also be bought in the in game store. Strangely, the R6 Scorpion cannot mount a silencer, despite it using the default muzzle attachment.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

CZ Skorpion Vz.61

The original Sa. Vz.61 Skorpion is also featured in the game. As with the MAC-10, it is a very common weapon used among regular cartel hoodlums, the more experienced of whom dual-wield them as firm believers of the "Rule of Cool". Alternatively, some might opt to carry one Skorpion and one MAC-10 instead. Some Kataris 26 rebels may also be armed with a Skorpion, but only use them one at at time, in comparison to their coke-fueled opponents. As with the M10, the only modification for the Vz.61 is the option to extend or fold the stock and cannot be silenced. Additionally, both weapons are classified as sidearms due to their small size. For some reason, it holds 30 rounds in the normal 20-round banana magazine, the polar opposite of the M10 which is modeled with a 32-round magazine but only holds 20 rounds in-game. It can be unlocked in the Remanzo province.

It is incorrectly classified as a 9x19mm weapon. While a modernized variant of the Skorpion is able to use this cartridge, Skorpions that used a curved magazine all used .32 ACP rounds.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

In one of the released screenshots a Ghost operative can be seen with an FN P90 slung on his back. It is available from a weapon crate from the large cartel base in La Cruz. It has the second highest magazine capacity of the sub-machine gun class, thanks to its default 50-round magazine.

For some reason, its not able to use a PEQ-15 laser attachment, but can use any other side-attachment available. It can also be turned into a fully-automatic PS90 carbine by installing the long-barrel attachment.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Heckler & Koch MP5 MLI

The Heckler & Koch MP5 MLI is the starting SMG given to all Ghosts at the beginning of the game. Much like the P416, it's a decent weapon, but due to its status as a starter gun, it's largely inferior to all other guns in its class.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Heckler & Koch MP7A1

The Heckler & Koch MP7A1 appears as the "MP7". It can be found in a guard tower in an outpost in the Barvechos province.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Heckler & Koch UMP

The Heckler & Koch UMP45 was added for free to Year 2 Pass owners in Special Operation 4. It accurately holds 25 rounds in the magazine.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Ingram MAC-10

One of the most common guns used by the Santa Blanca Cartel gangsters is the Ingram MAC-10 , which are chambered to use 9x19mm rounds. Being firm adherents to the "rule of cool", higher-level sicarios will typically dual-wield them during an engagement (something the player cannot do). Some might also opt to carry a Vz.61 Skorpion and a MAC-10 instead.

Although the player can pretty much pick one up an any time from a cartel goon, it can be unlocked for use in the inventory from a quarry in Pucara. For whatever reason, the only modifiable element of the M10 is the option to extend or collapse the stock, and it cannot change magazines or use a silencer (something the MAC-10 is famous for). The lack of a silencer would make sense for balance reasons, as it would essentially give you a silenced weapon with 20 rounds and a close quarters SMG with just a couple button presses to change the firemode and unscrew the silencer all in the same slot, but all guns in Wildlands, with the exceptions of sniper rifles, are near identical in sound level when suppressed, and as such, a player can already do that with any SMG or AR. As with the other recent Ubisoft titles, it appears as the "SMG-11". It is also carried as a sidearm, in the player's pistol slot.

Despite being modeled with a 32-round magazine, the Ingram magazines only hold a meager 20 rounds in game, while the opposite is the case for the Vz. 61 Skorpion.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Izhmash PP-19 Bizon-2

The Izhmash PP-19 Bizon returns from the previous game; it was first seen in the "Fight for the Wildlands" trailer. The Bizon is a fairly popular weapon carried by cartel goons. It is found on a barge serving as a cocaine lab floating in eastern part of the massive lake in Agua Verde, rounding out the arsenal of it and the Saiga-12 and SR-3M that some Russian must've lost in that province. A unique variant of the Bizon, "Residuos" (meaning "Waste"), is awarded to the player when they capture El Pozolero. It has a dirty and rusty look, likely referencing the fact that its former wielder has now corroded into toxic soup, with a white and black two tone and only comes equipped with a Kobra sight. It is the highest-capacity sub-machine gun in the game with 64 rounds in its magazine.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Izhmash PP-19-01 Vityaz-SN

Another weapon carried over from Rainbow Six Siege , the PP-19-01 Vityaz is an SMG available for the players arsenal. It's stored in a fairly massive Santa Blanca stronghold in the Inca Camina province. A unique variant of the PP-19, "¡UY!", is awarded to the player when they capture El Chido. It comes with a PK-AS sight, an ATPIAL laser sight and its stock folded.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The Patriot Ordnance Factory PSG is stored in a cartel stronghold in the San Mateo sector. The PSG is the pistol-caliber carbine counterpart to the POF P416 .

