Mine and other ASMR creators work is being stolen and put on Spotify as ‘podcasts’ without our consent!

There is a 'podcast’ (actually, 'podcasts’ plural but we’ll get there) on Spotify called “Boyfriend audios and more!! by a user called Imagine. They admit the content they are posting is not made by them, but that does not matter. Reposting is not okay, even if you credit the creator, unless you have creator’s consent. It’s still stealing even though they gave credit to the creators, we did not give permission for our work to be put on Spotify. But this person did not ask anyone for permission before doing this. And as it’s on Spotify it’s likely it is monetized (I’m not sure if it’s possible to have un-monetized content on Spotify) meaning this person is possibly making money off reposting our work. Even if they are not making money this is still not okay and it’s still stealing our work. There are so many creators who’s work has been stolen from larger accounts with hundreds of thousands of subscribers to accounts that have a couple hundred subscribers. The 'podcast’ started posting on April 7th 2023 and updated as recently as yesterday (October 24th 2023). Plenty of creators offer downloads of their work on Patreon, or you could get Youtube Premium if you want to listen to them offline, you don’t need to go to unauthorised Spotify reposts. And plenty of audio creators upload their work to Spotify themselves anyway! I’ve seen people’s work reposted on Spotify that already uploaded the work to Spotify themselves anyway. The 'podcast’ currently has 378 ratings (people who have decided to rate it out of 5 stars) so people know it’s there and are listening to it.

Last year I made a vampire Viktor audio and I have had some people to ask for more, so he’s back this year, in a way… sort of. I thought this would be a fun idea, I hope you guys do too.

so.. i sure feel like i invested a lot into a show just for them to not care in the end. and this isn't a 'wah they killed of my fave character so show bad'.

the pacing felt weird, right? i wonder if they wanted 10 episodes but the network only gave them 8? or maybe they just didn't know how to end the show. maybe they're scared they won't get a season 3 and so rushed the end of season 2?

but to build up izzy, to have him talk about belonging to something... only to have him die without anyone telling him they love him. yeah ed said they're family but like. the whole thing felt so sudden, from him being the one with richard to getting shot to dying and then to suddenly haha the silly guitar music is playing guys its funny joke time. like. ed was upset as izzy was dying but then it seemed at his burial that no one really cared. it would have been more impactful if his death had been the final scene of the season.

but wouldn't it have been much better to show izzy finding a family? to have him captain the revenge? to contrast with season 1 and how the crew hated him when he was in charge. to end season 2, end the show, with him captaining the crew and having their respect and their love?

because it really didn't feel like he died for the crew, for his family. because he push someone else out of the way to save them he just got outsmarted by richard (since when is izzy that stupid or not strong enough to hold onto a man?) and got shot. like idk you could have had him die protecting ed or stede or the crew. how on earth could izzy not hold onto a man who's physically weaker than him and how the hell did he let someone else grab his fucking gun. or wait im re-watching it looks like richard just.. grabbed a gun out of his own coat.. i.. did no one search this man and take his weapons off him.. what the fuck.. no im sorry there's no excuse that doesn't make sense for no one to have taken his weapons away that just seems like bad writing.

if you were going to kill him off he deserved a better death.

but he deserved a better ending than this. what's the point of him having this arc of finally caring about people if he dies and it seems no one really cared other than ed and fang?

omg i just read as i'm writing this that jenkins does have a plan for a season 3. okay so now it's only acceptable if con wanted to leave the show so they had to kill off izzy but they still should have done it better. have him fending off the english so the crew can escape. have him taking a bullet for ed. something that means something. omg.

and ed and stede... i don't feel like they're ready for this yet. the only way they should be living together is the end of the show. not the end of a season. they literally only just got back together they need time to grow together.

you really said its a show about people finding love and happiness and then killed off the queer disabled character who got to die while telling his abuser that he loved him. the ending feels like the show saying 'actually not everyone deserved love, if you were an izzy fan you were right to get hate' like. he deserved to be loved by the crew, to be told that they cared. but he didn't get that.

also um?? the crew dont love ed. he literally only just finished torturing them, some of them have ptsd and trauma from what he did to them, and even if they want to forgive him they certainly do not love him yet. they cared much more about you izzy than they did about ed.

and then to have him shot in the left side, the place that ed showed in season 1 was a 'safe place' to get injured i. what.

where the fuck was roach? just watching? not trying to help? does he either not care or not think it's worth trying to save him??

