Motor yacht ST. DAVID is a custom 60m superyacht designed by Andrew Winch and launched by the Benetti Shipyard. ST. DAVID was awarded ‘Best Charter Yacht’ by the Robb Report, and was recently refitted in 2019 to create the ultimate contemporary charter experience.

Luxury yacht ST. DAVID has six staterooms, including an owner’s master suite, a full-beam VIP stateroom, and four spacious double rooms that can be converted into twin rooms if required. The owner’s master suite is split over two levels, with a raised bedroom for maximum privacy, a stunning staircase, a lounge area, an ensuite, and panoramic views.

Charter yacht ST. DAVID is the star of Seasons 10 & 11 of the popular US TV Series “Below Deck”.

The interior living spaces on motor yacht ST. DAVID are finished to the highest standards, with mosaic floors, sculptured tables, and detailed marquetry. The Italian Riviera-style creates a lavish atmosphere on board, featuring a floating staircase that spans three decks and is topped by a skylight.

Outside, the ST. DAVID yacht boasts an oversized jacuzzi pool, refitted in 2019 with new pumps and jets. Large and impressive, this 60-meter steel tri-deck superyacht was built by the renowned Benetti shipyard in Italy. Lasting quality, design, and styling are the benchmarks of this famous builder. After the launches of Amnesia, Alibella, and Latitude, Benetti has raised the bar with the launch of the much-anticipated ST. DAVID. An evolution in design, her interior and exterior are innovatively-styled by Andrew Winch. Neil Cheston of CNI supervised construction.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The luxury motor yacht ST DAVID offers 12 guests the ultimate in comfort and luxury. The yacht can accommodate 12 guests, served by a professional crew of 16. The layout enhances social life aboard, from relaxing in the sundeck pool to dining in style on the bridge deck veranda.  Further, to chatting at the main deck bar or going afloat with the yacht’s extensive range of craft and watersports.

There are accommodations for up to 12 guests including a unique and especially large and luxurious owner’s suite with the bedroom raised above the lounge and the bathroom on a panoramic deck. After spending time on board the 60m/197ft superyacht ‘St David’ at the Antigua Charter Yacht Show, YachtCharterFleet finds out if she fulfils her ambitious brief to be the perfect charter yacht.

St David was launched in 2008 as the fourth hull in Benetti’s 60 metre series, but thanks to the hand of British Designer Andrew Winch, who redrew the yacht’s exterior lines and created a one-of-a-kind interior, she is undeniably distinct.

Lined up in Antigua’s Falmouth Harbour Marina, motor yacht St David cut a handsome figure as her low, streamlined profile and gentle curves sparkled in the Caribbean sunshine, and she waited to show off her wonderfully palatial interior.

She was conceived by her original owner as the perfect charter yacht, which would serve a wide range of guests as well as his own needs. Such a vision has resulted in a yacht that seamlessly blends practical spaces, which cater for a whole host of activities, with an opulent interior inspired by his love of the ‘big, romantic and elegant hotels of Italy’.

With glittering mosaics, rare marble and intricate marquetry, she is a spectacular showcase of the astounding craftsmanship Benetti is capable of as well as the power of Andrew Winch Designs to create the ultimate in luxury escapism.

Guests are treated to a stunning welcome when entering St David through the curved doors of her aft deck. Acting as a precedent of the splendour to come is a chequered marble floor with a central compass motif and a glittering cocktail bar to port.

Drinks can be sipped here as well as while sitting in the wingback armchairs opposite, but it’s impossible not to be enticed by the lavish charms of the main salon forward.

The rich, high-gloss wood of the bar is replicated in the wall panels and cabinetry, and the marble underfoot is replaced by soft, white carpets with embroidered borders of pink flowers to designate the lounge and dining areas.

Four sumptuous sofas in gold, peach and white fabrics face a low coffee table to create a sociable seating area, while a rectangular table with detailed marquetry and chairs upholstered in a gold damask pattern offer a fantastically formal dining setup.

Adding to the classical feel are four oil-on-canvas paintings commissioned by prize-winning muralist Michael Alford, and details such as candelabras, glittering glassware and fossil ornaments.

The opulence of the main salon continues into the central lobby forward, where a sweeping staircase cannot fail to capture attention with its intricate marquetry made from satin woods.

Enhancing the drama is natural light which filters through a glass bottom spa pool on the sundeck to illuminate the space. Such a feature is one of Andrew Winch Design's rare signature pieces, which never fails to amaze.

Tucked into a corner forward to starboard is a dayhead and passing this will lead to the master suite’s lobby where four glass-etched panels of charts illustrate destinations St David charters in, ranging from the Balearics , Corsica and Sardinia , to the Peloponnese and Windward islands.