The weapon is used by the Peruvian negotiator who appears during the assassination order on La Cabra.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

SIG-Sauer MPX

The SIG-Sauer MPX is another SMG available in the game. It can be found in a weapon crate in the Mojocoyo province. It has most visual features of the MPX Gen 2, such as the ejection port and the KeyMod handguard, although it is modeled with the MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail of earlier versions, as well as being fitted with the collapsible stock of early MPX prototypes. The HUD icon shows it with a Gen 1 stock, though.

Some higher level cartel sicarios also use the SIG MPX with an ELCAN Specter scope mounted.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

TDI/KRISS Vector

The TDI Vector appears named "Vector .45 ACP", as it has been in Ubisoft shooters since Far Cry 3 . The Vector is stored in a very well defended UNIDAD base in the northern half of Media Luna. By default it uses 15 round magazines; 25 rounders must be unlocked from an accessory box. The weapon has the highest rate of fire of all SMGs while having the smallest magazine sizes, but is compensated by having an equally fast reload time. The weapon is used by UNIDAD officers.

A unique variant of the Vector, called the "Mendeleyev" is awarded to the player when they capture Marcus Jensen, which mentions it was gifted to him but Marcus never actually uses a weapon. It has a carved skull over the magwell and sports a white paintjob.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Rifles / Carbines

A hybrid between the AK-47 and the MPi-KM-72 (a German clone of the AKM) appears in the game as the "AK-47". It has the milled receiver and smooth handguard of an AK-47, but with the D-E selector markings, ribbed receiver cover, non-ported gas tube, and bayonet lug of an MPi-KM-72. The weapon was first seen on the table opposite the Desert Eagle, and also in the hands of one of the cartel members in the trailers. In the final game, the AK can be found in the Libertad province. It is also the primary weapon of rebel riflemen, where it sports a camo-green stock and 20 round magazine.

The AK-47's handguard does not have any rails, thus apart from the GP-25 grenade launcher; it cannot mount underbarrel attachments, although a later update allowed it to use laser sights by mounting it on the gun's side-rail on the receiver. The only stock upgrades available for it is the Romanian side-folding stock, rather than the traditional under-folding stocks used by AKS-47s. It also has an option for a short carbine barrel and long marksman barrel, despite the AK-47 officially only having a 415mm barrel.

However, two special AK variants can be unlocked by completing the main story missions in the Itacua province where players begin the game. They are referred to "His AK-47" and "Her AK-47," belonging to morbid lovebirds; El Polito and La Yuri, Santa Blanca's chief medical officers, who also happen to be their chief interrogators/torturers.

Several rebels also carry AK-47s with a woodland camo pattern on the stock.

Russian Spetsnaz operators (stated to be Bodark by Bowman) are seen with AK-74s in La Plaga's briefing video.

A usable AK-74 was later added in Title Update 17, where it can only be obtained through loot crates. It uses black synthetic furniture and an aftermarket KeyMod handguard rail. Unfortunately, its mods are quite limited with it having a total of one buttstock, one magazine size, and one barrel length.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

An AK-12 can be seen in the hands of a Cartel member in the "Fight for the Wildlands" trailer. The AK-12 can be found in a locked weapons box in Tobacal. A unique AK-12 called "Ritmo" is awarded to the player when they defeat DJ Perico, another variant of the AK-12 called the "GR Network" is available if players has connected to the Ghost Recon Network and tagged 10 Ghost profiles. The weapon is used by mid-level cartel riflemen, who use it with a white Kryptek camo pattern and 20-round magazines. The gun in the same set-up is also used by John Kozak , during Operation: Silent Spade.

The in-game customization menu claims it uses 7.62x39mm rounds. Although an AK-12 prototype was made in that caliber; its in-game performance is closer to that of a 5.56mm rifle, and its magazine is modeled after the 5.45x39mm magazine, hence its more likely it uses the newer 5.45mm cartridge.