IM SORRY BUTTONS CAN TRANSFORM INTO A BIRD, AUNTIE CAN SURVIVE AN EXPLOSION, JACKIE AND SWEDE ARE IMMUNE TO POISON, BUT IZZY GETTING SHOT IN HIS LEFT SIDE UH OH THAT'S DEATH SORRY.

i love the crew, i love zheng. i like stede and ed's romance but they're never the reason i watched the show. but i found izzy's arc the most meaningful to me. and i. i really don't think i'm going to watch a season 3 if there is one. not just because izzy's not there, but that last episode just felt like they don't care or don't know how to write anymore in a way that i enjoy at least.

to see someone like izzy (who's backstory i thought we would get, at least who the ring belongs too that he wears around his neck but no okay) he disliked because he has to be, he doesn't know how to be soft and be loved or how to love others. to show that a person who has been hurt so much and built themself so hard and buried their real self so far below.. to see that person be able to find themself again, to love others, to let themself be loved, to others see who they are. that meant so much.

so much for this being a happy queer show. for a lot of people he felt like this representation of an older queer man who's just coming out of the closet, exploring himself, there's not another character like that. the disability representation with him this season i've seen has meant a lot of people. his arc isn't the same as any others and a lot of people have found something very personal to connect to in that and i think they have a right to be upset.

to say it makes sense for him to be killed off for the narrative because ed needed to let him go... sounds cruel? izzy is a person, he's not a narrative object to make ed feel better about himself. to have ed abuse izzy, physically abuse him, and then izzy's arc ending with him apologising as if it was his fault (yes he encouraged blackbeard, but please let's not victim blame, let's take male victims of abuse seriously) and saying he still loved ed i just..

to say it makes sense narratively for him to get killed off for other reasons i don't fully disagree, but i think it was too soon, and i think at least it should have been in a way that made sense like him protecting the crew, not allowing richard to STILL HAVE HIS GUN ON HIM DID NO ONE CONFISCATE HIS WEAPONS?? or did he take izzy's gun in which case HOW how would izzy allow richard to take his gun. he's smart and a capable fighter what is this.

i saw someone else say izzy's death had no meaning and no consequence. and they're right. the crew moved on straight away and forgot about him (apart from fang, shout out to fang), and seemed like they didn't care. they aren't seeking revenge. they aren't angry. so it's for.. ed and stede to get together? izzy deserves more than that. and they could have still gotten together anyway... if it's for ed to move on then fuck that. an abuser doesn't get to move on from the abuse he caused because his victim fucking died.

i'd been looking forward to this episode all week after i really terrible week and well. should have known nothing this week was going to plan.

COD GHOST - LISTEN SERVER = PLAYER HOSTED MATCHES = NOT DEDICATED SERVER = HOST LAG

When I bought COD for xbox one I expected the online to be 100% dedicated servers.

Every match Ive played tonight on Call of Duty Ghost (xbox one) was NOT on a dedicated server. ALL LISTEN SERVERS = laggy host

The matches were noticeably laggier. With players teleporting at times AND host migrations.

I feel cheated. A massively successful franchise like should be able to support something as 100% dedicated server matches.

Are you serious? You were seeing host migration? I was under the impression that COD servers would be 100% hosted by Activision's claims in articles as well. I will be really disappointed if this is the truth.

So far, I have only heard of this on the PS4 version. I have not noticed anything as bad as the previous versions though.

no one ever said anything about Ghosts being 100% on dedicated servers. I'm having no connectivity issues on Ghosts, however I can understand that you are angry about this. Just to read up, here's the official statement about servers from Infinity Ward:

I wanted to give a quick update on some of the work that has been done to improve everyone’s online experience. We’ve already mentioned dedicated servers as part of the overall plan to improve connectivity. Dedicated servers will be used on current gen, next gen and PC with Ghosts. And, in order to make sure that people have the best possible experience regardless of platform, location or connection, Ghosts will be using a hybrid system of dedicated servers and listen servers. So no matter where you are the game will always be trying to give you the best online performance possible. There is also some great new tech in the matchmaking system that will place players in matches that have the best combined overall connectivity performance. Again these are just some of the things that are going into Call of Duty: Ghosts to give players a great online experience. Can’t wait to see you all online.”