A slip of corridor to starboard leads forward off the lobby to the master suite, passing a book-lined office to starboard. Large, sliding doors allow the room to be shut off for privacy and, connected to an en suite with a shower and head, it can be converted into a cabin for a security guard or other member of support staff.

The walkway leads through to a sumptuous lounge area, where a corner settee and armchair in ivory damask-patterned upholstery faces a wide-screen television. A dressing table adorned with an ornate mirror sits on the centre line and a large bathroom fills the space to port.

Radiating a spa-like feel, the bathroom features a beautiful, sand-coloured, Italian marble bath bookended by his and hers sinks, and surrounded by a chequered marble floor in amber and grey. Two showers and a head are located here too.

The suite’s defining feature, however, are the sleeping quarters and these are accessed via a short set of stairs with an ornate gold balustrade.

Italian master Luca Battini hand-painted a ceiling mural centred on the skylight in gold leaf and a soft pastel blue colour – a hue that matches the damask-patterned soft furnishings and carpet.

The overall effect is reminiscent of the Rocco style of design but the soft colour scheme and ample amount of natural light ensure the suite is both elaborate and tranquil – an ambience perfect for the principal charterer. 

Descending the central staircase to the lower deck leads to four guest staterooms but a globe sculpture embellished with 24-carat gold is sure to catch your eye first.

Designed by David Harbour, the globe serves as the mountain of a drinks cabinet and depicts the mythical land of Xanadu, after which the motor yacht was originally named.

Stretching across the full beam of the lower deck is a VIP suite, comprised of a large bed, sofa, desk, huge mirrored closets and a vast bathroom with beautifully grained gold marble.

Concluding the accommodation line-up are two double cabins and two twin cabins. All are named after different Italian hotels and boast slightly different colour palettes, from gold and rose to pastel green and cream.

Although lacking the full extent of the master suite’s extravagance, the guest suites are all extremely lavish, with luxurious en suite marble bathrooms and individual artworks. 

On the upper deck, the skylounge and aft deck area are referred to collectively as the ‘Tuscan palazzo’. Decorated in lighter wooden wall panels, the upper salon swaps formality for a light and airy atmosphere, while managing to maintain the romance for which St David is renowned.

A built-in sofa to starboard with pastel green upholstery follows the curved line of the bulwark and a circular wood-topped coffee table completes the scene. Opposite sits a games table and a widescreen television but the main feature is undoubtedly the inside-outside dining area aft. 

At its centre is a 12-seater, pale wood table, and a gorgeous mosaic floor formed of white, turquoise and gold tiles sparkles in the sunlight, which filters through a skylight situated above the seating area.

Full-width, curved glass doors slide open, allowing guests to dine alfresco while looking out onto the aft deck: a large, clear space designed as a multi-purpose entertainment area. A staircase to port then sweeps up to the sundeck above.  

Extraordinarily versatile, the sundeck is sure to become the daytime hub of any charter vacation , as well as the place to be after dark.

For those who want to keep up their exercise regimes, the forward sunpads can have their cushions removed to reveal two Woodway running machines or the gym tucked into the port side of the radar arch offers all the equipment needed for a workout.

A large spa pool aft of the sunpads is separated from a bar under the radar arch by a clear screen, which can serve as the monitor for alfresco movie nights or big sporting events. Guests relaxing in the Jacuzzi can even view the screen at the same time as those watching from the bar.

The aft half of the deck features a large, circular dining table, positioned under the shade of the radar arch. A step then leads up to a second sunbathing station, and a semi-circle of chaise loungers and parasols.

ST DAVID is renowned as one of the best party yachts in the global charter fleet and, when the sun goes down, her sundeck can transform into the ultimate entertainment venue.

Remove the chaise loungers on the aft-most part of the deck and there is enough space to host a DJ or the raised plinth of sunpads can be transformed into a stage for a live band. 

Within easy reach of the bar, a dance floor centres on the skylight above the upper deck dining area, and disco lights and a state-of-the-art sound system complete the nightclub setup.

For a more formal night of entertainment, however, modular furniture can be set up in this area to accommodate 24 people at a sit-down dinner. Plus, there is a portable karaoke system. 

Other highlights include a spa room on the upper deck, where guests can retreat to indulge in massages and beauty treatments, and a large swimming platform, which enables easy access into the waters as well as to the impressive collection of on-board water toys.

St David is certainly well-equipped for dealing with whatever activity happens to be on the agenda, whether it be relaxation, exploration, after hours partying or fine dining.