CZ 805 BREN

The CZ 805 BREN is the weapon of choice for higher-level cartel riflemen, who uses it with a Kobra sight and G33 magnifier. Its also strangely used by El Commandante, a corrupt Unidad war hero, instead of his organization's standard-issue R5 RGP. It can be unlocked from a storage site in central Villa Verde. It is indexed as "805 Bren A2", which is incorrect since it initially starts with the standard 14.2 inch barrel, making it the A1 variant. It can still turn into the A2 variant however, by installing the 10.9 inch short barrel. A unique CZ 805 called "El Comandante" is rewarded to the player when they defeat the UNIDAD commander El Commandante in the Unidad Conspiracy missions. It has a Magpul D60 drum magazine which cannot be found in the open world.

The 805 BREN is strangely the most flexible assault rifle in the game. It is the only assault rifle that is capable of changing buttstocks, has all 3 firing mode options, all 3 barrel lengths, and mount all handguard attachments.

Desert Tech Micro Dynamic Rifle

The Desert Tech Micro Dynamic Rifle is an assault rifle introduced in the "Fallen Ghosts" DLC, where it is only called "MDR". Quite confusingly, its initial 30-round magazine is for 7.62x51mm rounds, but its 20 and 50-round magazines are for 5.56x45mm rounds. While the MDR does have official conversion kits that allows it to use 7.62x51mm, 5.56x45mm, and .300 Blackout rounds (which would somewhat explain this discrepancy); this is not reflected in the weapon's damage stats, as the game treats it like a 5.56mm weapon regardless. It is obtained upon successfully completing all 3 intelligence gathering missions on Tomas Ortega. Los Extranjeros Jammer soldiers wield the MDR.

If the player has the "Fallen Ghosts" DLC purchased, the MDR is immediately available upon starting the game, with all optic mounts, a vertical grip, and 20-30 magazines auto-unlocked for it. Likely due to a programming error, if the weapon is unlocked for use in the standard campaign: it will require the 50-round STANAG magazine mod to be unlocked, rather than the 50-round P-MAG mod to allow use of 50-round magazines, despite it only using Magpul PMAGs models in all of its magazine mods.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Indexed ingame as the "G2", the FAMAS G1 is stashed away in a remote mountain hut in the southwestern corner of the map, within the mountainous Inca Camina province. It can only fire in full-automatic or single shots; for some reason there is no trigger pack with the three-round burst fire setting.

The weapon has some of the lowest damage stats for any assault rifle, but makes up for it by having the highest rate of fire of any AR in the game. Additionally, due to the lack of a side-rail, it is not capable of using laser sights.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Another sicario in Perico's briefing video has a standard FN FAL . Los Extranjeros commander Juan Ignacio "El General" Merlo can be seen posing with a FAL variant in his briefing video.

A usable FAL was added as an Ubisoft Club reward for the game's second anniversary on March 7th, 2019, although it was occasionally available in the recently released "Guerilla Mode" from the weapon vendor, even before its official release date. The weapon is stuck in its default configuration, and has no other barrel lengths or alternative stocks available, although it has an array of rails to support various attachments, along with a 30-round magazine. It can also be silenced, even though the gun's default flash hider would realistically not allow a modern silencer to be mounted on it.

Due to the shortness of its rails, its not able to mount any grenade launchers and is not able to use the COMPM4 RDS and Elcan Spectre DR scope, along with setups that require the G33 magnifier. Strangely it can still use the ACOG, despite the COMPM4 and the Spectre being nearly the same size.

FN F2000 Tactical

The FN F2000 Tactical was added with the Special Operation 3 update, it is included with the Silent Spade pack or can be bought separately. Due to the lack of an underside rail (which is strange since the F2000 Tactical is suppose to have a tri-rail on the handguard), it is unable to use under-barrel attachments.

Holt can be seen with a suppressed FN SCAR-H in a pre-release screenshot and is his weapon of choice in the main game. The SCAR-H can be found in a locked weapons box in the UNIDAD-ridden province of "Flor de Oro" and is labeled as the "Mk 17". The SCAR-H starts with a 20-round magazine, and can be modified to accept 30-round extended magazines, various tactical laser sightings, various optical scopes, underbelly foregrips, and the M203 grenade launcher or Heckler & Koch GLM grenade launcher .

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The FN SCAR-L was added in Special Operation 4, purchasable either as part of the Frontline Pack or by itself. 7.62x51mm caliber markings can be seen on the left side of the upper receiver, suggesting that Ubisoft used the same texture as the SCAR-H on it. Its description seemingly references a SCAR-H with a 5.56mm caliber conversion kit installed , although the model itself is based on the SCAR-L.

Heckler & Koch G36C

The Heckler & Koch G36C can be obtained at any time through the Ubisoft club and the player can start the game immediately with this in their armory if they start a new game, with the weapon being a direct upgrade over the P416. However, its unique 30-round magazine and custom stocks are found separately. The weapon is also used by some mid-level sicarios.