Now if you don't get connected to dedicated servers, there might just be better hosts for your area. Once the host is better than the server (considering things like a ping check, packet loss and jitter) you will be connected to a listen server - the thing with these is obviously that a host is a person who may have network problems in his home or might just rage quit even though you generally have a better connection to him than to the nearest server.

Don't be too angry though, Activision is still rolling out more and more servers, there might just be some places closer to you and you'll get on servers more.

At the end of the day, I don't believe that a Listen Server is ever better than a Dedicated Server. 7+ gaming on the 360 have clearly proven that.

Dedicated servers are just that "dedicated" While Listen servers are crappy home connections, with other people in those households using their ipods and laptops all on that same Listen Server Internet connection running on poor WiFi signals.

Side by side... a dedicated connection wins every time.

Infinity Ward is just using this as an excuse to save a buck.

you are right, I prefer dedicated servers too, but listen servers have advantages too, given there's certain requirements met.

I will give you an example:

I have a 100k, wired DSL connection to a very stable net using a very stable router, most people might not have the same speed, but they certainly have enough (for a CoD  match 16k is well enough). Now given the connection the host uses is wired, he doesn't have a billion people watching videos in his home and doesn't rage quit - is it not better to connect to this host who lives about 100 miles away rather than to the nearest dedicated server that might be standing 1000 miles away?

Now obviously most of the time all of these requirements might not be met, but when they are a listen server might still be better. Now Infinity Ward surely wants to save money by putting up less servers, but what I find worse is that they only do the old ping check to determine what you get rather than creating connection profiles of players and therefore making sure bad connections don't get hosts even though they have quick response times.

A hybrid system is good, but it could have been done better.

The issue is not the server distance, because Im am pretty certain there is a dedicated somewhere near my location as when ever I play alone ... it automatically connects me to a dedicated server. But when I start playing in a party with people all over the country. It forces a garbage listen server (home connection) on us, which isn't nessasarily the best option for ALL the people in the party. SO IT DOES, indeed become the worst option possible for the person who 1) doesn't like close to this particular live server 2) Already has a a better dedicated server available, than any possible live server

if you have a party with people from all 4 corners of the country, only 1 person will have a good connection to the listen server and the rest will be lagging, because they have a dedicated server in their location, but forced to use some crappy listen server which is much farther away

aFreshMelon I'm not  100 %  OK with you , with xbox live we pay for dedicated server and not peer to peer . We have swallow power of the cloud for 6 month now , we have power of peer to peer now !

If you are host of the games you always have advantages from other players, and call of is a competitve game we should have dedicated servers.

Dedicated servers can be hosted in diffrents datacenter all over the world : at least in Europe and USA

I've had a few good matches but it's not a constant dedicated server setup. I did believe it was going to be, I didn't see myself backing out of matches but sadly it seems to be exactly the same as playing the 360 version for most matches.

I noticed tonight for the first time that in between matches it was saying "finding best host" which indicated dedicated servers were not being used. Up until tonight it's been running super smooth for me, but tonight was laggy and noticeably worse. Perhaps the severs were just down? I think we need something other than the status page with the defcon levels. We have a right to know whether or not the dedicated servers are up and running. I will say since launch on xbox one I haven't had an actual host migration, but I did quit after two matches tonight once I realized it was going to be a host advantage lag fest.

just noticed it after the patch that it in fact i have been getting p2p (listen server as activision likes to codename it) if you notice it says 'finding best host' then it's definitely p2p, you don't even need to check for that in game you can tell you get the same old 2 seconds behind connection.

i paid for this 720p console for cod being on dedicated servers as promised and once again we are being lied to. if it continues to be this 'hybrid we hide if its dedicated' or not then i might as well sell this junk. i'm from the UK & it was on dedicated servers when it released but since after patch i noticed instantly how bad it went. Sort it out MS

Step 6. Define a name for the media source we just added as ghost . Make sure all characters of the source name are lower-cases, or you might encounter a problem connecting to internet server later during installation. Then click OK underneath.

Step 7. Then get back to the main menu. Click on Add-ons from the left panel.

Step 8. Click on the box icon from the upper side of the left panel.

Step 9. Click Install from zip file .

Step 10. Click on the media source ghost we just added to Kodi.

Step 11. Click on repository.Ghost.zip file within.

Step 12. Wait until you can see a message shows up on the upper-right side saying: Ghost Repo Add-on installed . That's it! Now you can explore Ghost repository. And by clicking on Install from repository from the current interface > Ghost Repo , you can install the addons within.