The Italian Riviera-style creates a lavish atmosphere on board, featuring a floating staircase which spans three decks is topped by a skylight and peeks into the bottom of the sun-deck pool.

Outside, perhaps her most impressive feature is the oversize jacuzzi pool refitted in 2019 with new pumps and jets. Also on the upper deck is a fabulous circulate dinning table for twelve guests and an adjacent bar. Dinning on the deck below offers an alternative experience with an indoor-outdoor circular table, well protected in case of a crosswind.

The Owner's suite is vast, with the bedroom on a raised panoramic deck with a sweeping staircase leading down and aft to the Owner’s lounge and bathroom. Adjacent to the Owner's suite is a small cabin for use by staff. Below, there is a full beam VIP stateroom, and four spacious double staterooms all of which have the option to convert to twins. Her accommodation is truly sumptuous throughout.

MYBA Terms: The Charter Fee includes the charter of the yacht with all its equipment in working order, tools, stores, cleaning material and basic consumable stores for engine-room, deck and cabins, etc., the crew’s wages, food and the insurance of the yacht for marine risk and third party claims and the crew for employer’s liability insurance. The Charterer will be charged extra, at cost to the yacht, for all other expenses. These include fuel for the yacht, fuel for the ski-boats or other tenders, food for the charterers, wines, beers, spirits and soft drinks for the Charterers, other consumable stores, berthing dues and other harbour charges away from the yacht’s own berth, including pilotage fees and charges for water and/or electricity taken from the shore, laundry, telephone, fax or telex via Satcom, Radio Telephone or telex costs, hire costs of special equipment placed on board at the request of the Charterer and crew gratuities. Prices exclude VAT (if applicable). VAT calculation depends on the embarkation port' country and on the cruising area. Charters shorter than a week are also available, depending on the date.

Luxury superyacht ST DAVID is an award-winning 60m superyacht. Custom-built by prestigious Italian shipyard Benetti and delivered in 2008, she recently underwent an extensive refit and offers guests a wide range of luxury amenities.

Featuring an ultra-flexible interior, ST DAVID can accommodate up to 12 guests overnight in her six sumptuous staterooms. Classically elegant, each of her staterooms has a private entertainment center and ensuite bathroom.

The spectacular split-level owner’s suite radiates Old Hollywood glamour with its sweeping staircase. The suite features a private office, lounge and ensuite bathroom downstairs. Upstairs, a vast bedroom is set on a raised panoramic deck with endless views of the ocean.

Adjacent to the owner’s suite is a staff cabin which can be converted to a massage room or spa. The guest accommodation on ST DAVID includes a VIP suite and four flexible double cabins that can be set up as twins as required.

The entrance to the main salon sets the tone for the room with a mirrored feature wall and a full cocktail bar. Inside the salon, a large seating area is grouped around a polished table. The lounge leads into ST DAVID’s elegant formal dining area with a custom-made dining table for 12 guests. On the upper deck, she has a dazzling curved skylounge with a lounge and dining area.

At the rear of the charter yacht, you’ll find a large swim platform and watersports center. Ideal for alfresco meals, the main deck features a spacious outdoor lounge and dining area. The upper deck skylounge opens onto a seating area which is perfect for after-dinner cocktails.

By day, relax in the spa pool, then enjoy a drink at the bar. Enjoy a workout with a view using her gym equipment or catch a film on the outdoor cinema screen. After dark, dance the night away as the crew transforms this entire deck into your own private nightclub.

ST DAVID’s toy box is packed with an incredible range of water toys including Seadoos, Seabobs, wakeboards, kneeboards and water-skis. Fully equipped with a huge variety of inflatables and towables, ST DAVID also carries fishing equipment and dive gear onboard.

The ‘St David’ is a 196.85ft 60-meter  custom motor yacht built in 2008 by Benetti and last refitted in 2012. Andrew Winch is responsible for her beautiful exterior and interior design. The vessel was previously named St Ekaterina.

The interior layout sleeps up to 12 guests across 6 rooms, including a master suite, 1 VIP stateroom. She is also capable of carrying up to 14 crew members onboard, providing all with a distinctive, stylish charter experience.

There are a number of unique features on the St David, including a split-level master suite that offers guests with panoramic views. The whole yacht has stunning mosaic floors, and the whole layout provides flexible accommodation for all.

St David offers spa and massage facilities to add a real taste of luxury and an outdoor cinema and private nightclub make this the perfect party yacht for entertaining.

St David has a steel hull and aluminium superstructure, and is built to comply with both MCA and Lloyds Register standards. She comes complete with a modern stabilization system to reduce roll motion even during rough seas, and the yacht also has ‘at anchor stabilizers’ to keep things smooth even at anchor/zero speed.