The weapon can also be fitted with a 12.5cm "long" barrel, turning it into a pseudo-G36K.

Heckler & Koch HK416F

The Heckler & Koch HK416F , indexed as the "416", is included in the Rainbow Six Equipment Ghost Pack released alongside Title Update 15. A bug in the update resulted in the back up iron sights being flipped down even if no optic is attached to the carbine, but this was fixed in a hotfix that also added an 11.5" barrel based on community feedback. Team Rainbow operator Twitch is armed with an HK416F during the missions Operation Revenge and Operation Archangel, likely standing in for the HK417 she uses in Rainbow Six: Siege (although her other primary weapon, the FAMAS , is already in the game). This is the first appearance of this particular HK416 variant in any media.

IWI US Galil ACE GAR1639

The Galil ACE GAR1639 was added as part of Title Update 16. It fires in fully-automatic mode, meaning it is intended to pass for the Galil ACE 32 military version. It is indexed as the "AC-AR" (the same Ubisoft designation from Watch_Dogs ) and can only be obtained through Battle Crates.

Knight's Armament Company PDW

The Knight's Armament Company PDW appears in game as the "SR-635" (which is actually the name of another KAC product, a normal short-barreled AR15 design chambered in the same 6x35mm caliber), and is classified as a submachine gun by the game. Midas carries the PDW as his weapon of choice in-game, equipped with a Kobra sight. Its also used by Emilio, a cartel deserter in Montuyoc, who strangely uses the same setup and color-scheme as Midas' PDW.

It is located in a coca paste factory in the northern edge of the Ocoro province.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The L85A2 is one of the game's unlockable assault rifles. It comes with a 20-round STANAG magazine by default, an optic rail, a Daniel Defense railed forend, and Troy back-up sights. Due to a glitch, mounting either an ACOG or COMPM2 sight results in it being mounted on the fore-end of the gun, despite it showing on the top of the receiver in the inventory.

The L85 is found in the basement of La Santera's home, next to her chapel in Espiritu Santo. It is unusually accurate, in fact it's the most accurate assault rifle in the game, rivaling that of DMRs like the SR25 and G28.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

In the debut trailer a member of the cartel can be seen dropping an M4A1 through the eyes of a scope. Midas can also be seen with one, but ended up armed with a KAC PDW when the game was released. A unique version, dubbed the "M4A1 Tactical" is given to the player after defeating Carl Bookhart, a former US Ranger turned cartel drill instructor. It has a brown paint job, Aimpoint CompM4 sight, vertical grip, and can only be fired on semi-auto despite its fire selector switch. When encountered however, Bookhart does not use this weapon and instead opts to use the standard M4s used by all other cartel riflemen. A second unique variant, the "M4A1 Commando", comes from the Special Forces pack, and has an Aimpoint CompM4 sight like the Tactical, as well as a darker paint job, a wrapped handguard, and what seems to be a piece of a winter parka on the stock to serve as an improvised cheekpad.

The M4A1 can be recovered from a locked weapons box in Floro De Oro, around a UNIDAD-controlled sawmill. The weapon is versatile as due to its balanced performance and large modification pool. Some mid-level sicarios also carry M4A1s which has a mounted red dot sight and 20-round magazine. The M4A1 also seems to be the default primary weapon for NPCs during certain animations, even if they're suppose to use another weapon (although this was likely done to ease animation concerns as these events can involve any random NPC). Rather bafflingly, despite having an adjustable stock it is not possible to extend the M4A1's stock and so it always remains in the fully retracted position, in addition to being ridiculously oversized.

Returning from Ghost Recon: Future Soldier , the Magpul PDR is part of the Fallen Ghosts DLC, and is awarded to the player upon successfully doing all 3 intelligence gathering missions on Dante Cruzar. As with the KAC PDW, it is categorized as a sub-machinegun in-game, despite being a compact bullpup-style assault rifle.

If the player has the "Fallen Ghosts" DLC purchased, the PDR is immediately available upon starting the game, with all optic mounts unlocked for it. Due to a programming error or lack of related class-upgrades (as there are no 5.56mm SMGs), to unlock the 30-round magazine for the weapon: the player has to obtain the KAC PDW's 30-round 6x35mm magazine upgrade, although the PDR was never chambered in that round.

