Northwest Motor Yachts from 52′ to 70′

Northwest Motor Yachts are not “cookie cutter” models. Each Steve Seaton designed boat Northwest Yachts builds is tailored to the individual requirements of its’ owner. The size, layout, styling, hull configuration and construction materials are carefully considered in the creation of your new boat; one built just for you.

For open ocean, coastal, near coastal and inside passage cruising, our semi-displacement, FRP constructed Trawler series are the perfect configuration. This gives the owner the option of cruising at displacement speeds for economy or, for when it is needed, cruise at speeds up to 12 knots (depending upon engine selection). Northwest Motor Yachts are built standard as a twin engine configuration optionally as a single. Northwest Motor Yachts are available with engine sizes that will allow for faster cruising speeds or to achieve top speeds of 18 to 20 knots. For the 52 and 55, Northwest offers the John Deere 6068 (330hp) engine(s) as standard. For the larger models, the John Deere 6090, (500hp), 6135 (750hp) or MAN 1000hp engines are available.

With the larger Cummins 330hp you can cruise efficiently at 8kts or push her up to 13kts when needed. Coupled with her 8hp bowthruster, she's a breeze to manuever and dock. Her large diamond seaglaze windows, and mahogany woodwork throughout make for a bright and inviting salon.

With less than 50 boats built, and each built to order, the Pacific Trawler 40' has built a strong  following. Their seakeeping and high quality of construction has assured that these boats will be sought after, popular cruisers for many years to come.

With it's large salon and flexible space that can either open fully or be closed up to form a second stateroom, this Pacific Trawler offers multiple options for how you may want to use your space. The Northwest 75 twin cockpit motor yacht is the flagship model of the Northwest Yachts fleet and to say she is impressive is a gross understatement. Everything that an owner of a trawler motor yacht or an expedition yacht desires from safety, hull and deck strength, economical fuel efficiency, superior handling, and luxurious accommodations inside is found standard on the Northwest 75. And with two cockpits built into the layout, the opportunities for relaxing or dining outdoors are abundant. The interior of the Northwest 75 is perhaps the most impressive with luxury appointments throughout that satisfy even the most discerning yacht owner. The master stateroom boasts a king-sized berth with a Handcraft pillow top mattress and a hydraulic lift under the mattress to access storage spaces underneath. There is a center island with drawers as well as two hanging lockers for extra clothes on extended journeys. The master head is inside the stateroom and features Corian countertops and sinks with Grohe fixtures. Nearby the VIP stateroom, also complete with its own head, has a tapered queen-sized berth with the same hydraulic mattress platform and storage spaces. The third guest stateroom on board additionally has its own private head and features two single berths. There is also a captain’s cabin in the pilothouse as well as a pilothouse head.

Powered by twin MAN V8 1000hp engines, the Northwest 75 will achieve a top end speed of 20-knots, which makes this expedition-style yacht competitive with all similar yachts in its class. When cruising at 10 knots with extra fuel reserves and the genset running, owners can expect a range on the Northwest 75 to be around 1,200 nautical miles. 1929 Northwest Blanchard Lake Union Dreamboat, Build in 1929 by N.J. Blanchard Boat Company; Latitude has been a United States Documented Vessel since she was launched. Past records have indicated her original name may have been Adagio. Other names since may have consisted of Martha E, Ananda and now Latitude. Current owners carefully chose the name LATITUDE mainly because her beautiful lines remind them of latitudes on a navigational chart. Latitude has managed to maintain almost all of its original construction and cabin arrangement. In 2011, she was nearly 80 percent restored, however, she was closed up without proper ventilation for almost two years. This led to several areas of dry rot and major condensation issues throughout her interior. It was then her current owners purchased the vessel. Latitude was hauled out to under go a full restoration on her hull from the water line down which also included repairing multiple areas above the water line. From varnish to electrical, thru hulls and running gear, it suddenly became a mission to bring this vessel back to her prime. They succeeded in doing just that. Latitude still has the original round chine designed by N.J. Blanchard Boat Company but has been modified slightly to a semidisplacement V-Hull. Several frames and stringers have been sistered for support reasons but both original and new are all made from oak. The hull planking is Port Orford cedar with a mahogany transom. Many of the original bronze fasteners still keep her planking together. From bow to stern, Latitude boasts the finest boat building from the Roaring 20s. $49000.00

The Nautical Structures 1500 lb. capacity six way davit is on the port aft of the bridge with the 2007 12 Apex tender with 50 hp Yamaha on stainless davits. Direct access to the aft cockpit is through the covered hatch at the starboard rear. Entrance to large aft cockpit is through the port or starboard transom doors. The large sliding glass door allows access to the salon. The walk-in engine room is accessed via the lifting bridge steps. The water system, inverter, diesel furnace and oil change system are all conveniently located in the engine room. The two large hatches in the cockpit allow access to the 17 KW Onan generator with full sound shield and the water maker. This Meridian is equipped with silent underwater exhaust for the genset  and the main engines. Wide walkways port and starboard allow travel to and from the foredeck safely and easily. The 50 amp power cord is on the back deck with a Cablemaster automatic winding system for ease of handling. The main salon and galley are on the same level creating an impressive social area with large, panoramic windows.  The galley is equipped with a full size refrigerator/freezer, four burner cooktop, double sinks, ice maker and large counter space with dishwasher and trash compactor below. 1986 Tollycraft Cockpit Motoryacht 44', For Tolly fans or those unfamiliar with these ruggedly built and heavily laid classic Pacific Northwest modified v-hull cruisers this one represents a unique opportunity to have it re-powered according to the new owner's intended use. She's hauled and in the 'independent contractors' work area of the Pensacola Shipyard ready for a scheduled inspection, working on her there or for her transport to another yard. She was refurbished in 2007 with a AwlGrip paint job, new windshield, new custom surround hull bumper guards, custom queen mattress, all new upholstered cushions and luxury window treatments. Until September she was kept at the owner's home dock but due to health issues has been rarely used since 2009. Factory powered with twin Crusaders when built for its Lake Michigan area owner's local use during their short boating season she was acquired by the owner in 2003. She's being sold as needing re-powering due to failure of its port main. Last year the owner obtained turn key pricing for new EFI Crusaders with matching transmission drives but family issues delayed the re-powering project and forces her sale as is. However, the owner likes her so much he would consider retaining a one-fourth (1/4) fractional ownership in this great Gulf Coast 'floating condo' if after re-powering and updating her she was to be 'Home Ported' in the Pensacola area.