Air conditioning keeps things cool even on the hottest summer days, and Wi-Fi connection is readily available throughout.

Mom Pushes for Answers After Daughter Vanished from Boyfriend's Yacht 3 Years Ago: ‘What Happened?’

Sarm Heslop disappeared on a foreign island in 2021. Her boyfriend’s alleged actions in the aftermath only deepened her family’s fears of foul play

It was March 2022, and Brenda Street was getting increasingly frustrated during her trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands to find out what happened to her daughter, Sarm Heslop, who had been missing for a year. 

Heslop, a 41-year-old flight attendant from Hertfordshire, England, was last seen in March 2021, within weeks of arriving in St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands to be with her new boyfriend Ryan Bane, who operated high-end cruises on his yacht, the Siren Song . The two had met on Tinder in June 2020 in Grenada and, after Heslop briefly left for Malta in the Fall, Bane asked that she return to be with him.

"I think she was starting to fall in love with him for sure. She loved to send photos of their adventures together," says Kate Vernalls, Heslop's best friend.

"I think she was excited as to what the future is going to hold," says Vernalls. "They're almost in paradise, aren't they?"

But things took a turn when Street received a call in the U.K. from Bane on March 8, 2021, claiming Heslop disappeared from his catamaran in the middle of the night. She has not been seen since. 

What started off as an adventure in paradise for Heslop has now become a three-year-long agonizing mystery for her friends and family. Soon after her disappearance, they began suspecting foul play, their concerns only deepening when they heard Bane allegedly refused to let local authorities into his yacht during their search for Heslop, according to a coast guard report reviewed by PEOPLE. (Bane's lawyer David Cattie says allegations that he did not let authorities into the yacht are "categorically false").

David Johnston, a private investigator working pro-bono for Heslop’s family, claims he has heard through his sources on the ground that Bane has since made several changes on his yacht, including allegedly refitting the freezer, fueling Johnston and Heslop's family's suspicion that Bane may have had a role in Heslop’s disappearance. 

Bane has never been charged in connection with the case.

While Street feels Bane has some questions to answer, she also maintains that the island police had failed to conduct a thorough investigation - including interviewing him.

"They've not done their job as police officers and they certainly haven't done their job as human beings," says Street.

A series of suspicious activities on the island following her disappearance has only added to Street's concerns. 

Following Heslop's disappearance, locals on the island had put up “MISSING” posters around the island. One day, Street claims to have received a photo showing someone had scribbled out the name of Bane’s yacht from a poster. 

During her visit, Street had a strange interaction with a local shop owner, she says. The shop-owner was eagerly chatting with Street – until she learned why Street was visiting. 

“Whereas the lady had been really friendly,” Street recalls, “it’s like she clammed up and wouldn’t say anything.” 

Authorities in St. John told PEOPLE an investigation is ongoing but did not provide further information.

Street wasn't always suspicious of Bane. During the initial stage of the investigation, she "gave him the benefit of the doubt," she says. That changed, she says, after she learned more about him.

Soon after Heslop's disappearance, she tried to contact Bane but claims her messages did not go through, which made her suspect he had blocked her. Cattie says he is unaware of Bane blocking any numbers.

After Heslop's story got out, Bane's ex-wife Corie Stevenson came forward alleging abuse during their marriage that she said had left her fearing for her life. He was convicted in that domestic battery case and sentenced to 31 days, according to court records reviewed by PEOPLE.

Stevenson immediately called the U.S. Virgin Islands police to tell them they should investigate Bane but, she contends, the police did not take her seriously.

While Heslop's friends and family continue their search, they do worry they may not find her alive.

"[Her] mom and dad have reluctantly come to the conclusion the Sarm is probably dead and [was] murdered by somebody," says Johnston. "So a significant change really from 'Find Sarm' to 'Justice for Sarm.'"

While they search for justice, Heslop's friends and family continue with activities that honor her memory. Her parents dedicated a bench in her name at a waterfront near where Heslop lived in Southhampton. Her friends gather for her birthday or on the anniversary of her disappearance to share stories and her favorite food.

Vernalls says if she hadn't gone missing, Heslop would probably continue her journey into the next adventure.

"She just would've done anything to continue traveling and she was fine with that," Vernalls says. "It didn't put any fear in her to go to new places."

Who is alexander mashkevitch.

Mashkevich was born in Frunze, Kyrgyz SSR, Soviet Union, in 1954. His father Anton, a doctor born in Lithuania, and his mother, Rakhel Yoffe, a lawyer born in Vitebsk, were evacuated to Kyrgyzstan in 1941. His family background is Lithuanian Jewish.