Q Honey Badger

The Q Honey Badger chambered to use .300 AAC rounds was added with the Special Operations 3 update on December 11th, 2018. Previously, the weapon could be unlocked by completing the December 19, 2018 challenges, but after that ended it can now only be obtained from the Ubisoft store. It's incorrectly classified as a submachine gun and its suppressor cannot be removed (although the Honey Badger in real life can function with or without an attached suppressor).

Interestingly, when applying a camo or a paint job: the handguard and stock will remain light gray.

Remington ACR

In one of the released screenshots a Ghost operative can be seen with a Remington ACR slung on his back. It is also the default rifle of Nomad during in-game cinematics (even though he uses the KAC LMG A1 in all promotional material), where it sports a collapsible stock, EOTech XPS, 14" barrel, and worn tan finish, although in some cutscenes it will instead sport a black finish instead. The ACR can be found in a locked weapons box in the village of La Loma in the Media Luna province, which contains a UNIDAD combat outpost. It starts out with a standard 20-round magazine, and can be modified to accept 30 or 50-round magazines, various tactical laser sightings, various optical scopes, underbarrel foregrips, and the M203 grenade launcher or Heckler & Koch GLM grenade launcher .

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Remington R5 RGP

The Remington R5 RGP appears in the game as an unlockable weapon, stored in the abandoned Agronomic Center in northern Monte Puncu. In-game it is the standard carbine of UNIDAD, a corrupt Bolivian military police unit, who uses the standard configuration with an attached Elcan SpecterDR scope. Despite having a selector switch, it is not possible to switch the R5 to semi-auto, and thus it only fires in fully automatic.

SR-3M Vikhr

Returning from the previous game , the SR-3M can be found in a cartel-controlled town in the Agua Verde province. The weapon is used by higher-level members of the Kataris 26 rebels, who uses it with a 20-round magazine and the gun is fully painted green.

SIG-Sauer SIG556xi Russian SWAT

The SIG556xi Russian SWAT can be found in a dump in the rainforest region of Caimanes. It is indexed as "556xi", similar to the version in Rainbow Six: Siege . A variant called "SIG556 Llama" is awarded to all players who have participated in the open beta, but can be bought from the store.

For some reason, the weapon can only use the M203 grenade launcher attachment, as the H&K GLM is not available for use on this weapon.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Steyr AUG A3-CQC

A Steyr AUG A3-CQC can be found in a base in the western half of Bervechos. By default, it is equipped with regular 30-round magazines that only hold 20 rounds; the 30-round magazine is modeled out of the extended 42-round AUG magazine. It can also be fitted with an abnormally long barrel mod that appears to be based on the AUG HBAR.

The weapon has above-average handling and accuracy compared to other 5.56mm rifles, but suffers from an abnormally low armor-penetration stat (which is strange, since it has a default 18 inch barrel, some of the longest in the game's armory).

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The IWI TAR-21 is another assault rifle that returns from Future Soldier . It is found in the town of Choza Padre in the Montuyoc province. The weapon's description refers to it as the "IDF standard rifle", although the IDF has replaced it with the MTAR-21. By default, it is actually a CTAR-21 with the 64cm barrel, but can be turned back into a normal TAR-21 with the long barrel modification.

Los Extranjeros footmen also use the CTAR-21 as their service weapon, although only using a 20 round magazine and oddly, with iron sights instead of any kind of optics.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The POF P416 appears in Ghost Recon Wildlands as the first assault rifle available to the player. Its description refers to it as a "high end update" to the M4, but due to it being one of the game's three starting weapons (along with the MP5 and FNX-45), its stats are abysmally low and has very little customization options. A variant called the P416 "Micteca" was awarded to players who completed Season 2's challenges.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Pac Katari is shown holding a Vektor R4 in El Commandante's briefing video. The R4 is properly introduced into the game in the "Fallen Ghosts" DLC, where it is called simply the "R4" and obtained after defeating Tomas Ortega. The weapon features a polymer folding stock and a railed handguard (which causes attached optics to be mounted at the barrel part of the gun). For some reason, the game states that the weapon uses 7.62x39mm round; only the Galil ACE 30-series is chambered for this cartridge. Even more confusing is that it uses two types of magazines; the model for the 20-round mag is from the AK-12, and the 30-round mag is its factory 35-round 5.56x45mm magazine. It is also the main weapon of Los Extranjeros heavy armored soldiers, who use it with the stock folded.

If the player has the "Fallen Ghosts" DLC purchased, the R4 is immediately available upon starting the game, with all optic mounts, a vertical grip, and 20-30 magazines auto-unlocked for it.

