Viral Video: Man performs to Michael Jackson’s song while ‘weathering the storm’

With more time in their hands than they are used to thanks to the coronavirus lockdown, people around the world are showcasing their creative side to fight boredom. Recently, a video of a man in Mizoram giving a glimpse of his dancing skills during a cyclonic storm in the state has gone viral.

In the video, Jeremy l Ralte can be seen doing a live performance on Michael Jackson’s song ‘Earth’ from his popular album “Thriller”. “2020 ain’t got nothin’ on us!! Stay Strong people. Remember me, even in your worst weathers,” Ralte wrote while sharing the video.

Mizoram Man Gives the Performance of His Life, Dances to Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' in Rainstorm

There's no stopping him. Not even a storm.

A man can be seen showing off his dancing skills amidst a heavy storm. He shook a leg on legendary singer Michael Jackson’s track Earth from the well-known album "Thriller".

Sharing the video on Instagram, the MJ fan wrote, “2020 ain’t got nothin’ on us!! Stay Strong people. Boring emai!! • remember me, even in your worst weathers• #cyclone #michaeljackosn #earthsong #quarantine #boring(sic)”.

Jeremy L Ralte, in the video, was seen wearing a pair of red shorts and a black shirt which has not been buttoned. The combination has been paired with sneaker and socks.

Even though the performance was quite intense, towards the end Jeremy can be seen running away and the clip ends with text that reads ‘Help me’’.

According to a report in Indian Express , Jeremy is based out of Mizoram. The now-viral video on Instagram has left many users stunned by his performance.

A person commented on the post stating, “I wish I could play November rain there” another one said, “At last I found the source of the viral, purely local and natural mj. Love from Nagaland, (sic)".

A different user wrote, “At last I found the source of the viral,purely local and natural mj. Love from Nagaland” while some other user “The fact that just made 2020 so better for me is unbelievable (sic).”

'2020 ain't got nothin' on us'- Man performs on Michael Jackson's song while braving the storm, goes viral

The video is posted by Jeremy Ralte from Mizoram who is seen braving the storm and mimicking every one of Michael Jackson's steps and attitude with utmost conviction!

Aizawl:  Coronavirus has really taken over the world as we speak. Everyone has been locked up in their homes, we cannot meet anybody and have to practice social distancing religiously.

Along with that, the weather has also decided to play its games with us. While it is also the upcoming summer season, the rain gods have not spared us from their wrath and are constantly bombarding us with the heavy rains and storms.

Such a scene is seen in the northeastern part of the country. States like Mizoram are facing heavy rainfall and unruly storms at the moment. No one can ever imagine themselves walking outside in such weather.

But we all know how this world works. There are always exceptions to every aspect of the world. Here, we did find one.

A man from Mizoram named Jeremy Ralte has gone viral overnight on social media. Now, he was not just braving the dangerous storms, but he also dared to moonwalk through it. The term ‘moonwalk’ rings a bell, does it not?

Ralte posted a video of his on Instagram yesterday where he was dancing to the iconic dancer Michael Jackson’s song ‘ Earth’  and copying every bit of the signature step he was known for.

The video was posted on Instagram with the caption, “2020 ain’t got nothin’ on us!! Stay strong people! Boring emai!!! Remember me, even in your worst weather.”

Ralte’s moves have been quite the rage on social media. Everybody is gushing about his immaculate recreation of Jackson’s steps, even when the rain was slapping through his face.

One of the users actually tagged director of Jojo Rabbit and Thor: Ragnarok, Taika Waititi and famous talk show host Ellen Degeneres so that they could see his dance moves.