He is a graduate of Kyrgyz State University where he studied philology. Mashkevich started out an academic career but became a businessman during perestroika. Mashkevich, Patokh Chodiev, and Alijan Ibragimov form “the Trio,” a group of Kazakh businessmen who became billionaires. The Trio gained control of the recently privatized chromium, alumina, and gas operations in Kazakhstan (some of the largest ones in the world).

Mashkevich is one of the owners of Alferon Management. Based in London, Alferon Management has acquired mining operations in different places: Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Indonesia, Kosovo, Russia, and other countries.

In 2010 he was on the Forbes list of billionaires at #287. In 2017, he was on the list at #1098, with a worth of $1.9 billions. Now his worth is 3 billion dollars.

She has accommodations for 18 guests and 19 crew members on board. The VIP suites have fold-down balconies that add to the grandeur.

The onboard atmosphere is bright and inviting with subtle finishes. The entertainment areas are open to provide more sheltered and intimate formal spaces.

The yacht has an extensive health and beauty center with a spa and an expansive beach club.

The beach club creates the perfect area for guests to enjoy indoor/outdoor living. There is also a swimming platform where guests can leap into the water below.

She has an on-deck jacuzzi to soak up the bubbles and the views. The yacht also has an elevator for convenient access to her different decks and a comprehensive gym onboard. The tender garage is brimming with towable toys and tenders.

Reymond Langton Design also contributed to the exterior design of the LADY LARA yacht. She was built by Lürssen and delivered from their Rendsburg shipyard in 2015. The exterior has sweeping curves and elegant but masculine features.

LADY LARA was code-named project Orchid when she was launched from the Lürssen Shipyard in 2015 and later renamed. She has a full displacement hull which gives her exceptional speeds in the water.

She has a white aluminum superstructure and teak decks throughout. The exterior is accented by underwater lights, which illuminate her at the night.

The LADY LARA yacht is a 91m superyacht with a beam of 14.82m and a draft of 4m. The vessel reaches a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots.

She is powered by 2 MTU engines and has a displacement of 2,945 gross tons.

She features an advanced stabilization system that provides guests with the best comfort levels on board by minimizing the rolling motion of the vessel. The $180 million yacht has a $14 – $15 million annual running cost.

She is an award-winning yacht that holds an award from the Asia Boating competition in 2016. LADY LARA has a Lloyd’s Register classification.

A $1.4 Million-Per-Week Yacht Charter Experience

Y.CO has just welcomed the 298-foot Lürssen Lady Lara to the charter fleet. The lowest weekly base rate is $1.4 million for bookings this winter in the Caribbean and Bahamas.

The yacht is also listed for sale—at more than $254 million—for the first time since the German shipyard delivered it in 2015. Y.CO’s Max Bulley and Gary Wright, along with Merle Wood of Merle Wood & Associates, represented the yacht at the recent Monaco Yacht Show.

“With Lürssen quality and stunning Reymond Langton design, Lady Lara is an exceptional yacht that was conceived with family living in mind,” Wright stated in a press release. “Her adaptable spaces, variety and flexibility, in addition to all the amazing features like the breathtaking spa area, the beach club and two pools, are ideal for multigenerational groups and put Lady Lara into a league of her own.”

Accommodations are for 12 guests in their choice of eight staterooms (for private use, the yacht is built to accommodate 16 guests). Six of the guest staterooms are on the main deck, with one on the lower deck. The master suite has its own private deck with an exterior terrace, outdoor hot tub, and indoor library. The aft-deck space in the owner’s area is called a “winter garden,” with sliding glass panels that can be closed to shelter diners from the elements.

There also are two cabins for owner’s staff or supernumeraries, in addition to the yacht’s quarters for 27 crew.

Onboard amenities include an aft-deck pool whose floor can be raised to create a dance floor. A sound system on this deck helps to create a discotheque-style environment for parties. There’s another pool up on the sundeck, this one with a swim-up bar.

On the bridge deck, guests have access to the spa, which includes a hammam, massage room, treatment room, beauty salon and gymnasium. Guests who prefer to get their exercise outdoors can do so from the beach club at water level, which has a steam room and a sauna along with a sunbathing area.

For rainy days and relaxing nights, the lower deck aboard Lady Lara includes a cinema. There’s also a touch-and-go helipad on board, if guests want to escape to a different spot up the coast.

How fast can Lady Lara cruise? According to Y.CO, the yacht has a top speed of 17 knots and a cruising speed of 14 knots, which is plenty fast for exploring the islands.