War Sport LVOA-S

The War Sport LVOA-S from The Division is part of a thematic Ghost pack available for free for any player that owns both The Division and GRW. It cannot be customized for some reason, and only holds a meager 20 rounds in 30 round PMAGs. Another variant of the LVOA-C was added with the Tier 1 update called LVOA-C Bad News which is unlocked by reaching Tier 5 in Tier 1 mode, it has an EXPS3 with a G33 magnifier, an M203 grenade launcher, an ATPIAL laser sight and a detachable suppressor. The magazine correctly holds 30 in this variant. A customizable LVOA-S (with almost identical stats to the Division -themed LVOA) was finally added in the "Relentless Fight" Ghost Pack with Title Update 16. As all three versions of the LVOA use the same base model, they all lack forward assists, gas tubes, and gas blocks.

A custom M16/SP1 with a detachable carry handle and M203 heatshield is included in the Predator Ghost Pack, the contents of which are based on the eponymous film franchise. Thus, the M16 is intended to represent the M16/SP1 used by Major Alan "Dutch" Schaefer ( Arnold Schwarzenegger ) in Predator . The visible castle nut between the buttstock and receiver and M203 groove on the barrel shows how Ubisoft reused some of the M4A1's model components. It is equipped with an M203 grenade launcher by default, even if the player hasn't unlocked the grenade launcher skill.

It is stored in at a UNIDAD FOB where an early main story mission occurs in Itacua. A unique variant, "El Cuentista" (Spanish for "storyteller") is awarded to the player when they defeat El Wey. It has a custom red paint job.

It has significantly more damage than the standard HTI, it comes with a unique hexagon camo and detachable suppressor.

The HTI is the most powerful firearm in the game, capable of destroying a helicopter with a single, direct hit (while other bolt-action rifles needs 2 hits).

The Dragunov SVD is located in a weapon crate in a camp in the southwestern-most corner of the Villa Verde province. An SVDS can be made from the appropriate stock and barrel mods. A unique SVD called "Lanza Sagrada" (meaning "Holy Spear") is awarded to the player when they capture La Santera.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Zastava M93 Black Arrow

The Zastava M93 Black Arrow was added in Title Update 16. It is indexed as the "Z93 AMR" and can only be obtained through Battle Crates.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Machine Guns

Krytac trident lmg-e.

The Krytac Trident LMG-E, an airsoft gun based on the Ares Shrike is available in the game, under the odd designation of "MK249" despite not being based on the M249 SAW or any other FN Minimi derivative in the slightest. It is the weapon of UNIDAD heavy soldiers.

It is stored in a weapon box in a cartel outpost in the Malca province. A unique variant called the "Llamativo" (which means Flashy ) is awarded to the player after they have interrogated Carzita. It has an EXPS3, a foregrip and sports a flashy black and gold paintjob, and is used by Carzita's particularly hostile manager when attempting to assassinate him.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

A heavily engraved Bren Gun is the primary weapon of the "Veteran" Ghost Pack. It's missing both the carry handle and the bipod, the latter of which is replaced with a vertical wood foregrip.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Heckler & Kock HK121

The Heckler & Koch HK121 , indexed in game as the "MG121," can be found fairly early on in the game, at a cartel outpost in the starting province of Itacua. It is modeled with a 50-round drum magazine that is incorrectly given a capacity of 90 rounds. It also has a three-round burst mode that the real HK121 lacks.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Knight's Armament LMG A1

Nomad is armed with a Knight's Armament LMG A1 machine gun in the "Stealth Takedown" trailer, and also appears to be his preferred weapon in his appearances in artworks (although he uses a Remington ACR in in-game cinematics). It is referred to as the "Stoner LMG A1" in-game, and it is one of two light machine guns that can be fitted with a sound suppressor. The KAC LMG can be found in the fortifications around El Sueño's massive mausoleum in Pucara.

Nomad's LMG A1 has an EOTech EXPS3 with a G33 magnifier mounted in artworks where this weapon is depicted, but it is not actually possible to replicate this setup on LMGs in-game, as all of them can only use standard red dot sights.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Mk 43 Mod 1

The Mk 43 Mod 1 version of the M60E4 was added in Title Update 17. Its designation is incorrect however, as its only called the "M60E4", instead of its correct Naval designation.

Its currently only obtainable through loot crates.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Mk 48 Mod 0

In the debut trailer, Nomad is seen using a Mk 48 Mod 0 to great effect. Cartel gunman are seen using them in the "Fight or the Wildlands" trailer. It is located at a Santa Muerte pilgrim house in eastern Espirtu Santo.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

PKP Pecheneg

The PKP Pecheneg is the standard machine gun used by the heavy soldiers of both the Santa Blanca cartel and the Kataris 26 rebels. As with other Ubisoft titles, it appears under its GRAU designation of "6P41." It also has the railed forend of the Zenitco bullpup conversion. The PKP is stored in weapon crate in a large UNIDAD base in Media Luna. Strangely, it cannot mount an underbarrel grip, despite clearly showing that it has rails on the underside capable of supporting such attachments.

A unique variant called "El Bastón" ("The Cane" in Spanish) is awarded to the player when they defeat Madre Coca. This version sports a wooden stock and grip, making it a look like a faux- PKM . Madre Coca herself uses the weapon when she and her sicarios attempted to ambush the Ghosts during a hostage negotiation.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Known in game simply as the "Type 95", the QBB-95 also returns from the previous game and is stored in a UNIDAD forward operating base in the Remanzo province. Although the menu icon and several official images shows it loaded with the standard drum magazine, the Type-95 uses a extended magazine that somehow carries 75 rounds. The game claims it also uses 5.56x45mm rounds, however, it does not have any of the features of the Type-97 variant; if anything, the magazine looks mostly like some extended 7.62x39mm AK mag.

The "short barrel" mod gives the QBB-95 a barrel similar to the 745 mm (29.3 in) of the QBZ-95.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

A heavily customized RPK is available as DLC or as part of the Deluxe Edition. It has a custom RIS handguard/scope mount combo and Magpul PRS stock, and somehow manages to cram a whopping 175 rounds into a normal 75-round RPK drum magazine. It is incorrectly named as "UNIDAD's RPK-74".

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Ultimax 100 Mark 5

The Ultimax 100 Mark 5 was added in Title Update 16 as part of the "Operator" Ghost Pack that was free to all Year 2 Season Pass owners. It is indexed as the "U100", lacks a barrel changing handle, and holds 100 rounds crammed into a Magpul Pmag D60 60-round drum magazine. It is one of two machine guns that can take a suppressor.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Orion Flare Gun

The Orion Flare Gun appears as a unlockable skill in the Item skill tree where it can be used to attract enemies. Rather realistically, the flare's bright glare makes friendly thermal and night vision largely unusable if used within its vicinity.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The Crossbow, introduced into the game in the "Fallen Ghosts" DLC, It is also the main weapon of Los Extranjeros Covet Ops soldiers.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Jackdaw Pistol

A Flintlock Pistol , named the "Jackdaw Pistol" after Edward Kenway's ship in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag , is included in the Assassin's Creed Ghost Pack.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

A Musket with a "Long Malcolm" scope is included in the Civil War and Antique Weapons packs. Even though it is implied to be a Civil War weapon, its wooden body and stock is actually based on 17th century matchlock muskets which is converted to percussion lock.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Plasmacaster

The Yautja creature encountered by Nomad's team in Caimanes uses a Plasmacaster as its primary ranged weapon, where it uses its signature tri-laser sight before firing. The gun is capable of instantly incapacitating anyone shot by it, the projectile has a slight homing effect (although it can only alter its course by a small amount) and has a small area of effect, making it devastating against small groups of clustered targets. It however, cannot penetrate surfaces and the Predator stands completely still and uncloaked while using the weapon.

As a side note, the Predator is also armed with a smartdisk, which it will throw when attempting to snipe at players from the tree-tops.

On November 21st, 2020, it was announced that Ubisoft would be removing the Predator mission from the game on December 14th of that year.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Mounted Guns

Dillon aero m134 minigun.

Dillon Aero M134 Minigun appears as the only mounted gun in the game, fulfilling the role of the game's heavy machine gun. It has an unusually (if not unrealistic) wide-spread availability, given that everyone from UNIDAD, to SB sicarios, to even the Bolivian rebels use M134s as their mounted guns of choice, a particularly huge investment for all parties involved since an M134 minigun costs over $20,000 per unit, not including ammunition and maintenance. They can also function without active power sources, as there are several instances of M134s placed simply on a tripod mount, and not much else.

Another inconsistency is that the miniguns mounted on helicopter hardpoints function as intended, with no spinup time, low recoil and rapid rate of fire (albeit not as fast as the real one for balancing reasons). However, the M134s found mounted on vehicles or guard towers suffer from an unusually slow RoF, wide spread, and still has a spinup time.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

M197 Vulcan

The AH-1W Cobra attack helicopters used by UNIDAD have rather short-looking M197 Vulcan guns mounted in the chin turret, although they behave similar to the M134 Minigun mentioned above.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

M242 Bushmaster Chaingun

An M242 Bushmaster chaingun loaded with high-explosive incendiary tracer rounds can be found mounted on LAV-III IFVs used by both Unidad and Santa Blanca. The gun is extremely powerful and accurate, easily capable of demolishing vehicles in a single shot, and remains accurate over a long distance. It also has small area of effect, allowing it to also devastate groups of enemies with short salvos.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Underbarrel grenade launchers are only available on assault rifles after unlocking the "Grenade Launcher" skill in the weapons tree.

M203 grenade launcher

The M203 grenade launcher appears as an underbarrel accessory for a for all 5.56x45mm firearms and uniquely: the SIG556xi. Judging by the style of RIS mount, it appears to be based on an airsoft model. A real M203 appears on an M16A2 in Carl Bookhart's briefing video. Despite being obtained in a weapons case, this weapon functions entirely like the standard grenade launcher, and use of the M203 over the GLM or EGLM is entirely cosmetic.

It comes attached to the M16 as part of its base configuration even before it's unlocked.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Heckler & Koch GLM

The Heckler & Koch GLM appears as the "Standard Grenade Launcher". This launcher is used for most non-bullpup western-made weapons. It is incorrectly shown as muzzle-loaded like the GP-25.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The FN EGLM appears as an underbarrel accessory for the bullpup assault rifles, namely the FAMAS, TAR-21, L85A2, and the Desert Tech MDR. Rather confusingly, it shares the name "Standard Grenade Launcher" with the aforementioned H&K GLM, although this is due to bullpups and conventional-pattern weapons using two separate grenade launcher models. It is incorrectly depicted as muzzle-loaded like the GP-25; the EGLM is loaded similar to the M203 in real life, by sliding the barrel forward.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

GP-25 Grenade Launcher

The Russian counterpart to the M203, the GP-25 grenade launcher, appears in Ghost Recon: Wildlands as the "GP-25 GL".

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

M120 Mortar

The M120 mortar can be found emplaced in various Santa Blanca and Unidad bases around Bolivia in harder provinces. When the Ghosts alerts an enemy camp that has mortars available; they'll attempt to bombard their last-known position, until the alert dies down or they move out of range. This can be avoided, either by killing the crewman manning the mortar, or outright blowing it up by dropping explosives onto it.

It is also used by the Kataris 26 rebels when the "Mortar Strike" support asset is used, who are somehow able to carry and setup the weapon in just a few seconds, while being able to drop a fairly accurate barrage that would put drilled mortar crewmen to shame, all from well within the mortar's minimum range.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Grenades and Explosives

M112 c4 demolition pack.

C4 charges can be unlocked in the Skill system. They are pretty faithful to the typical M112 C4 brick form.

The weapon can be thrown like a grenade, will automatically stick to any surface thrown to, and can be manually detonated by holding the appropriate button. Alternatively, the C4 charge can also prematurely detonate when shot or caught in another explosion, which is not possible in real life as C4 charges are designed to remain inert at all times, until triggered with a detonator.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

M26 Hand Grenade

The M26 hand grenade is the frag grenade of choice in Bolivia. M26s can be seen sitting atop ammunition resupply boxes. Four can be seen on the ALICE web gear added as part if the "Relentless Fight" Ghost Pack with Title Update 16.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

M18 Smoke Grenade

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

M84 Flashbang Grenade

The Flashbang skill unlocks M84 stun grenades for use in game.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

The "Mine" skill allows the player to deploy TS-50 anti-personnel mines , although ironically only vehicles can trigger them.

The standard mine will detonate when a vehicle runs over it, capable of destroying it completely. These mines cannot be thrown however, and can only be planted on the spot where you're standing.

mk 18 ghost recon wildlands

Proximity Mine

A fictional proximity mine loosely based on the Soviet PMN-2 mine was added in Special Operation 1.

The proximity version is smaller and does less damage (requiring two mines to destroy a sedan), but is designed that it will only detonate when an enemy-type vehicle gets near it, preventing civilian vehicles from accidentally setting it off (although this does mean that if you're driving an enemy vehicle and get near a proximity mine; it will still detonate). Unlike standard mines, proximity mines are thrown when deployed, do not need any skills to unlock (although this does mean you can't get more than 3 p-mines) and they can stick onto the surfaces of vehicles like C4.
